Based on the "win" ratio of last time, I expected to pull maybe 6 plushies sine with $20 last time, I pulled 4 plushies. However, after using all 34 tokens, we only ended up with 2 plushies and found the games much more challenging this time around. The claw "opens" up once it reaches the top so even if you have a good grip, it drops the plushy you are trying to grab. On our last token, the owner felt bad for us and played to get us one more giving us a 3rd one. We thought it was because we were already really close but it took him 7 tokens (or basically $7) for him to even grab the plushy and give it to us. As such, I think there is an increased difficulty in the games so be careful out there. What a wonderful experience for me and my kids! It's hard to imagine distinguishing arcade-like experiences, but this place is really a cut above. From the moment we stepped in, I could see it was going to be a good experience. We were greeted warmly and the various options for tokens were explained to us. My kids received red pockets as it was Lunar New Year. The space is well-lit and clean. The machines were all in good working order. There are a variety of options to choose from in terms of type and color of stuffed animal to try for and all but the Lobubu one was a single token per play. My kids were having a great time and won a stuffed animal. As we were running out of tokens, the worker came by and gave my kids some tips that resulted in the getting more stuffed animals and an overall better experience. Honestly, I went there with low expectations. We came here on a Monday afternoon and had a blast with the kids. This place is situated in a plaza with many wonderful places to eat or grab boba. We were in the area, so we decided to stop by for a little fun. I had a hard time winning anything at this claw machine arcade, maybe it was an off night when I went. For $20 and 22 tokens, I actually couldn't win anything even with repositions. I feel like it must have been $40-50 worth of tokens put into the machines to get those 3 prizes I have above average/advanced claw machine skills and could usually win at least 4 or 5 prizes on my own at other claw machine arcades, so it was kind of disappointing to see how maybe the payout or claw strength was weak when I played. We had a birthday party here on Saturday, wanted a place to entertain the guests after our 1 year old greets them. The owner communicated with us very promptly, he also opened early so we can have a private event before the guests came through later. They had a birthday sign up and 2 folding table ready for us. We went up to the front and it looks like the owner helped us. Very informative and helpful. Plus we received an extra 10 coins since it's my nieces Birthday. What you can do is trade in stuffed toys/animals that you win for 2 points and have the ability to trade up for a better prize. The girls had a blast. I've been to a fair share of claw machine places all over the world. The reviews seemed ok but since going I agree with all the 1 star reviews. So there are claw machine places that are generous and have good stuffy placement and solid claws and then there's the ones that don't want you to really win any stuffies. This one leans closer to the latter. When we first walked in we saw some guy with a bag full of stuffies "playing" the machines. We thought oh this might be a good place. After a while we noticed he was actually a worker. He pretends to walk around playing with a bag full trying to attract customers I'm assuming. They had a worker walking around adjusting stuffies and pushing them flat to make it more difficult to win. Granted we did win a few but with spending $50 we usually win more than what we took home.
