Ordered up a Sausage & Gravy with Biscuits and a chorizo scam Pdue egg with potatoes. Good portion size. The biscuits and gravy were ok (tasted like corn meal was added to the biscuit). I liked it, my wife was so so with it. The Chorizo scrambled eggs were good and just the right size. I'm not a big breakfast fan, so it worked for me. Finished it off with a chocolate shake. Small spot in Cuyahoga Falls right near the Route 8 overpass. Super friendly staff helped us during our visit. We chatted with a few staff members about the menu. The homemade jams were tasty. This restaurant was right up the street where we were staying, so decided to give it a try for breakfast. It has a small seating area inside, and I didn't see that it had an outside seating area. It was full, but there were some seats at the bar so we grabbed those and felt very comfortable. The service was very friendly and fast - everything was looking good for a great breakfast! I was so excited to see they had a good selection of veggies for a veggie omelette, and they also had great reviews on their Eggs Benedict, however both our meals were not tasty. The eggs for the veggie omelette were overcooked, hard and dry. The hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Benedict was more butter and paprika than any other ingredient. We looked at the meals the other diners were eating and just about everyone had meals that needed syrup. So that might be the ticket to having a good meal at this place - but I cannot verify that. read more

We sat at the counter and were seated right away at the popular Saturday brunch time -our server was very friendly and attentive -fun location with lots of shops and restaurants around The Not So Good: -very limited menu for a diner -small portions and an upcharge for additions that should be included -unseasoned food. Was not expecting this at a diner where things should be flavorful and fresh -pricey for what you get. Only 2 medium discs of banana pancakes (NOT made out of banana nut bread at all) and 2 flat as heck tiny discs of overcooked sausage = $10.25 -ingredients are cheap (didn't use real maple syrup or whipped butter or thick batter, herbs, etc.) -tiny store front with very limited seating It's kind of hard to mess up diner food but this place definitely did not leave me wanting more. With so many other options around, I'll be looking elsewhere. read more

Lots of good selections were on the menu for breakfast and lunch. We had a nice breakfast, and the portions were not gigantic. I had the pesto tomato provolone omelet. The egg were fluffy and delicious. My friend's eggs were cooked perfectly. Hash browns came with the meals. They were a flat pile and a bit mushy, not individual pieces of potato or crispy, but they were still good because I ate them all. There were many bread choices, and a croissant is extra. I'll bet all meals are very good here, including the hand dipped shakes. The cafe is small, and fast paced. There are tables and a few stools at the counter. Glad we checked out this cute corner spot. Check the website for days and hours open. read more

I have been wanting to come here since moving to the area 4 years ago and I am so happy I was finally able to! It's small inside but it is definitely not lacking in charm. I stopped in with my mom and we were quickly seated and helped, we came at exactly the right time though because it filled up quickly! There are so many choices on the menu, but I went for the biscuits and gravy because it is my secret guilty pleasure. The biscuits were flaky and I loved the gravy. A small cafe on a corner, Flury's is cute and welcoming, with some kitschy decor and old school furniture, but not so much as to overwhelm. The menu is concise and there is a list of specials. Service was casual and attentive. I ordered the Cod Sandwich and a side of Onion Rings. The fish was a nice sized fillet with a crispy coating, cut in half with tarter and lettuce on a homemade bun; overall excellent, well balanced and delicious. The onion rings were ok, nothing special but clearly made in house. Flury's is cute, warm and serves good food, while nothing fancy, it is well worth a stop. read more

I've lived in Akron for 7 years and I can't believe I only just found out about this place! They have a nice friendly diner feel, but with elevated food. They manage to maintain the comfort food aspect of traditional diner food while stepping up the flavor in just the right way. I love this cozy little diner! Perfect breakfast/brunch spot with its affordable prices, tasty food, and pleasant service! I've had the egg's Florentine and the country fried steak. Both put me into a delicious food coma. They have sandwiches, salads, and shakes as well. It's also usually busy here so you'll likely have a bit of a wait but it's definitely worth it! Afterwards you can walk off the hearty meal you ate by checking out all of the local shops along the same street. Cuyahoga Falls has turned into such a cute area with lots to offer! read more

Pretty disappointed in this place to be honest. I am always happy to support local and try new places and Flury's had great reviews so I was excited to check it out. After getting seated and being basically ignored for a while (they were not busy and did not appear understaffed), our orders were taken. When they arrived, what I ordered came out incorrectly. I was kind about the error and they brought me a new order but were short with me after that and forgot my coffee. They brought me my first (and only) cup after I was halfway through the meal. Aside from the lackluster service, the food was not great either. I got eggs Benedict and the hollandaise was super greasy. The hash browns were overdone on top and mushy underneath...the only thing I did enjoy was the English muffin. Maybe they were having an off day, but I would definitely not go here again with so many other places in the Falls. read more

This place is okay. My over easy eggs were over hard. The hash browns were more like potato pancakes. The croissants are nice and the bacon was good. They offer you homemade jelly but don't tell you it is an upcharge. I barely used any of the small amount (about 1-2 teaspoons) of jelly. It was not very good, IMO. They brought the wrong jelly to my husband (they offer three choices...and on the bill the waitress wrote the wrong one down). You get one napkin each...I got up and asked for more napkins (since our waitress never checked on us until after we were done eating) and she gave me one more, I said can I get more than one (there were two of us) and she reluctantly gave me one more. Service wasn't what I would call friendly. It was fine, okay, bare minimum. Next time I would probably just drive to another restaurant for breakfast instead of coming here. read more

Came in because the reviews were so good. Wish we had chosen elsewhere. Beware that almost everything here is an extra charge. I ordered regular coffee and my husband asked for French vanilla. He meant creamer but the waitress brought him a cup of French vanilla coffee from a keurig for an extra $1. If you want sweetener other than sugar or sweet n low you'll need to bring your own. My mother in law tried to order Diet Coke because the menu stated they served coke. The server explained they only had Pepsi because the owner just buys what's on sale and it comes from a can. Weird. She ordered the veggie omelet which looked like it was made with 1 egg. When she asked for jelly the server stated they had strawberry and if you wanted anything different it was 50 cents extra because it was homemade. She is allergic to strawberries so she just ate her toast dry. My husband ordered a side of bacon for $4+ and got 3 strips. His croissant French toast was just one croissant sliced horizontally, pretty small. His eggs were served on a glass plate so they got cold pretty quickly. I ordered the #3. My potatoes had no seasoning and my biscuit was the smallest I've ever seen. When we asked for the checks they had to hand write them and got it wrong so we had to wait for them to fix them. However to pay they brought us an iPad. So you can afford an iPad but won't get more than 1 kind of jelly and I have to pay $1 extra for flavored coffee? I'll go to bob evans next time. read more
