I know businesses are trying to recoup money lost, but I am being charged more and the hairstyle is worse. The front braids always are on point, but the back braids are bigger with crooked parts. She is very friendly and nice to talk to but I need my hair to match what I paid for and it doesn't. If you ask for a pic, that to me indicates you can look at the pic and reproduce the style. Lastly, within days my hair had the frizzies and it is because she did not put gel on the hair as she has done in the past. I believe that will be my last time going there. For my last visit I give 2 stars because after all the money I paid my hair needs to be redone after just a few days.

Having previously had her first Crochet hairstyle done this summer so lovely with precision care & attention on internship in Silver Spring MD, by a stylist at a pretty reasonable price, with a great finish that she was loved; my daughter could not believe how awful this experience and crochet turnout ended up! She sent me video of her finished hair style as she sat in her car in the parking lot. Then called to tell me how it sorely missed her expectations. I tried to to comfort her. But after she sent me pictures and more video the next morning; I had to agree spending $135 and leaving the stylist with damp hair she should contact the stylist Ashley and inform her that the style did not look anything as she hoped, that there were gaps and visible scalp and the invisible knots were showing all over! I arrived at my appointment 30-40 min late due to really bad traffic. She could have cancelled my appointment, but she didn't. On top of that, when I booked my appointment, I thought what I selected included and wash and blow dry (which it did not), she explained to me that when I booked my online appointment, I selected "box braids" which are not the same at knotless (which is what I wanted). I immediately told her I did not know the difference (as this was my first time getting braids). She explained to me the difference, and that the knotless braids required more prep work, and take longer. I felt so bad! She spent about 30 min separating hair, and then another 30 washing and blow drying. She was the sweetest young lady. The fact that she was willing to accommodate my mistake really touched my heart. And on top of that, she did an AMAZING job. I originally tried to get an appointment at Fatima Braiding Studio, but their customer service was so horrible, I had to look elsewhere, and I came across Bintu Parlor, and I will not only be returning, but I will be recommending her to everyone I know. I was afraid my head would hurt during and after the braiding process, but It was actually so relaxing I was falling asleep. The hair didn't shed much the entire 2 months I kept my extensions. The braids were easy to take down, styling was superb and all the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and good stylist. Bay-bee, my hair lasted 2 months with no problem. I only took it down because I wanted to wash and treat my natural hair. I'd recommend 3 Girls and a Needle for sure. As a matter of fact, I'm booking my second appointment tomorrow, 8am. Oh yeah, I was in at 6am and out by 8:15 am!

I went to the salon around 2:30 and was told they stop taking people at 1:30. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth to not even want to try again.
