He's a seasoned physician with excellent patient care and serves as the namesake for both optometric centers in Moreno Valley and Riverside. As the lead/mentor to all the other doctors, Dr. Clayton has a fantastic understanding of visual impairments big and small. The explanations I received during my recent check-up were easy to understand, he's very approachable. I came in for my annual visit and ordered my new hard contact lenses along with some back-up glasses. The frames selection was a bit weak. I spotted several glasses that seemed too old for my taste, so I settled for some aviator-style frames. I liked them enough to buy them! My visit was later in the day, however I never felt rushed or uncomfortable. I took my time asking questions and received great service. The Optometric Center is linked to Loma Linda University Health (although they're not owned by them), so the office was able to obtain my ophthalmology documents from my LLU physician. If you're looking for RGB lenses for keratoconus (which I have), this is the place to go! The Optometric Center is highly recommended!

When I asked the front desk why my mom still had not been called, the lady was very rude and unprofessional. She claimed those people were there before us, which was not true at all. The fitting was thorough, and both Dr. Holcomb and the staff were patient and willing to test out several versions, sending me home with multiple trial pairs. For the fitting itself, I worked with Jennifer and Sabrina. Since it was my first time putting contacts in and taking them out, they were extremely helpful and walked me through the whole process without ever making me feel rushed. They have a fairly large selection of frames to choose from. The problem I had was Dr. Tran was repeatedly adjusting my prescription to make it weaker and I would have trouble reading street signs and seeing well. I would have to go back to get it adjusted. This happened multiple times. I've since went to a different eye doctor and have better vision with my contacts and glasses. Some members of the staff at the front desk are friendly, some of the technicians that helped me were not. During one of my visits they were playing unedited 90s grunge music the whole time I was there, complete with four-letter f-bombs. It just happened the one time, I thought it was very strange for this type of business though.

I went here and was prescribed two prescriptions - one with a lower strength eye prescription which the doctor said I could "test" to see if I like, and one with a higher strength eye prescription. I call in and tell them I didn't like the test ones and want to order an annual supply of the ones which were both high strength. They confirm and place the order I get the contacts (which were dailies aka very expensive) and put one pair in my eyes and immediately can tell they messed up and ordered it wrong I call them back and they basically say it's not their fault, nothing they can do, they just followed the doctors prescription. Since I opened the box they can't give me a refund First of all, we discussed the whole situation and you were incompetent because you did not check when I confirmed you were ordering the right ones. You just "yeah yeah whatever"'ed me Second, does the doctor not work for you? Are you not ultimately responsible? If not and the doctor is an independent contractor, then perhaps you should have internally discussed it with your contractor and came to an agreement. They basically refused to refund me. Every year they send me an email/text asking me if I wanna schedule my annual exam. No ma'am, I'll take my business to smart business people who realize that refunding 1 box of contacts from the mistakes of their employees is worth more money financially than losing out on years of exams and contacts orders Anyway, hope they're doing terrible. Each time I have gone in has been great. No complaints. The staff here really care about you and will treat you with respect and more than just a number. I've gone to too many places where it is noticeable they don't care about you or your eyes, just money. This place is not one of them. Every time I've gone in, the staff are chatting with customers asking about their kids/their families. You can tell this place has regulars and that's a green flag in my book. Dr. Everitt is amazing. I went in for new glasses and to try on contacts. I have been trying to find my perfect pair of contacts for the past 3 years. Other optometrists I've been to said my migraines were normal or made excuses for the blurriness by saying "my vision will never be perfect again like it was before I started wearing glasses". Dr. Everitt was the only one who listened to my concerns and tried different options to see which contact prescription and brand works for my eyes. No headaches when I wear contacts and it feels like I'm not wearing anything at all! She is amazing! I also want to give a quick shoutout to the staff who are all so nice and caring. However, my recent experience with the staff has been quite frustrating. My son went in on February 27th for new glasses, and here we are in April with still no glasses. The excuse given was that they have a new lab and his high prescription takes longer. While I understand that some prescriptions require extra time, we've used Costco for his glasses before, and they had them ready in just a week. Waiting almost two months for glasses is unacceptable, especially when we've never waited this long before. The estimated arrival date is now April 21st, which feels excessive. I've heard that the practice is under new management, which might be contributing to these service delays. While I appreciate Dr. Everette's care, the inefficiencies and lack of communication from the staff have been disappointing. As long-time patients, we expect better service, especially considering the costs associated with our glasses. I hope 20/20 Vision can address these staff issues and improve the overall experience for their patients.
