I have such a good experience here every time! My lash artist Janassa did a consultation with me the first time and we decided on a mix of extensions that would look natural but full! She was able to really open up my eye and work with my eye shape. I've been getting them filled the past few months and my lashes underneath are not damaged at all! Thought I should leave a review since people wanna bag on this beautiful small business boutique because I had a great experience. Actually, great experiences, plural. I've gotten my lash lifts here done by Daniela and loved them! I stopped going for a while because of financial issues, but I recently gone back to get my teeth whitened and they turned out whiter than I had imagined (not like veneers, but natural looking white). The owner is super nice and she asks what music id like to listen to and if I need a blanket since I'm going to spend 40 min with my mouth wide open while it whitens LOL! Great and reasonable prices as well and super convenient location. I'm an esthetician myself and would never tell people to stay away from a business if I had a bad one experience, I just talk to the owner directly instead of blasting it to others for attention. I absolutely love my lashes! Lucinda had such a gentle hand that I couldn't feel anything. I did a mix between classics and volume, D curl lashes. They feel so light and natural. I would recommend checking them out. Their prices (which are unbelievable) you get top quality lashes, and work. My first eyelash extension experience was with Flutter studio, and it was overwhelmingly positive despite some minor setbacks. I highly recommend Amy. She's super friendly, attentive, and takes time to make sure you love the result. She originally applied my full set (which I loved) and also did my eyelash removal. I started off with a classic set and at my 3 week fill, I was told I had great retention despite my wearing makeup and liner on a daily basis. I did develop a skin allergy around the day 10 mark. My derm and I weren't sure what caused my skin allergy, so when I try eyelash extensions again to make sure, I won't hesitate to book with Amy! An important thing to note if you start out with classic eyelash extensions and want to move to a volume mix on a fill, tell them ahead of time so they book more time! This allows the lash tech to make the volume fans by hand. I did have one fill with another tech, and I made this mistake of not allowing enough notice and time. She did kindly follow my request, but applied the premade fans which I did not like the result (a lot of fans fell out within days and the fans themselves looked thin). However, I blame myself for the outcome, not the tech. Overall, this is a great studio to go to if you're ever in the market for trying lash extensions! read more

I went in to get a lash lift. It was my first lash lift ever so as you can expect I was a little nervous. I told the lady that did my lashes it was my first time to see if you could maybe go through the steps as she did them, but no. She was quiet the whole time which made things kinda awkward. She kept saying my lashes were longer on one lid than the other and she had to start over. She did not seem happy about it. When we were done she said they didn't lift as much as she wanted because it was my first time. Which bummed me out before I even looked. When I looked in the mirror half my lashes were still stuck to my lid. Like are you kidding? I told her and she fixed it. You're not supposed to be on in contact with water for 24 hours but the next morning I noticed ALL THE GLUE she left on my eye lids. It was ridiculous. At that point I felt like she did a half job and took advantage of the fact that I didn't know what to expect. Will not be returning. read more

I'm so impressed with this lash studio. The vibe is super relaxing, it always smells good, it's got a chic ambiance,and it's really quiet with just the right music in the background. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because when I schedule my appointment they didn't let me know that I wouldn't be able to wear any eye makeup for 24 hours after the service. I had a hula show that night and she had already started the process when she told me. Also didn't say not to put anything under my eyes prior to coming in and I had put my eye cream on. I found Flutter Lash on Yelp and seen they were having a special for new clients. I read nearly every review on here and noticed that Susan seemed to have many positive reviews, so I decided to book with her. When I went on the website I found that they have 3 ladies who apply lashes but only 2 of them were running the special. Unfortunately, it was not Susan and I was forced to pick from the other 2 who had 1 to 2 reviews only. Not sure why Susan did not have the special available, but I decided to give Haley a try and booked my appointment with her. I ended up booking a lash consultation and application appointment since this was my first time getting lash extensions. The salon is cute and very clean they have nice furniture, but the parking is terrible so make sure you give yourself an extra 10 minutes to find parking. When I got there, I was greeted by Haley who was polite and provided some paperwork with details of the application. She then had me lay down and made sure I was comfortable. She began to ask what kind of lashes I wanted, cat eye, long in the middle or even, I advised her this was my first time and I did not know what it all meant. She briefly explained the visual effects of each one on the eye but never showed me pictures, so I had no idea what to pick. She also asked if I wanted them long short or medium and again I did not know since this was my first time. I thought it was strange she did not have pictures of what each one looked like on a standard eye, so I decided to show her a picture of the fake strip lashes I usually wear (I've been wearing them for 10 years) and she went based on that but again never showing me a picture or the actual lashes them self. I had no idea what she was going to put on me. Then she began to put some protectors for my eyes on the bottom and told me to close them that was it. She did not conversate with me at all for the rest of the appointment, so it was a bit awkward. I get some people don't like to talk I don't either but maybe a little communication on what she is doing would be nice specially for a first timer like me. She also never told me that I had to keep still, and my eyes closed the entire time. Thankfully I had watched many videos before going in and I knew not to open my eyes. I also made sure to read every word on the documents she provided me at the beginning of my appointment. My appointment lasted about 2 hours total and when she was done she began to remove the protectors under my eye which was fine. She then took a piece of tape off without warning and that hurt and once she seen she hurt me she apologized and explained she put the tape there because my lashes are very straight and down, and the tape was to keep them up. Something that maybe should have been communicated during the appointment and right before she took them off. She then had me get up slowly and never handed me a mirror which I thought was strange. She then told me that I could look in a mirror that was in the hallway outside of the room. I go to the hallway and this mirror is very small and there is a vanity in front of it so I was unable to get a close look. They looked fine from far away so I paid and provided a tip. Again, no communication on after care instead she handed me a baggie with a card that had aftercare instructions and 2 spoolie brushes. When I got in my car I took a closer look and my lashes were not very curly and were also not the same at the ends. One of my eyes the lashes ended more down then on the other eye. Over all they looked just okay and made me look like I had eyeliner on and not really lashes. They were not bad but not great. The good thing is they did last a long time, it's been 3 weeks and I still have the full lashes across my eyes. I would recommend trying Susan and just paying the extra money since she seems to have many positive reviews. I however will just stick with my strip lashes I can wear for the night as those are very curly and more noticeable. read more

I had an appointment for full eye lash extensions. Flutter lash called me twice to come in earlier, I told them I had prior commitments and couldn't. When I arrived the lash gal sold me on a different service, a lash lift and tint. I told her I wanted dramatic lashes and wanted a full set but she kept pushing the other service and said it would be faster and last longer. I agreed to it. A short time into the session her next appointment showed up, assuming that's why she called me to come in early and switched services on me. I wouldn't write a 1 star review about that, shady but whatever. My appointment was in January, the lift and tint were suppose to last for 6-8 weeks. I'm in mid-April now. When the lift was initially done my lashes would go into my eyelid. This was EXTREMELY uncomfortable giving me a headache and eye twitches for about a month. My lashes have relaxed now... finally in March-April and are no longer physically uncomfortable but they're chemically FRIED, I'm not able to wear mascara or get lash extensions still. It's estimated, I'll have to wait another 5-6 weeks if I use a lash lengthening serum. By the time my lashes are corrected this will be a 6 month plus ordeal. Be careful. read more

I was easily able to get in for a lash lift. Some background, I have Asian, hard to curl, down pointing lashes. I saw Sue, the owner. She took some time to talk to me about what I wanted and learn about my history with lash lifts. The bed was comfortable I was relaxed the whole time. Sue really knew what she was doing and her technique and product were perfect! My lashes look amazing, and SO lifted, and with so many failed attempts by other people, I wasn't expecting to be so happy. No product ran into my eyes and there wasn't any pulling. If you've seen many different people for lash lifts, sometimes there is pulling or watery product. There was nothing negative about this experience. I'll be back for either another lift when this wears off or for trying extensions. The place is very classy and relaxing, clean and she has the most adorable dog just hanging out.
