It's always good to find a very good breakfast place, and Toasty was that! Walking in I was thinking to myself this place is pretty typical of the breakfast & lunch cafes popping up all over town. The sparsely yet tastefully decorated dining room, the obligatory neon sign in a designated picture taking area etc. , this place had all of it. The food and service here differentiated them here though... The service was great. My server, Melanie did a great job. She was also assisted by the owner who came by early in the experience and thanked me for being at the restaurant. Both checked in on me and made sure I had everything I needed. Too many restaurant owners don't understand the importance of they themselves being the face of their business, but they get that here and it's refreshing. I ordered the Ham & Cheese Omelette with Home Fries and Pancakes. Everything was really good. Review #2025

My kids and I tried Toasty on a whim and it turned out to be a win! We have trouble finding breakfast places that we all agree on, but Toasty got everyone's thumbs up. If parents are concerned about the amount of sugar their kids consume, then this might not be the place to take them. Both of my kids got the Mickey Mouse Oreo pancakes, and as you can guess it was Oreo cookies crumbled on top of pancakes, smothered with sweet sauces. For a lot of kids this is heaven. I went with a protein heavy steak and egg bowl and absolutely loved it. One of the best breakfasts I've had in any Dallas restaurant. Our server was incredibly sweet and checked in on us the perfect amount of times. The place itself is very clean with cute signs and sayings hung throughout. I think the only hard part for me is I still cannot get used to how pricey breakfast has become. Toasty isn't more expensive than your average breakfast diner, but it is just crazy to me how much you have to spend on breakfast these days. All that to say, I would definitely put Toasty at the top of my list the next time I think about going out for breakfast.

Food looks pretty and taste good. The menu is good, very big. My friend got the french toast and it looked PHENOMENAL so I might have to come back to try. I got the american with classic eggs bacon and pancakes. Everything was good and for the price it can't be beat!

My granddaughter & I found this place while looking for somewhere new for breakfast and were so glad we did! We timed it right - they were not busy at all at 10am on a Saturday, so we grabbed a booth instead of waiting to be seated (sorry!) and were promptly approached by Chelsee. She was smiling, asked questions and was genuinely interested in getting our order right. I ordered a vanilla latte $5.50 and she ordered a caramel macchiato $5.85. I never eat all my food - it's a problem, lol. So I ordered the oatmeal $9 and the pancake combo $16. My eggs were cooked according to order and everything was so good! I only had a few bites of everything, as the latte & water had filled me up. I've had better lattes, so I switched to regular coffee. My grand had the french toast combo which she loved. Great service, great food, we will definitely be back!

The food and service was really great! Our waitress had a smile the entire time and it really made the experience even more pleasant. The place is bigger than it looks from the outside in so there's plenty of space. There was no wait list which was a huge bonus since I was visiting and don't know the area. I recommend this place for anyone that's interested in a tasty well seasoned and delicious breakfast.

Stopped by Toasty for brunch and was impressed for being a small space, it was jam packed at 10 am. That made me think it must be good. They haven't been open long they said, but talk about an option for everyone. The menu showcased something for whatever you are in the taste for. Sweet, Savory, Benedicts, Crepes, French toast, Pancacke, Omelets, Salads, Burgers, you name it. So I was feeling like something sweet but light, and decided to go with the crepe combo, that comes with 2 crepes, bacon, eggs and sausage (which I switched for hash browns). The portion sizes were awesome, much more than expected and it came out so quickly. So kudos to the back kitchen for that! I was very surprised. The only reason for the lack of one star comes down to the bill. So for my crepes: you'd think they'd give you options for a flavor as part of the combo. None the less they didn't, and told me I could add a fruit or what not, but it would be extra. I'm thinking okay, no problem, assuming the upcharge was maybe $1 or so. They charged me $2.50 EACH for strawberries on one and blueberries on the other ($5) for like 2 sliced strawberries and a few blueberries throw on top? That's ridiculous! I could've bought a whole carton and sliced them myself at home for the price of that. I didn't like that at all. I think they should consider their add on prices or start allowing for a flavor to be included. Who wants to eat bland ass crepes?

8-27-2023 It was a busy Sunday morning, we were seated immediately. Service was just a little slower than you'd like. It is very loud, making it difficult to carry a conversation. Ordered a sandwich, sweet potato fries are an up charge and ours were overcooked, still edible and we did eat them, would prefer a little less cooked if I order them again. Sandwich was good and satisfying but nothing that blew me away. I will return for another try, looking forward to ordering breakfast next time.

Always great customer service and food is always good. I feel like this place could probably be one of the best breakfast spots in DFW. If they made the decor a little more lively and maybe add some luxury couches to wait, just for looks, I think it'll go a long way, but I have no complaints just a mere observation on making it the busiest in the area. Wait staff is always attentive and that's because they have at least 3 servers in the floor. Usually other locations are lacking in servers and makes it terrible in that department. Food is also pretty good and sizeable. I just feel with treating customers with respect and with great customer service, I will always visit this place. So far 4 times there and 4 times I've had no complaints

We had breakfast in the hotel and our server was helpful, friendly and had a sense of humor. We visited the pool and were surprised that it was not heated. The hotel gym was decent, could use a better (newer) bench but it had the basics. Our room had everything we needed (the bed was quite soft) and a great view of the eye across the street. My first shower would only get warm and not hot so maintenance had to come up and show me a safely button to push which allows the water to get hot. This was after texting with hotel staff (a very helpful option) but surprising that they didn't just tell me about the button and chose to send maintenance. We were in room 852 on the North side of the hotel and overlooking the eye. We came back from dinner around 10 on Saturday night and were kept awake until about 1:30am. I guess Main St is where people choose to drive their cars with the music so loud it feels as though it's in your hotel room. The motorcycles and cars also like to rev their engines.... A LOT. The windows appear to be single pane and they don't keep any noise out at all. Due to the noise level, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.  Being on the 8th floor and feeling like I was in the cars that were driving on main st and blaring music 2 nights in a row was incredibly disappointing.  If this was a 2 star hotel, okay.  That is not the case.  Upgrade the windows to double or triple pane.  Your location is great, service was friendly and efficient, but one generally wants to sleep at night and that is not possible at your hotel. We even asked the front desk on our second morning if we should change rooms and were told Sunday nights were quiet. I should have listened to my gut as our Sunday night was not quiet. Although the amount of cars & motorcycles wasn't as much as on Saturday, we still heard several cars with music blaring or motorcycles reviving their engines until around 1am. This was the beginning of a long overdue vacation and birthday celebration and it did not get started on the right foot unfortunately.

If you hadn't told me it was duck, I probably would have thought it was chicken. The mimosa was a build your own, it came with 3 juices - orange, pineapple and cranberry - and you got to pour as much or as little juice as you wanted. Between the two of us, we each got about 3 glasses. I got the French toast, which tasted like a deep fried donut, in a good way. The outside was crunchy, the inside still had the pillow custard texture. However in my opinion it needed more of the apple pecan slaw especially if you weren't trying to drown them in syrup. My friend had the chilequillas which she really enjoyed but did mention a few times that it was a little spicy. We ended the meal with dessert which was rich and luscious but oh so delicious. It was a cholesterol mouse that was covered in a hazelnut chocolate shell with a raspberry sauce. Overall a great time was had & I'd gladly go back to try more.
