However, in December 2023, she colored my hair and it was AWFUL. She said in a text message to me that she takes responsibility, but when I started to discuss the problem she became very defensive. I thought taking responsibility meant making amends. This did not mean that to her. When I went back for service, she charged me the full amount. I paid it because I did not want to lose my temper and create a scene. I texted her a couple of days later to discuss my concerns and she said in the text she took full responsibility. Today, I texted pictures of my hair and sent her a picture of my hair before this treatment. I told her in the text the least she could do was refund my money for the color since she agreed it was a mess. She said she credited my credit card and would send the money for the color service when I got back to her with the receipt. I had appointments scheduled for the rest of the month so that I could get it treated to restore the health of my hair. She canceled all appointments, Unfortunately, I will have to sue her. You never know someone's true character until there is a problem. I am saddened the relationship ended this way. I did not see this coming.

She is professional, knowledgeable about hair care, clean, reasonably priced and FAST! I have a head full of hair and my wash and set appointments usually range from 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes. I am not caught up in fancy salons and posh ammenities like wine and fruit that usually accompany and 2-3 hour salon visit. Give me quick, fast and healthy hair any day. If you are looking for a fancy hair salon with a receptionist, chandeliers and an upscale atmosphere, this is not your place. But if you want a wonderful stylist that knows about hair care, is on time and professional this is the place for you. I look forward to coming to Tee for many years to come. Didn't seem like 2 hours. Right after I was able to sit in a chair to get my hair serviced. I walked out feeling like a star. The salon has a very home like feel. Each stylist has their own individual booth which I really enjoy because it doesn't feel like anyone is watching you or in your business. The hair washing sink is also in the same area. It can be kind of boring if you're getting your hair colored and you aren't actually getting up out of the seat for 2 hours. I bring something to read so it doesn't bother me. Chelsa is awesome, she's very diligent, especially when it comes to cuts. My mom and I have been seeing her for 9 years now. We both have gotten our hair cut and colored regularly by her. The receptionist is always very kind, they give courtesy reminders of upcoming appointments and the even do nice things like mailing a Christmas card! Their prices are extremely reasonable. I love that every cut price includes a shampoo and blow dry/flat iron. I'm super happy with this salon and I will continue to come back for my normal cut and ombre color.

Of the three previous ones I visited, one didn't have the color I wanted, one did not have a qualified colorist, and the last one required a consultation then a week to two week before an available appointment even though a sign posted states that walkins were welcomed. I walked into Egyptian Hair Styles on Saturday, spoke with the owner, told her what I wanted, and she informed me that any of the stylists could do what I wanted and assured me they have the color I wanted. The next day, Sunday, I did a walkin and was able to get exactly what I wanted. Both days I went, the employees greeted me promptly and was pleasant throughout my entire visit. I was seated in a chair quickly and the stylist began working on my hair. She asked what I wanted and delivered just that. To top it off, the price was reasonable. Parking is shared with other stores in the plaza, but there was plenty space available. I would definitely recommend the team here and would definitely return for and service I need.

Upon visiting, we were both thrilled at how quickly we got in and out (less than an hour) for a wash, dry, and style. We both even took our teenage daughters, too. My girlfriend first realized that something wasn't right upon washing her daughter's hair after only going to George a couple of times. She noticed the texture was straight n stringy n the back and it just didn't feel right. When washing her own hair, she also noticed the same thing and told me about it. Needless to say, when I washed my own head later (in preparation for summer knotless braids), I realized that my hair felt thinner and lighter towards the ends. So, I decided to give it a break from the heat this summer. Upon going to my main stylist, today, she initially felt my hair was ok, but would know for sure once she washed it. Upon washing it, she was upset and stated "my head is not the same head!" She informed me that they were using chemicals on our hair (e.g. relaxer) and we didn't even know it. I have been natural for over 14 years. Apparently, they add chemicals to make our natural hair more manageable, so they can quickly get us in and out. However, it totally destroys our once healthy full head of hair. I will NOT be going back, but definitely felt that I needed to provide this review to inform others as I was once sending George very high praises! Not anymore...
