Another flying hook review. If your headed northbound on I5 be prepared for a wait when you get off the exit to go under the interstate. There isn't a light and the small hill on the right does a pretty decent job of blocking your view of any oncoming traffic. One you navigate the little maze the hook will be on your left. It's clean inside, has a subway and decent showers for the drivers. Two of the fuel lanes were blocked off today as a worker was pressure washing them and a large motor home was standing off the line waiting to see where the next hole was going to be. Well a little toot of the ole air horn helped him to choose one. I fueled and parked earlier this afternoon, I watched the parking lot fill to and above capacity as the day has progressed. I hate to come to this place full of dirty treatment coordinated by racist management against drivers in all aspects. The services here are unacceptable and the reason is the management of this place is the one who urges the workers in this place to treat the drivers dirty. If you have experience you will see racism in their ominous faces. I have suffered a lot of problems in this place for years. I have been assaulted several times and I tried to file a complaint against the employees here in this place, but they did not listen to the complaint. Hatred, racism and attacks on the dignity of others are unacceptable in society. Today is Sunday the 16th of Dec, went inside to try and get propane filled the 3 ladies working the register were very rude and I had to ask several times to get they're attention. When they finally looked at me and asked what I needed they said they don't fill propane here, which I know for a fact is not true because I travel for work and have filled up propane at several other flying js. Would rather pay $8 a gallon for diesel than step foot in that place ever again. read more

If you are heading northbound, this is an inconvenient location. End up waiting to get off the freeway and then back on the freeway. Was pulling a uHaul and a trailer and needed fuel and some food. Got in and saw the place for RV's/Trailers that was regular gas. Pulled in behind a motorhome and waited about 10 minutes for the people to show up. They came out of the store with some cinnabon rolls and stood and looked at each other for another five minutes. Then they started playing around with the gas pumps and started to fill their motorhome. About 30 minutes later they pulled out. (I didn't use the other pump as their was a moving van parked there and the guy was no where to be seen.). I pulled up to the pump and the card reader wouldn't work to matter what I tried. I went into the store and waiting in line. I was the second person in line. The person in the front must've had no life as he was telling his life story to the cashier. About 10 minutes later it was my turn. I said I wanted to fill up on pump #x. And the response was, how much gas do you want? I want to fill up please. Well, how much gas do you want? I said give me $100 worth. Went out and started to fillup. The $100 only got me 3/4 full, but I was so tired of this place I just had to leave. takes forever to get fuel. people leaving their trucks in the fuel line to go shower, shop, eat at restaurants, 30 minutes breaks and do there prayers. it's an every day thing here at this truck stop. worst I've ever seen. need a full time employee to stand outside and make sure these guys don't run off while others sit and wait to fuel. read more

I was glad this place was open for truckers, as well as for myself. I usually don't like stopping in here unless it is for the chicken because it is so hard getting on, and off the freeway with all of the truck traffic. We stopped in the other day because we were in town on business, and it just happened to be off of that exit. That made it convenient for us to stop to use the rest rooms, and eat at Popeyes. We both used the rest rooms before leaving, and funny thing he says to me how nasty the men's room was. I had been thinking just that while in the women's. It was disgusting. It even had a caution, wet floor sign up. But didn't look like it had even been touched in a long while because of the trail of hair dust bunny's. I am telling you it looked like my Pomeranians had been groomed there. The counters were gross, everything. My thought was also if he was saying something, you know it has to be pretty bad! Absolute crap! Went here before and they held $100 on my credit card to fill a Fiat. They held that for over 24 hours. I decided to try going back again, this time paying cash. Cash must be paid inside, not knowing what I need to fill it at these newly inflated prices, I pre-paid $30 after waiting in a long line staring at several unmanned cash registers. The car too $28, now I get to go back inside and wait in line again. Their cashier has to serve food too from the hot plate area. So the line grew, eventually into 3 lines for one register because they have no clear sign or communication. 20 freakin minutes to stop for a simple fill up. Avoid this location at any cost, the gas station across the street has the same prices. read more

Pretty decent little pit stop. Located in just the right spot considering there is not a gas station for miles around!!! They get you in and out pretty darn fast and are even nice about it! You can grab the typical convenience store snacks inside if you need. The prices on gas weren't even that bad! read more

I just found out that Flying J advertises on Gas Buddy showing it is the cheapest gas around but they don't tell you they charge 60 cents a gallon more if you use a debit card. read more

This review almost breaks my heart, because 99.9% of the people here, are wonderful and I absolutely adore them. But one manager has made it his personal vendetta to ruin the entire experience for me. More to come on this, but unless you're a "PROFESSIONAL DRIVER", by Flying J's definition, you buy 200 gallons of diesel per visit, you're better off going somewhere else. Well, that is, if you expect to be treated somewhat decently. The regular, sedan driving crowd is pretty much worthless to them, and this lovely manager does his damndest to let you know it. I was in to fill up a 5 gal can with diesel at the retail pumps. I inserted my visa card and had some difficulties and after filling up with $20.04 it gave me a message that I had to go inside to the cashier. The woman said $20.04 and I said yes. Well when my bill came in it also had a charge or $16.03 that visa tells me was charged 5 minutes before the $20.04 charge. I bought nothing else there. I called the station just after xmas and was told to call in the eve for a certain worker. Three tries in the evening got no answer to the phone at all. Called again in the day a couple days later, again no answer!! I called the head company and they didn't know why there has been no answer. I told them what happened and the person got my ccd last 4 digits and my name although I got a sense this was not a priority. He said they would get back to me. Afterward I realized he didn't even get my phone number. Ok I see now. So 5 days later nothing. I have contacted visa to look into this for me. It sounds like their pump computer glitched or something and they don't care. read more

Always a pleasure to stop in here! The staff are friendly, the food hot, the drinks cold, the coffee fresh (what more could you need), and to top it off the bathrooms are always clean and fresh. I stop at this location every time I pass by even if it's only to get a cup of coffee and take a walk around the parking lot. Certainly a safe place, and the parking area/fuel area are clean and trashcans are almost always empty. read more

If you are traveling on I5 near Donald or in Donald Oregon this gas station has great prices consistently and pretty speedy service. They are right off I5 so quick and easy to get off and back on the interstate. They also have a market to get some good foods. read more

Trying to get to this place is a pain in the rear if your heading North on I-5. They really need to install some traffic lights. As to the Flying J itself, we had no issues. We drove up quickly and got gas and got out. Too bad the wait to turn off the highway wasn't as quick. Next time we will find a better off ramp. read more

Stopped here to put gas, grabbed a drink and chicken wings and corn dogs from their hot deli... Needless to say, the food was nasty. Chicken wings dry and way over cooked, and the corn dogs were super greasy. First experience with truck stop food and hopefully it'll be my last. This is my fault for not checking and being a distracted traveler BUT I was traveling from my home in Seattle to my home in San Jose. I stopped at this location on 11.19.2022 at a little after 9AM. I got coffee and a roll and THOUGHT even though I had a half tank still I would just fill since I was stopped. I was traveling with an older dog who get very anxious when we travel and was focused on her when I pulled away. Not thinking that the lady who filled my tank did not offer me a receipt. I get 30+ min down the road and look down to see I STILL have half a tank (it should be full). I figured since I didn't get gas that's why she did not give me a receipt. Stopped in Cottage Grove OR and filled up at the Safeway. Cut to this morning and Flying J charged me $47.27 for gas and I paid Safeway $42.80 to fill up the empty tank........ This Flying J is on of the BETTER ONES.!! In Fact it's 99 % BETTER than most, a couple more are tied with them. The only thing that bugs me is the TP-Dispenser is in the wrong place. This location has perpetually broken washers & dryers that they never even bother to put an out of order sign on, even after being notified that they are broken. Instead, you must invest ten more minutes of your time in getting a refund. This has happened to me five times at this location. The staff is also consistently rude and or inattentive. This is one of my favorite PFJ locations! There isn't very much parking but the spots are easy to get into, and overall the parking lot is kept very clean. The inside is kept up well too, and the showers are some of the cleanest I have come across. The staff are friendly as well. They have quite a large selection of snacks and prepackaged items, and they typically have everything I'm looking for. Overall, if you can get here early enough this a great place to stop for the night. read more

For the most part, we've been in and out of the Flying J without incident. There is usually a bit of a wait for gas or to pay inside for items, but generally it's not too long and I expect that going in. Extra patience, check. Today, we stopped in. Needed propane for the trailer so while my husband parked the trailer in the area to get Propane, I walked in to the mart to ask someone if they could come out. Done this MANY times before. I waited in the line to pay for items and asked at that point. The manager, who overheard me ask the clerk, who apparently is the only one working in the whole truck stop who was certified to fill Propane tanks, rudely said "nope, I don't have time for that today lady." The clerk, myself and the others there within earshot were stunned at her rudeness. I actually said "are you serious?" And she laughed at me and walked out the door to the gas pumps. I thought I was being punked. Nope. She's just THAT rude. We left and got Propane in Newberg. It was a bit cheaper and the staff were wonderful! read more

I stopped here on my way back to Seattle from the solar eclipse. The place was packed, but it was easy to get in and out off. The mini mart carries a ton of stuff and it is reasonably priced. There are showers and other amenities for long haul truckers etc. The gasoline prices were at the market price, so no real complain. The bathroom was clean and had the dyson blade dryer which is a plus. read more

I bought a 3000 watt inverter still have the receipt and because it is over 30 days they will not exchange it for a 2000 watt. I have never used it. I don't even want the money back for the difference I just want the 2000 watt. I will never spend another dime at flying j again!!!!! And, I will tell every trucker I see about it! I absolutely love this place. I drive from Seattle to San Francisco frequently and this is always my first stop. They have great food, clean facilities and cheap prices. The pump attendants are fast and friendly. I highly recommend this pit stop to anyone on the road. read more

Waited over an hour for propane!! Walked inside three times. On the third time the manager decided to tell me that they won't be filling any propane for a few hours so come back then! If I could give negative stars I would! These poor children that they hire to pump gas are run ragged from being the only attendant for about 20 pumps! They never send for back up,no matter how busy they are and management doesn't care at all ( I have called to complain a few times). I'm not even mad about my time being wasted, I'm more mad at the unfair treatment of their employees! Every time I'm there it's always someone new. That should tell management something but obviously not since it's been a few years now since they opened. I would go somewhere else but I live up the road and they are on my way to work. The other 2 gas stations around them are some how even worse, so this leaves me little choice, but to use these ass holes who don't give a shit about their employees or their customers! read more
