Overall experience was pretty good. All the workers were very friendly and attentive. Only downfalll was the parking. We arrived around 12pm and the parking was so full, we had to park on the street down the road and walk. The inside was not even busy, plenty of open tables, compared to the lot, just must be very limited lot.

Monte Cristo with sweet potato fries (Sooooooo good!!)

So good!! Came to Molly Brown's and got the Monte Cristo -- absolutely amazing. The bread was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the mix of ham, cheese, and that sweet powdered sugar hit just right. Sweet potato fries were crispy and perfect, and the whole plate looked and tasted awesome. Super chill vibe, fast and friendly service, and just seriously good comfort food. Definitely coming back for this one!

Country Fried Steak (2) & Eggs with a side of hash browns.

I stopped in to Molly browns right before the Sunday brunch rush at about 11 AM. Although Molly browns has a small parking lot and not a lot of seats, we had no problem finding a parking spot and table. My overall score of this restaurant is a 4.5/5 stars. Starting with their service. Server was very nice and knowledgeable on all aspects of the menu. He was very helpful and brought drinks quickly. Next, Food gets a 5/5 . time from order to table was 10 minutes which is fantastic! Food overall was great I got the country fried steak with eggs cooked to order, toast, and a side of hashbrowns. Eggs were slightly under seasoned but overall the food was great! Menu diversity gets a 4/5. The menu itself was great, I only wish they had more lunch options for their kitchen being opened until 2. Cleanliness gets a 5/5 restaurant, tables, and seats were very clean. The bathroom itself was very clean but NOT handicap accessible. The bathroom had plentiful paper towels and soap. A little bit of dust around the vents and ceiling but this did not concern me enough to drop cleanliness to a 4/5. Value was very great for a family of 4 we paid 50 dollars. With my 12 dollar order of country fried steak I was given 2 steaks breaded well covered in gravy with 2 eggs and a side of toast. Lastly accessibility gets a 3/5 unfortunately for as great as this restraunt is, it is very small and mid rush people have to wait a good amount of time for a table, which in my opinion is worth it. There parking lot it's self is almost big enough but is compact and does not offer a plentiful amount of spots. Overall this was a great experience and I would recommend this restaurant to any family looking for a nice morning breakfast or brunch!

Our Homestyle Corned Beef Hash

My family and I were SO HAPPY that we found this place. We were on our yearly visit to Cuyahoga Falls, and we never usually venture too far away from our Hotel. We usually eat there, or eat in the immediate vicinity. Due to some issues at the hotel, we decided to step outside for our breakfast. We will NEVER be going anywhere else for our breakfast again when we come to town! The place was hopping and was packed to the gills--and the hostess was still kind and did all she could to get us in as fast as possible. Everyone we encountered there was super polite and welcoming. Our server was awesome, super attentive, and we would visit just to receive the level of service our family was given. Everything we tried was phenomenal. The portions were large, and we did not walk out hungry at all. Definite shout outs to the country fried steak breakfast meal, and their homemade corned beef hash! AWESOME! We definitely can't wait to return--and I hope we get to go for lunch or dinner as well!

Garden Skillet, Fried Chicken Skillet

A really cute and cozy place for a Mother's Day brunch. To celebrate the day, my mom and I had gone for a short hike in the nearby Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Around 1, we were looking for somewhere to eat when we came across this cute brunch spot. It seems like a local small town diner and has the feel too. The service was great, and they were so accommodating to changing our order last minute. The meals themselves are pretty hefty. My mom got a garden skillet which has a hash with veggies topped with three eggs and I got the fried chicken skillet which is a hash with peppers and country fried chicken topped with three eggs and gravy. Definitely a good sized portion for a meal. We also got a side of the strawberry cheesecake French toast, which was a little on the sweeter side for us. Overall, a great find and if I'm in the area again I'll definitely try to find this spot!

It has been on my list for ages but it isn't close to my house and the wait is always long! But in March 2026, my bf and I braved the wait so I can finally check this place out! Overall, it is clear why Blue Door is always packed - the food, while overpriced, is delicious and made by a team of talented chef and bakers! I'll say this was a 4.5 star experience. We were quoted a wait for about 45 minutes but we were seated after 30. The case of baked goods were enticing me the entire time but I resisted! Our waiter, Steven, was funny, helpful, and had a great personality. The place, obviously, was packed, with little room in between tables. We saw quite a few patrons order the incredibly indulgent horchata French toast ($24) and I don't think I witnessed anyone finish it! To start, I got a coffee from local coffee roasters, Angel Falls, for $3.50 and my boyfriend treated himself to a fancy hot chai $6.50. It was pretty good local coffee! I wanted to try their famous croissants so I ordered the croque madame croissant sandwich with breakfast potatoes ($21). The croque madame was incredible! The breakfast potatoes could have benefited from an interesting seasoning. My boyfriend wanted everything on the menu but decided on getting the "special menu" loaded baked potato breakfast burger with salt+vinegar brined house chips (aka fries) for $24. The potato inside was a large potato latke. This heavenly creation kept him full for hours. In the end, our bill was pretty pricey for a brunch but we enjoyed every bite. I'm not sure if I will be able to come here again since we got lucky with our wait, but they keep changing their menu and something might entice me so much, I'll endure any wait!

We started with drinks: black berry mimosa and salted Carmel mocha latte. Both were divine. The…read morewait staff was attentive despite the steady stream of customers. The exterior of the building is not much to look at, but inside they have really made it charming. The entrées we chose were the classic eggs, Benedict and the quiche. At first, I thought they were quite pricey, when the entrées came out, the portion sizes are enormous. It is always very busy I'm told, but it is worth the wait.

We grabbed menus near the entrance so we could pick what we wanted while waiting in line. When we ordered, there was a place to drop off the menus. On this inaugural visit, I requested the shrimp and grits, fresh orange juice, and beignets. We found a table for four and seated ourselves. The place was nearly full with one room cordoned off for only the busiest of times. While we waited, I visited the jam bar to get some butter. Soon, our food was delivered. The fresh squeezed orange juice was very tasty. I definitely enjoyed that. The portion sizes were good. I was afraid they might be small, given the price. The biscuits were large and good, but they are different than southern style biscuits. They can easily be cut with a fork, but also remain stable enough to eat with your fork after cutting. My shrimp was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. I think they put six medium-large shrimp in the dish. The grits were also not the typical southern style. They were creamy, but still very good. The dish was tasty and very satisfying. The beignets were delicious! They were served with whipped cream and fresh strawberries. Excellent! Our server was friendly and quick. Very good quality. Very good service. The only drawback here is the price. As we exited, the line was out the door.

It's less than a 10 minute drive from downtown Akron but it's off the beaten path. All locals (except me) in here. When I went (10AM Friday) the place was almost full, and I was dining alone, so I sat at the counter, happily next to the kitchen. To look at the kitchen was like looking inside a bee hive, bustling with activity but barely a sound. I could just make out what was being calmly stated "2 Silver Dollar, Salmon, Country Fried, 2 Over Easy..." It was fun to watch, but what was important was the output. It took just over 6 minutes from the time I order until it was sitting in front of me, and everything was perfect! The waitresses were so efficient. I saw my order hit the window and in about 12 seconds it was delivered. They were so customer focused, they were (jokingly) fighting over refilling my tea. When I was done and paid for I waited outside for Uber to pick me up (3 min). I looked back on what I'd just experienced, and snapped a picture of the two parking lots of cars for Fred's Diner. I counted and there were 32 cars at Fred's. OK maybe 10 were staff so 22 cars for customers, let's say on average there were 2 customers per car (remember I walked here so no car for me). By my calculation, Fred's was feeding 44 people every 30 minutes or so. No wonder they're only open 4 days a week and only for breakfast - lunch. I calculate they might serve 3200 meals in those 4 days, and then take 3 days off to get ready for the next week. I love this place. Wish I lived here so I could come more often.

The food is very good. We tried three different wing flavors. The house made buffalo, the Thai chili, and the citrus jerk wings. They fell off the bone and were delicious. I would have to say the best wings I've had, these really did stand out, and would say they are worth trying. They are a bit pricier than other places wings, but the flavor is there. What we really came here for was the burger, we've been trying every place that the Akron Beacon Journal did a tournament for to determine our own favorite, without nostalgia influencing our decisions. The burger was fantastic. The meat is seasoned well and the bread was soft and fluffy. The sauce tasted homemade and unique, but didn't take away from the burger. The pickles on it as well are homemade or made from a company nearby, but they're also very good and different than any you get at the store. I will definitely be back. I mean, in retrospect it's fine for the price, but it definitely did the job of the appetizer. I could have probably consumed 100 of those. As for the meals, everybody had clean plates, so no complaints there. I had the avocado chicken club, which did not leave me wanting.
