Good food with great service; friendly waitresses, fair prices. Breakfast and lunch only.

Will be back here. More photos from last time. This place has a nice diner feel to it and is cute.

My wife and I came here and really enjoyed our experience. The place was quiet, simple and the food really seemed to hit the spot. The service was good. There was nothing flashy or gimmicky about the place, just peaceful. My wife and I have returned several times for lunch and our experience is fairly consistant. Bob and I enjoyed great service from Katie

Islay's is a place to go to meet friends and family for hot delicious breakfast or lunch. I love the corned beef hash for breakfast and the ham salad for lunch. Friendly, clean, good service and good food. Katie waited on me and my good friend Bob Steen today.

Delicious, very reasonably priced food. Italy's II is tucked away in a back corner- we've driven by often but only this morning found it online. Our waiter was friendly & courteous. The owners are working alongside with a couple young people- not a hoitytoity place at all! We will definitely come back! The one drawback was the smell of glue that was very strong. This is because a new roof was being put on. It did NOT detract from a great tasting breakfast though!

Food was good, quick service, high prices . New owner and food prices are at least double.

Got there at 10:50, should be a slow time and we're told it would take 30 minutes for our food. We left after 45 minutes.

Food is good but they have one cook so orders are cooked one by one. So if they are moderately busy, I've waited 40 min for breakfast

The exterior of the building is not much to look at, but inside they have really made it charming. The entrées we chose were the classic eggs, Benedict and the quiche. At first, I thought they were quite pricey, when the entrées came out, the portion sizes are enormous. It is always very busy I'm told, but it is worth the wait.

Parking is very crowded, but you can usually park at nearby businesses. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and given the option of waiting about 20 minutes for indoor seating or sitting outside with heaters. We chose outside. Even though it was raining, the heaters kept it comfortable and it was still a nice experience. The biggest issue was the wait for the food. It took about an hour for our meals to arrive. The staff was very apologetic and explained they were having issues, which we appreciated, but an hour is still a long wait. This was especially noticeable because the restaurant's website mentions that, due to limited space, guests are asked to limit their stay to about 75 minutes. The inside of the restaurant also felt very congested because of the front entrance layout and the constant flow of people coming in. One suggestion would be to add the bakery items directly to the menu so guests can easily order them with their meals instead of having to ask separately. Our server was very nice, and the food itself was good. I ordered the hash with scrambled eggs and a coffee, while my wife had a pot of tea and the Croque Madame. They also had specials available, but we decided to keep it simple. Sorry, no pictures -- we forgot to take them. Overall, the prices were slightly higher than normal for similar places we've visited.

The interior is really my only complaint because aside from that, we had a great experience! Not pictured here but their stuffed pepper soup was delicious. Also loved the grilled cheese and chicken salad. Will definitely go back but hope they're able to clean the inside a bit soon! I really think that'd help bring in more customers.

Like other reviews, the interior needs help! Badly! But the amazing friendliness from the server and the manager, the great large portions and yummy foods can almost make you overlook it. They are very accommodating. I'm a type one diabetic and eat keto, and they gladly took the bread off of my corned beef sandwich and put it on a bed of lettuce instead. The corn beef can definitely give Cleveland Slymans a run for their money. My husband raved about their fries that were perfectly cooked, seasoned and crispy. For two people with tip it it was almost $60. But the portions were so huge. I've never had such a large serving of coleslaw. It was amazing because I love, Love,Love love, coleslaw, and up here in Cleveland we get tiny little 2 ounce plastic things that are just an embarrassment. Our meal was lunch and dinner rolled into one and we weren't even hungry later in the day at all!
