Vitality NYC was such a great experience. When I went in, it was for the Cryo. The guy who helped me throughout my experience was amazing! I never felt nervous and he made me feel very comfortable. Yes, it's freezing. It's COLD COLD COLD. But I felt pretty good after. The three minutes went by rather quickly. I did have more range of motion and I did run a bit cooler which is nice in the summer weather. Why 4 as opposed to 5 stars? They also have infrared therapy. It would have been cool if they offered 15 min in the infrared sauna as well. I think that would have given them an edge. But in New York you have to pay for EVERYTHING. Disclaimer...none of the staff ever said anything of the sort to me. This is my opinion based on my body 24 hours after my 1st session. This is going to save my life! My body is bundle of small pockets of pain. I have a pinched nerve, plantar fasciitis, knee pain, extremely tight IT bands, tight hamstrings, my right calf muscle is rock hard (from the plantar), right foot pain and some tummy troubles... working out is not even an option because it just hurts to bad during the workout. I want to get back to working out and join a run club. With my pain it's impossible. I've learned to live with most of the pain but why! It's not healthy. I'm not happy. It's affecting my mental state and my ability to sleep properly. Of course I've been to every doctor and basically have been told it's just the aging process. Our bodies just become sore. "Do you want some pain meds"..."We can set you up on a pain regimen"....NO NO NO So enter cryotherapy... in particular Vitality NYC. I had been following the owner on Snapchat. I found his post about his fruit based diet. I watched Vitality being built and after researching the benefits of cryotherapy I promised myself to give it a try. I did and I feel amazing! I could only last 2 mins of the 3 minute session. I will do better next session. Immediately following I felt euphoric sensation. Like my whole body was a york peppermint patty. No, my pain is not 100% gone but I definitely feel better overall, less tighten in the whole body, my pinched nerve in particular feels at least 50% better. This is going to be something I do on a consistent basis. Looking forward to the improvement over time. All I can say is try it. The facility itself is my kind of place, clean and quiet. I've had a lot of treatments over the past eight years, and he is definitely at the top of my list of people I trust. You MUST see him for a treatment- you will feel amazing afterwards! Even if it's your first time, he will make you feel more than comfortable and drop some serious knowledge during the treatment that most people pay an extra $150/hr for. If you're looking for someone to help take you to the next level of health, he's your guy. Sooo glad he opened up this space. All of the therapist there are very well trained and truly the best of the best! And the cryotherapy!!! So amazing. I go once a week and it's changed my life. My first time doing cyrotherapy through Classpass. The guy at the front desk was very informative and made me feel comfortable for my first visit. I got changed into the robe, socks, and shoes they provided and he took my blood pressure and I was ready to go into the frozen chamber. The guy talked to me throughout the 3 mins but honestly at the last minute it was so numbing I couldn't really concentrate on what he was saying. I'm glad I lasted the whole 3 mins and he took my body temperature after and I went from 99 to 46 pretty crazy! Overall, I'd say it's great to try & a fun experience but I probably won't feel any significant changes unless I do more sessions. read more

My boyfriend and I were interested in trying it for the first time so we came to Vitality (a little hungover) and couldn't even remember we were hungover afterwards It was a really cool feeling after, like I could run for miles. The man helping us was so nice too and very knowledgeable of the benefits. They provided a robe (if girls want to go completely naked; guys have to wear tight briefs), socks, booties, and gloves to wear while you're in the chamber. All jewelry and metal must be removed so it's not touching your skin. Each person goes in for 3 minutes max, which can be cut short if it's too much for you. Overall, highly recommend! read more

The first time there was so much cramping I was just like no way I'd go back, right? Wrong. It completely changed the game for my digestion system. Like a serious digestive reset. Ever since first watching Absolutely Fabulous I have been interested in getting a colonic, yet I always allowed fear and embarrassment to stand in my way. A few weeks ago I received my first colonic at Vitality. I was greeted by Nick, the front desk staff person, who was so warm and friendly I knew I had found the right place. Then Mike came to greet me. I told him I was very nervous and embarrassed. He immediately put me at ease. After the paperwork was filled out he took me into the treatment room and showed me all the equipment, explained what each is for, and went through a detailed explanation of the process of receiving a colonic. Afterwards, I could feel all this energy coursing through my body, like I had stuck my finger in an electrical outlet. I even noticed that I didn't need my glasses, my eyesight was so crisp and clear! I purchased a Groupon for a single session and tried cryotherapy for the first time a few weeks ago at Vitality. Just for some context, I go to the gym 3-4 times a week and lift heavy weights or row, and have a super active dog that I walk for anywhere from 2-4 hours on weekends, so my body, particularly my hamstrings/quads, tends to be pretty beat. The day I went in for cryo, I was extremely sore from a rough post-holiday workout. When I stepped into the machine, I didn't really feel cold for the first 2 minutes, but BOY did it get cold after that. I was definitely shimmying in there trying to keep warm. I came out of that chamber feeling pretty good, went to sleep feeling weirdly sore, and then woke up the next day not feeling sore at all! I felt so good that I'm considering purchasing a regular package from them. The people who work at Vitality are also extremely welcoming, informative, and supportive. I went with friends who were also trying cryotherapy for the first time and the person with us did his best to keep them calm and distracted from the biting cold. Overall a great experience, and the only reason I don't give it more stars is that the place is pretty small and they only have 1 cryo machine. They do not have the proper working equipment to check your blood pressure. Drove all the way out from New Jersey and told my pressure was too high when they were using a cuff that was way too small to check my blood pressure because the larger one was out of order, way to waste my entire afternoon. Very very upset. How can they possible get an innacurate reading and reject me for the treatment because there machine was out of order. You're not real doctor's. I recently went to Vitality to get my first hydrotherapy colonic. Within the last 4 years, I'd been suffering from stomach and gastro issues. I've been diagnosed with IBS and have tried so many different things. Different diets, elimination of different food groups to now being almost 100% plant based.
