The place is clean and kids really enjoyed the bounce house! Our party host Beyah was super awesome and made our whole party experience great! She made sure to check in for every needs and the whole team was very helpful! It was overall excellent! We will be back! Thank you to Beyah, Mike and rest of the team!

Fun Box in National City had me feeling a little mixed. First off, the space is definitely smaller than I expected. The toddler area in particular was really underwhelming. It kind of felt like they just threw some blocks in there and called it a day. For little ones, I wish there was more variety to actually keep them engaged. The jumper area is a decent size, but again I had this vision it was going to be huge and it just wasn't giving that. Kids were going wild, as expected, so I stayed out while my spouse handled that chaos One thing I noticed though, a lot of parents were sitting inside certain parts of the jumper, which kind of blocked off areas and you could tell kids were avoiding those spots. They do have free arcade style game machines which is a nice touch, but that area gets crowded fast. Now the restrooms... yikes. For a newer place, I was honestly surprised at how dirty they were. Almost every stall needed attention. No toilet paper, no liners, just not maintained well at all. That part was a big disappointment. On a positive note, the party rooms actually look really nice and I can see this being a good birthday spot. But seating overall is limited, and the shoe storage fills up quick, so that's something to keep in mind. Overall, my kids did have fun, so that's what matters most. But they did say it felt a little scary with how many kids were running around nonstop. Not a terrible experience, just not as impressive as I was expecting. Curious to see how it holds up over time.

We came here for a birthday party and WOW! Just WOW! My son is autistic and he absolutely enjoyed himself. I love all of the colors, the aesthetic's and the amount of activities you can do. What an amazing place for kids to unwind. I appreciate the staff who were very helpful and kind. They pay attention to the kid's to ensure safety. They have staff monitoring the entrance and exit making sure no one runs out. Everyone that works here is so friendly. Highly recommend taking your kiddos here. Awesome place, 10/10!

Very fun for my daughter. Bounce bounce and more bounce lol. We went because of the grand opening promotion and my daughter wants to go after seeing a video. Very convenient location as it is at the mall too.

BEWARE Price Gouging!! I had a very frustrating experience trying to book my son's birthday party at Fun Box in National City and want to warn others. Two days ago, I attempted to book a Premium Birthday Party "Grand Opening Special" advertised at $259 (regularly $579), with a promotion valid until 4/20/26. I even took a screenshot because the price influenced my decision. However, the website kept crashing during checkout, preventing me from completing the booking. When I checked again shortly after and the next day, the same package had jumped to $579 (now shown as a "sale" from $679). That's a $300+ increase within hours, despite the promotion still being advertised. This raises concerns about inconsistent and misleading pricing, as well as an advertised promotion that doesn't match actual pricing. I contacted management via email and voicemail but received no response. Overall, this feels like false advertising, poor customer service, and an unreliable booking system. I recommend taking screenshots and proceeding with caution, as prices may not be honored. Unfortunately, my son is now disappointed because the event is no longer affordable. I don't recommend!!!

This is a new place in National City, and it's very beautiful. The kids really liked it, and I'm planning to reserve a party for them soon.

First day at Fun Box! My kids ages are from 2 to 15, and they ALL had a blast. So fun, easy check in process and the kids tired them selves out! Definitely returning

We picked mission beach specifically to ride the 100 or old roller coaster and we wrre not disappointed. It was $16 for us both to ride 1x each and it was fun. Its old. Its wooden. It creaks. It is worth it! Other attractions at BP looked neat but we specifically came for the coaster. There are tons of food options and some are sut down, some are fast food. Great date day!

He shouted out the total for two wristbands and I let him know there was a different price online. He shouted out to purchase the wristbands online for that price. I walked away purchased the wristbands went back to pick up the physical wristbands. He scanned the barcode and put the wristbands on our wrist. And then with a smile said the list of rides that were closed. And then said " we are short staffed and due to that we do not have employees at the rides once they get here at 12:30 then you'll be able to get on the rides" I looked at my 10-year-old and said OK we'll go walk the beach and get a bite to eat until they open up. Guess what the staff never got there! Honestly, he thought it was funny when he told me that we weren't going to be able to get on rides until the other staff got there. There were a few rides like the mini dipper and the carousel. But who buys wristbands to get on a couple rides and then get on the bumper cart. If that's the case then I would've just bought individual tickets. LET YOUR GUEST KNOW AHEAD OF TIME IF YOU ARE SHORT STAFFED AND THE PARK WILL NOT BE RUNNING AS USUAL!! I had to keep looking for staff to let us on rides and then even then I wasn't able to get on every ride. I paid for a wrist band for myself and my daughter thinking that we were going to be able to enjoy the day but we were not. I do want to point out that I'm a single mom and low income and this was supposed to be something amazing for us. $100 to Belmont Park is absolutely nothing but for me it is. And just FYI, I a lot of people kept leaving the park upset. But for them, they didn't purchase wristbands. We waited till after 5 PM hoping that as the shift changed employees would come and open up all of the rides, but that never happened. I was hoping to get my money back for the wristband, but because the employee at the counter was so aggressive I was honestly afraid to go up and ask for a refund. I'm hoping Belmont Park will make this right and provide my daughter and I with an opportunity to return to Belmont Park at no charge to us and be able to get on the rides.

At no point was there signage or staff to communicate the wait time, leaving us standing in line with no information. This lack of transparency and service made for a frustrating and unacceptable experience. I lost a good 30 minutes of my day, and on top of that, I had to tell my 7 year old that we could not ride a go kart today and left extremely disappointed your location. Which by the way, is not easy to get to and it is definitely not in the friendliest part of town. That said, if I were rating the overall experience based solely on execution today, it probably would have been closer to 2-3 stars. We rented the "Sports Simulator" booth and received very little instruction on how the games worked. Some games required using a golf club, while others required using the actual ball, and there wasn't much guidance on which was which. On top of that, the simulator frequently failed to recognize the ball. Eventually, we were moved from one simulator booth to another, which worked better and at least kept our boys (ages 9 and 11) entertained. We also weren't sure how food and drink service worked. We ended up going directly to the bar to place our orders because we didn't know the intended process. Again, a little direction would have gone a long way in helping us enjoy the full experience. The drinks were excellent, but the food was just average. My biggest suggestion would be to provide guests with a quick orientation or post simple instructional signage in each booth. A poster explaining how the simulators work, how to order food and drinks, and any other important information would make a huge difference. We ended up spending a significant portion of our rental time trying to figure out the process instead of enjoying it. Overall, I think this place has a lot of potential. The facility itself and the remodel is gorgeous, and once the operational details are ironed out, I can see it becoming a fantastic destination. We're rooting for you guys and would definitely give it another try!

The laser tag was extremely fun for the kids! Man, I had forgotten how much fun laser tag is until I saw my kid and her friends playing. Then the party room was simple, but served its purpose really well. Our party hostess, Karrina, was really great with the kids and made sure the party kept moving along. I think what I liked the best about the experience for the party, was that our hostess walked the kids around to the rides and through the arcade so they could familiarize themselves with the layout of the Boardwalk. As I was talking with the adults, we were discussing competitors like Bowlero and Lucky Strike and how unreasonably priced it is for a family of four now a days. Just the arcades there are so expensive! Here, the kids were able to make their tokens last for hours and walked away with some fun prizes too. I hope the prices never get ridiculously high here. I grew up going to Parkway Bowl and the Boardwalk. I am so happy that the accessible pricing has remained. Additional shout outs to MC and Noelle (staff members who were very helpful and attentive). Please don't change Parkway! Thank you for allowing us to host an epic party!
