I suspect if I had, I would have known about my new agent. What I thought I needed was a copy of my insurance cards for my auto policy emailed to me so that I could go through DEQ and not get a ticket should I get pulled over for speeding again. Turns out some junkie stole my catalytic converter and made a mess of the undercarriage of my vehicle and the financial damage was over $2,000.00. So naturally, I filed an insurance claim and filed a police report. Thing is, I delivered my vehicle to Everette Street Autoworks at 8:00 am just as I told the insurance adjuster I would and fully expected that adjuster to be there as promised to inspect my vehicle, approve the repairs so I could get the shop moving on the repair. None of that happened that day. I reached out to Joshua to express my frustration and he was able to get the claims process in motion. My vehicle is currently being repaired. We had a phone appointment set up to go over my current coverages yesterday before I was even aware of my loss. Joshua explained my auto and condo coverages to me in easy to understand terms. Made some recommendations for changes that made a lot of sense and I feel more secure now than I did before. They will not take accountability for their mistakes they make and unprofessionally actually blame you...and lie to you. Communication is beyond horrible. When you do get someone to answer the phone they will tell you they will call you right back and this will go on for days and before you know it it's been weeks. They tell you that you're on queue from when you call and are on the list but they still never call back. My license has been suspended 5 times because of them. I have been told by multiple agencies and the state that it is the agencies responsibility to send in the paperwork but they have failed to do so causing my license to be suspended. I let it slide the first couple times I understand mistakes happen but this continued to be a repetitive problem. This and them failing to communicate, not answering phone calls and never calling back lead to overwhelming disappointment and frustration. They've lied to me and told me it's not there responsibility to send in the paperwork just to blame me. The last time I spoke with them, I'm not going to say her name but I absolutely couldn't believe our conversation. She insulted me and said "we always send in the paperwork, but you always get frustrated when you don't pay in time" not only did she contradict what the other person told me blaming me saying it was my responsibility to send in the paperwork but she even lied to me in that statement and tried blaming me once again. I have everything documented. I have receipts with dates that (THAT THEY SENT ME) saying I made my payments in time! But they always fail to send the paperwork in leading to my license being suspended and the frustration and headaches they give me. Cheap but definitely not worth the trouble they cause you or the way they treat you, the unprofessionalism, lying , gas lighting, lack of communication, etc. can definitely find another company with similar pricing to get the job done.
