Last time I was here, it was shortly after businesses opened after Covid closures. I was required to wear a mask then, and obviously complied because every business and medical office was requiring them. Made getting an eye exam extremely difficult -- lenses during the exam kept getting fogged up, then wiped, then fogged up again until finally the doctor decided that I should probably take off my mask so I could actually SEE and complete the exam to get an accurate prescription. Well, that was then . . . And this is NOW. You are STILL required to wear a face mask here, even though the CDC no longer recommends them and every medical office I've been to in the last year has dropped that requirement. Not here, though -- if you don't wear a mask, you're not getting an eye exam. Even though I explained about my prior experience (the fogging, the wiping, the fogging again and the eventual removal of the mask), I was told that "we require you to wear a mask throughout the entire exam." See ya! Made an appointment with a different vision center so I can actually get my eyes checked without all the nonsense!

When I tried them on, I voiced my skeptacism and that they were no better than my old glasses which were nearly 4 years old. I agreed to give them a try. Over next months, I went back twice to express my dissatisfaction and each time my concerns were dismissed and I was told there was nothing they could do. After getting tired of carrying around multiple pairs of reading glasses of various powers so I could actually see clearly, I sent my progressive lens prescription to Warby Parker. In less than a week to send me a brand new pair of glasses for less than half of what Vision Source had charged me. When I tried on the WarbyParker glasses I was immediatly shocked about the increased clarity at distance and up close. The fact that the Warby Parker glasses were so much better using the same prescription that Vision Source provided me, tells me that whoever Vision Source used to make my glasses produced a substandard product and Vision Source Magnilia does not stand behind their product. My best experience so far. Dr. Stewart performed my eye exam and he was excellent! I was not rushed during the exam! I was able to clearly and confidently tell when the letters/images where clear to me during the exam. Dr. Stewart took the time to explain everything about the condition of my eyes as well as recommendations for the types of glasses I should consider based on my occupation and needs. He was very knowledgeable, calm and pleasant to interact with. I left feeling great and I will be returning for my yearly eye exams.
