I came across this newly opened claw machine shop while visiting Oakridge Mall and stopped to take a closer look. The plush toys are above average in quality. Compared to other nearby claw machine shops, there are fewer obviously knockoff or low quality plushies, to me that is very important. That said, the price reflects the quality. Each play costs one dollar, which is higher than many other machines in the area. During my visit, there were quite a few kids playing, and the business seemed to be doing well. Overall, this is a decent option if you care about plush quality and do not mind paying a bit more per try. If you are mainly looking for cheaper, casual fun, the pricing may feel a little high.

This is a nice size store. I love coming here and looking at all the Japanese toys and collectables. My kids like this place to. There are so many toys and a nice selection to. You have to go through all the aisles to make sure you don't miss anything. I always look for Godzilla stuff and the latest stuff from Japan. You just never know what they are going to have for sale.

This place caught my eye while I was walking through the mall. I went in to check it out. They have 20+ stuffed animal claw machines. You have to buy tokens to play. You can even trade up all your winnings for a larger stuffy. While I was there, there was a young man who had a little cart filled with his winnings. Today I was an observer. I'm not very good at claw machines. Next time I might give it a go. The young man behind the front counter was so friendly. I had a lot of questions and he answered all of them with kindness. Looks like a fun place for kids and adults.

Super cute and fun place with so many plushies! The atmosphere was great and I would definitely recommend it to stuffed animal lovers, families with kids, or even just friends looking for a fun place to hang out!!

My two older kids had a blast yesterday at Fluffy Town! It's located next to TP tea and Auntie Anne in the Oakridge Mall. My 9 year old heard her friends talk about it at school and kept wanting to go. It was our first time, Vanessa was very welcoming and my kids won and 3 plushies, including a Labubu plushie on their first try :) We will definitely be back.

Super cute plushies! Super friendly staff! Fluffy Town is the ultimate destination for claw machine enthusiasts! Their redemption-themed arcade offers a wide variety of adorable plushies and exciting rewards, all set in a cozy and whimsical atmosphere. Whether you're reliving the carefree joys of childhood or discovering the thrill of claw machines for the first time, Fluffy Town is here to bring happiness and unforgettable memories to everyone who visits. Go visit and see why Fluffy Town is more than just a game - it's a moment of pure joy! If luck wasn't on your side that day, you can also purchase the plushies inside the machines for $18 each.

Fluffy town is a real paradise for all. This store is fun, colorful and brings you into a whimsical mood. The whole shop has a playful vibe, pastel color and cute displays which attracts all ages. They have a lot of plushies and high quality collectible toys to inexpensive miniature toys. With the pop mart labubu craze , you are sure to find your labubu here. Must visit for toy lovers.

An fun place to hang out with friends or date! The process is really easy and simple to get coins, which you will use for plays. The employees are there to guide you through any questions you might have too! Their plushies are really cute and fun! And yes, it's not impossible to get the prizes, which you can also trade for points as well!

Adorable!!! One of the many prizes at Fluffy Town.

If you like claw machines, this is your place. If you don't like claw machines, you can't help but have fun here. I'm always skeptical about claw machines. They're designed so the house always wins, right? But here, you always have a fighting chance. And best yet? The whole staff is rooting for you! You should definitely try out this fun place in Oakridge Mall. PRIZES: Way above average. Most claw machines have plush that is hard and marginally cute. Fluffy Town has some great plush in assortments I haven't seen before. The most adorable Stitch plush. Super cute kitty plush. Harry Potter plush! Just so much to choose from. PLUS, you can just straight up buy them. Don't want to try your hand at the claw machine? Prices are totally reasonable. AND you can earn points toward bigger prizes! SERVICE: Seriously, the best customer service ever in an arcade setting and levels above most places period. They were so nice and helpful AND all you have to do is ask and they will reposition the plush to give you a better chance of grabbing it! I've never seen anything like it. Super friendly also. COST: If the service wasn't so great, this would be the best of all. At $1 per try or less, you can play quite a few times and it would be worth it for the fun. I can see hosting a birthday party here and getting a bunch of free tokens to give to the kids. So much fun!

Another fun spot! I know these claw machine spots are trendy but what I appreciate about these places is there are opportunities for kids to win prizes! I don't get the sense the machines are calibrated against the players. Which means, there will be some great wins every so often. In one visit both my kids got a blind box, my daughter got hers on her first try! Way to go Fluffy Town, thanks for making it so fun for the kids!

usually you'll be able to find a Hello Kitty of some kind in a machine or two every week

My brother and I have been hooked on the claw machines here since they opened! Whenever we go shopping at the Ranch 99 we usually find ourselves meandering over to "just to take a look" before getting drawn in by a particularly alluring prize and trying our luck/sharpening our skills. I really appreciate how fair the machines are set especially in comparison to the other arcade machines in this area. Many people win prizes and skill truly does make a difference! We've never left empty-handed, although that does mean we're quickly running out of storage space for all of our fluffy prizes. All the staff members have provided wonderful tips, assistance with jumbling the prizes, and were knowledgeable about the app and prize exchange policy. I hope everyone can enjoy Fluffy Town as much as we do!

Not difficult once you get the hang of it.
    Jill U.

Not sure why others might say the claws are difficult. We filled a basket full during Chinese New Year weekend. So many red envelope prizes. It's fun to decide which to keep and which to trade for points. The stuffies in the machines are soft and cute on their own and worth keeping. First visit I snagged one. Second visit nearly 20! The staff is always friendly. We don't need that many stuffies but we plan to be back! Download the app and you can get bonus coins that accumulate to trade for tokens.

I walked into a space that gets loud and warm during busy periods, and cleanliness varied by section, but the overall setup gave my group plenty of options for a few hours of entertainment. The arcade is the strongest part of the offering. I found the selection of rhythm games solid and reasonably well maintained, and the claw and gacha style machines are what Round1 does better than most chain arcades. That said, individual claw machine plays run around four dollars, which adds up quickly if I am playing multiple rounds, and the tension on the machines is inconsistent enough that results feel more variable than skill based. The prize section near those machines tends to run warm compared to the rest of the floor. Racing games, fighting games, and photo booths fill out the rest of the arcade floor, and the overall variety was broad enough to keep my group occupied. Bowling is available but came with some caveats. The ball selection skewed toward smaller finger holes and very heavy options, with limited middle ground, so bringing my own ball would be worth considering if I bowled regularly. Party packages are available and include shoes and games, which streamlines the booking process for larger groups. For a casual group outing, birthday celebration, or evening with a mix of activities on offer, Round1 covers the bases adequately. Going in with realistic expectations about the cost per activity makes the experience more enjoyable. It is not a refined destination, but for what it is, it delivered a fun few hours.

It was extremely stuffy and warm in May, reminding me of a locker room. I definitely wouldn't want to come back during the summer. We won a decent amount of prizes (albeit we spent $240), but the prizes weren't as cute as the ones I've gone to in SoCal either. It was hard finding a machine where I actually wanted the plush or figurine. They also had 6 different machines just dedicated to kuromi, which is great and all but there just wasn't much variety. Hopefully they update their selection and add more skill based machines.

They are held at California Extreme in Santa Clara, Golden Gate Pinball Festival in Lodi and Pin-a-Go-Go in Dixon. California Extreme is not exclusive with Pinball Machines. There are also tons of arcade games for those who enjoy them. We have enjoyed attending these events whenever we're able to. In the past, our work schedules often got in the way. Now that we're retired, our vacation schedules often cause conflicts. The people who run this event have always done a tremendous job of getting others to bring their beloved machines, set on free play, for the masses to play. In return, they get free admission. A substantial number of volunteers are also needed to load-in, load-out, wipe down, perform minor repairs, scorekeepers, registration, check-in, etc., etc. We attend to see Pinball Machines that we've never seen before, to play with machines that are hard to find, to play new machines, but mostly to play in the tournament. Yes, there are cash purses and trophies or plaques to be one. Bragging rights galore! But for players at my level, it's mostly about WPPR Points that affect your International Flipper Pinball Association Ranking. As I write this review, I am 8640 out of 103,576 players in the world. Does it mean anything? Only to my ego. At one time, I was sub-3000. I simply don't play in enough tournaments to keep my ranking. This year's tournament entry fee was $2 per game. That is not particularly expensive BUT there was no limit to the number of entries that one could purchase. This changes that tournament of skill and luck to one of skill, luck and DEEP POCKETS. In my opinion, there should be a single buy-in. Everyone plays the same number of games on the games that are available. Yes, this will reduce the prize money but so what? Whatever happens, happens. If you have a great day, congratulations. If you have a lousy day, better luck next year. But under the unlimited buy-in, you just keep putting out money until you have a few good games to tie together for your final score. What? The tournaments almost over but you're in 11th place and only the first 10 places are in the money. Well, play some more and hope to improve your score and win! Anyway, without the tournament to play in, I will either only attend California Extreme one day only or skip it all together moving forward. Additionally, this year, for the first time, the Hyatt is now charging $40 to park overnight. This was either not disclosed at the time of booking or I somehow missed it. When I complained, it was discounted $20 because I was staying there for California Extreme and another $10 because I'm a Hyatt member. I was told that, "all the other area hotels are charging more for parking and the Hyatt is just trying to catch up." There was a 49ers exhibition game on Saturday, August 19th, and parking was expected to be at a premium and traffic would be a zoo. To counter that, we arrived way early to get a space. We arrived at 8:30 for a 10:00 opening. Because we left the house so early, we didn't have time to eat breakfast, but we had plenty of down time in the hotel (check-in was at 3:00pm), so we opted for breakfast in the hotel (see our review for Evolution). Breakfast Buffet at $28 per person vs Continental Breakfast at $22 per person. So, while California Extreme is still lots of fun, between the costs and the crowds and a Deep Pocket Tournament, it may be time for us to move on.

This place is legit, it was my first coming, and I'm so glad I did. My niece was off school for the…read moresummer, and I was scrambling last-minute for something fun to do. Amazingly, Great America is closed on Saturdays, and it was way too hot to be outside. This spot was perfectly air-conditioned and just what we needed. I don't know if I got lucky with the crew on shift, but the staff were on top of it and made our experience awesome. We got to try everything with our tickets, and even I was able to crawl and run through all the attractions. (I'm a petite adult who works out, if you're larger or have bad knees, you might get stuck.) I paid $38 for me and my niece to play together until more kids showed up. There's also a membership for $25/month (one adult + one child), but you have to commit to at least 3 months. This place was worth every penny. My niece made friends right away and ran around playing until closing at 8 PM. That said, there are a few areas where I think the experience could be even more fun: **1. Bathrooms:** They were a bit of a mess--typical kid chaos, like toilet paper everywhere. Totally expected, but a little more frequent cleaning during peak hours would go a long way. **2. Bazooka Ball:** It took *way* too long to get a game started. Some kids had to leave before it even began, and kids kept asking me, "Is it going to start?" When it finally did, playtime was only 3-5 minutes. That felt rushed, especially after waiting so long. I think it would help to have a set schedule for these games to be posted and spread out throughout the day. It could even be a fun "grand finale" before closing. I get that it takes safety training to run the game, but giving families a clear time to plan around would make a big difference. I can see parents saying after bazooka ball we're going home. Also, I got to play 2times, the guns worked fine the first round--but the second time, mine and my niece's guns were broken. With such a short play window, fiddling with gear that doesn't work really sucked. Before starting a game, someone should test each gun and label the ones that are out of air. That way, every kid gets a fair shot. I'm glad our first round was solid, but I could see a kid being really disappointed if they waited forever, got a broken gun, and then lost. **3. The Tire Slide:** There's a slide in other reviews where kids sit on a tire and roll down a long, fast track. We were so excited to try it--my niece hauled that heavy tire up the stairs, ready to fly--but when she sat on it, nothing happened. It just... stopped. No roll at all. I don't know if they changed the flooring, but it's a huge letdown. That slide was a major selling point for us, and it didn't deliver. I get that speed could be a liability, but even a slight roll would make the climb feel worth it. We all sign the waiver--some fun and freedom here would go a long way. **4. The Ball Pit:** My niece tried to cannonball in--only to find out it's not even full. Just a floor with maybe half an inch of balls, giving the illusion it's deep. She didn't get seriously hurt, but she did hurt her leg jumping in. We sat and watched other kids do the same thing--one after another--slowly realizing the pit wasn't safe for jumping. At trampoline parks, they mix foam blocks in with the balls so kids can jump and swim around safely while staying on top. It also helps staff see everyone and prevents accidents. I think adding something like that would make the ball pit way more fun and way less risky. --- **Things included with your ticket:** - Maze - Trampoline - Jumpy House - Bazooka Ball - Mini Golf - Rock Climbing - All slides **Extras (cost extra):** - Food & water - Arcade games - Claw & candy games They even have a toddler area--secluded and locked off from the bigger kids. Perfect for little ones to roam freely and have a blast. **Suggestions for an even cooler experience:** A game card--like at Chuck E. Cheese--where you can play arcade games unlimited for a set time (starting when you swipe) would be a game-changer. It would keep the energy going and give families more value. Even without the changes I highly recommend this indoor park. I can see this playground getting old after a few times but for my first time here this place was lit and there was a birthday party going on so there was more kids playing hide and seek and tag it was a good time.
