She's knowledgeable and passionate about the benefits of the various therapies offered, and is happy to discuss all aspects of wellness. The office is comfortable and friendly -- you can even relax on a massage chair while getting your IV administered (and you may even be offered a nice herbal tea to go along with your treatment). I would honestly leave this place zero stars if I could. First off, the space is uninviting and feels like you're in some strange laboratory. Just had the most unpleasant and stressful experience with the female owner. I had issues redeeming my Groupon and instead of finding an equitable solution, she insists that I pay way above the Groupon price. I then asked a friend to purchase the Groupon so that I wouldn't have to pay an additional $60 for a service that lasted a total of 3 minutes. Ad I'm waiting on the voucher from my friend, the owner then tells me that she'll allow me to pay the Groupon price because it's not worth going back and forth for $40. At this point, I was left dumbfounded. As this woman literally made me run through hoops and then casually states that I can pay my original price when she said that I couldn't. Another thing is she was extremely condescending the entire time and kept suggesting that I had perhaps cancelled my order or asked for a refund and was now trying to redeem it. How insulting! The only silver lining of this entire experience was the receptionist who was very respectful and calm throughout the entire process and kept trying to find ways to help me redeem my Groupon. The actual experience was was quite novel, you basically stand in a shower-like structure and nitrogen is pumped all around you. It gets quite cold as you can imagine, and I spent half the session shivering uncontrollably before I finally got distracted enough to go with the flow. The facial was quite an adventure too. You lie on your back while a vacuum cleaner tube like device sprays nitrogen over your face. Try not to breathe too much of it in, it'll steal your breath away. I initially thought it wouldn't be for me, but after my girlfriend liked it so much I gave it a shot too. Remains to be seen whether it helps my skin or not. I come here all the time. It's one of my favorite places in Manhattan. Cryotherapy is especially good after an intense work out or if u have an ache or pain u need to recover from. Basically your body in order to recover faster needs to cool down. But, only so much an ice bath, cold shower or ice bag will do. Ice goes to freezing temp, but cryo will go down to -150(c) around -220(f). Now there are a lot of cryotherapy places throughout the city. I have found that here @AdvancedCryo offers the best discounts when purchasing a package. Staff is super friendly, offer waters, coffee, chocolates :), fruits and more. I'm addition at Crosby Location. They have IV treatment which I love for detoxing and packages are least expensive in the city. Also, have a Physically Therapy on staff he is amazing and EMS workout which is also intense. The place is constantly revolving door to athletes like myself, models and actors. I've tried the local and a vitamin b shot but really it's the cryo that is my absolute go to treatment. I exercise a lot and am aggressively addressing chronic inflammation in my knee caused by life, genetics and running in my younger adult life. Cryo has been great 1x a week and I'd go more if I lived closer to soho. Pricing is reasonably especially if you can get a package on discount. Be very very careful with this place. I came in looking to get local cryo done on my leg as I wanted to speed up the recovery process for a partially torn calf. I had never done this before so I expected to get a brief tutorial. Nope. The staff was not knowledgeable at all and simply just asked me where it hurt and began the process. Upon conclusion of the session she immediately left the room and just said I was good to go in a few minutes. Afterwards, my leg was red which I was told was normal, however, I woke up with a huge and painful blister on my leg (which I still have a week later). I dropped by randomly on a weekday to try a full body cryo session and cryo facial. The clinic was very clean and the treatment rooms are very modern looking. They were able to see me right away! Ladies, keep your bra and panties on, and you are supplied with gloves, socks and a robe. Once you enter the "cryo-cylinder" You handover your rope and freezing dry air is blowing out your body for 3 minutes. It's not as bad as it sounds! It was quite bearable for the first two minutes...but the last 30 seconds... I left feeling peaceful and relaxed, Yet alert and energetic. If I could do it every day, twice a day, I would! We were a little nervous and didn't know what to expect but Irene was very accommodating and assured us we would be fine. She actually even went above and beyond to make this a fun experience for us!
