Fogo De Chao has this insane new all day happy hour menu at the bar. I think I like it better than their all you can eat menu! What drew me in is their $10 picahna burger. What left me wanting more is their $16 beef rib bone thing and their lobster and shrimp tacos. When you picture a burger in your head, a lot of places fall short of what that looks like. Like you either don't get a big piece of lettuce or you can't see the tomato from a visible area. Visibly, this burger looks like the ideal burger one would want with all the ingredients it should have. An added bonus is that this one is cooked with picahna instead of regular beef. Plus, it also comes with polenta fries. The bartender said a lot of people don't like the polenta fries so they upgrade to yucca instead. While I enjoyed the corn taste of the polenta fries, my friend said he didn't. For the beef rib bone, that thing was phenomenal. The meat was tender. There were bits you could scrape off the bone that were more charred. It came with I think a chimicchuri. That was just amazing. Then the lobster and shrimp tacos were really good too. I liked that they served them in lettuce as opposed to tortillas to cut down on the carb intake. While the artichoke spinach dip was good, I felt they went slightly heavy with the salt. Artichoke is already pretty salty so I think that could've been a little lighter on the salt side. I feel the prices for the all day happy hour menu were cheaper than going to like an Applebees or something, which is insane. But then again, for a restaurant like this to make a happy hour menu like that, I feel that restaurants overall may really be hurting as well. The service here is exceptionally good. The ambiance is really nice too because you're basically getting a fine dining environment at fast casual franchise prices, which is unreal. Definitely gonna make this a thing.

My parents and I arrived near the beginning of dinner service. Upon being seated, we were offered Caipirinhas with tableside bar service--fun! I got the passion fruit version, and it was full of refreshing lime, while the passion fruit syrup was equal parts tart and sweet. Perfect for a 92-degree summer day. The salad bar had all the usual suspects, with everything flavorful and well-presented. I do wish they listed common allergens on the food labels, as this would be especially helpful. We were offered tons of different meats (did you know they do chicken breast?), but the best, in my opinion, were the picanha and sirloin cuts. The restaurant filled in slowly as the night went on. Moises made sure my parents and I had a seamless experience. He provided excellent, attentive service throughout the evening and even engaged us in conversation about where we were visiting from. He brought us a beautifully decorated dessert; a thoughtful gesture and sweet touch to end the night!

Picanha burger. $10 on happy hour menu. YES!

OK friends, I found the BEST deal for a $10 burger in town!! It's gigantic and it's juicy! How's that for aptly used alliteration! It's the happy hour deal, and guess what, happy hour lasts from opening to close every day!!! These guys know how to extend a hour! They're on some kind of eternal time clock I think. Anyway, it's a freakin' great deal and it's a really good burger. If you can find a better burger this size for $10 bucks anywhere, I'd love to hear about it. I don't know what it weighs, but I'm guessing at least a half a pound, maybe more. I ain't a kiddin', it's huge! It's called the Picanha Burger. Maybe that means, freakin' huge in Brazil! I have a big appetite and I took almost half of it home. Not only that, they don't skimp on the toppings. Bookmark this place for the best burger deal in town! OK, why would i only give it four stars. Two words. Yucca fries. Ever had 'em? Don't bother. They are tasteless starch. Not worth even a single calorie. All i could taste was the oil they were fried in, and that wasn't too tasty either. Here's the super bummer, it's $4 extra for the yuck fries. #NotWorthIt. You can get regular fries as part of the deal with the $10 burger for no extra charge. Do that. No yuck fries for you. You'll thank me for it. You're welcome. The All Day Happy Hour Bar Fogo menu has a nice selection of $6 bar bites, sharable plates that are reasonably prices, and some carved at the table high end steaks that are priced way north of $100. Drink wise they have a selection of $10 cocktails. I had a Gold Rush. It was way too sweet. All the $10 cocktails seem to be on the sweet side. They also have $8 South American wine and $6 beer. Not bad! The service is great. Food is great (except for the yucca fries), drinks are great and so is the atmosphere. This is a perfect place to meet someone for a chat, a chomp and a cheer. How's that for an alliterated ending!

Service was slow they didn't check on us very often. Food was good. I usually have a positive experience here so it was just an off day. I'll come back again.

First time at Fogo de Chão and it did not disappoint! The food was incredible, and Rodrigo was an amazing server who made great recommendations. Great service, great atmosphere, and I'll definitely be coming back!

We went to Fogo de Chão for the first time on a weekday, and it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant was elegant and inviting, and the self-serve market table was one of the best I've ever had. The fruits were impeccably sweet, my favorites were the pineapple and persimmons, and the food was constantly being served fresh. As for the meats, they were flavorful and fresh. I did notice that some tables seemed to receive higher priority when it came to the crispier and more popular cuts. For example, the table next to us appeared to have a higher-tier option and was frequently served picanha before other meats reached our table. That said, I still really enjoyed the garlic beef, ribeye, sirloin, and picanha. Our server was excellent and checked on us often to make sure we were well taken care of. Parking-wise, valet was available for $15, but we chose street parking, which only cost a few dollars. Overall, this was my first Brazilian barbecue experience, and I had a great time. I would definitely recommend it and can see myself returning in the future!

Our party of 12 dined there yesterday for a lunchtime birthday party. All in all it was a nice, memorable occasion. There were a few issues that guests brought up after the meal but I still give it five stars. One guest told me she was disappointed that the servers began by bringing out one chicken dish after another. She felt that the meat could have come first. This was not my opinion and I recall the waitress asked us several times, at the end of our meal, if we wanted more meat. I guess one could argue that we got filled up on chicken and wanted less meat. But I was completely satisfied. This is the third Fogo I've attended and it was, by far, the best. Seating was very comfortable and the restaurant was elegant. The servers and waitress were very attentive. The buffet was really good. I went back three times and I could have made it my entire meal. Everything in the buffet looked great. Parking on their lot is valet only. We parked (closely) on the street without any problem and saved the valet fee. I highly recommend this location for regular dining or special occasions. There were two other large birthday parties at the same time as our reservation it wad obvious everyone was having a great time.

Love the atmosphere. Dined for lunch in the bar area as well watch the World Cup semi final match of France vs Spain. Spain Won. Enjoyed the Brazilian Empanadas, sliced filet mignon with chimichurri sauce, and a cheesecake brulee slice. All very good. Service was friendly and quick. Enjoyed my dining experience.

I don't know how this restaurant isn't more crowded or more popular. I've been to Fogo at this location at handful of times as well as a location in Houston, and Sherman Oaks. The quality of the food at the Market Bar has been top top notch each time. Now I don't quite eat like I used to, so I don't have the full meaty experience. Today we went for our anniversary , and I had the usual market bar, while my wife had the market bar plus the salmon fillet. They had freshly made Belgian waffles, and I have to say, they were one of the tastiest Belgian waffles I've ever tried. THey also had freshly cooked omelets but we didn't try those. Items I really enjoyed: fried plantains, the cheese bread, the tabouli, the veggies (raw and roasted), cheeses, etc. etc. I also had a Bloody Mary and wife had passion fruit mimosa. Both were amazing. If I wasn't DD, I might have had another. The service at Fogo has never ever disappointed at any location. Huge shout out today to Roni who was stellar and even comped us the dessert since it was a celebratory lunch!

Celebrating 28 beautiful years at Fogo! Location had valet there is street parking but it is a busy street. My partner got us the indulgent churrasco It was her first time at a Brazilian bbq! The location was legit a work of art! I went on a Tuesday and it was a fairly quiet night! Got drinks from the all day happy hour! They were so good! I had the gold rush and I wish I didn't have to drive or I'd order two! The lobster was so succulent however I'd totally get the crab cake again it was so yummy! The meats were so good! I was alittle disappointed no filet minion and only one pass around of picanha. Don't get me wrong I was full by the end. I just wish I got more value tbh just felt like they were just trying to fill me up on more pork and chicken this time around. Maybe because it wasn't that busy just kinda felt like we were offered the taste of Brazil menu thinking back on the selection of meats offered. Everything else was really good we got the molten lava cakes. Our server offered another dessert to take home which I taught was nice but tbh I'd rather maybe comp my drink as a birthday gesture since my dessert was already included with my meal. Our bill after tip and tax was 280$ Valet was 15$ Tbh for the price and my experience I will not be planning any future birthday celebrations with fogo. So pricey for what it is. Recommend just the cheaper options since that's all they walk around with even if you pay extra for the premium cuts. I also do not like how inconvenient their rewards program are. It was my birthday and my 25 dollar discount was not applied. I hate to write this review because I used to think I loved fogo.

    Several pieces of steaks.

Fogo de Chão Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Fogo de Chão

    How much regular coffee?

I thought it was like $3- $5. However, we had good relations with the server and got it for free. I would say the price you are paying to go in and eat if you brought your Starbucks coffee with you inside the restaurant, they likely wouldn't tell…

    Is outdoor seating available?

    No it is only indoor

Do you offer complimentary desert for birthdays?

Yes, they did that for me. But I guess it might vary by location. But you could ask the staff, and I bet the staff are very friendly.

    What are the brunch hours?

    Dinner Mon - Thu 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 5:00 PM - 10:30 PM…

What if one person wants the CHURRASCO EXPERIENCE and the other person only wants a entree plate can you pick that option?

    Yes you can

    Is there have AYCE menu?

Yes it's their Churrasco Experience section

Is the $15 lunch for market table AYCE?

As of feb 7, 2022 do they still have outdoor dining and how much is the churraso experience for lunch and how much for dinner?

On a 2 person party, can one person buy a salad bar and the other all meat and share plates?

    Definitely not!

Do u need vaccine cards to dine in?

No, you don't need to show your card but they require masks when walking around restaurant or when you walk up to the buffet area.

As of June 10, 2021 is their outdoor dining still a tent with lights in their parking lot? How much is their AYCE for dinner? Do they still have the market table?

We were just there on Tuesday to celebrate my sister's birthday and they had outdoor seating but we opted for indoor dining. The fogo experience dinner price is about $65 the market table was also available again!…

Is the salad bar open yet?

Yes! The market bar is open, buffet style. Just use a different plate each time you visit. ☺️

Is the table market open( salad bar)? And do they carve meats at table?

    Yes & yes !

Vocês tem rodício como no Brasil?

    Sim!

Are you still offering the pre-Covid "lunch buffet special" in some form, perhaps using servers rather than self service?

Yes. No server. It is self service

How much is it for lunch, dinner & brunch?

$100 average a person for the endless meats. We went for dinner.

How should we dress to go here? Would jeans and a button up shirt for a guy be appropriate?

You can get away with that. I personally prefer to wear a suit, but a button-up shirt and jeans should be okay.

    Is indoor dining open?

No, it was patio dining only as of 2/4/21.

Is it kid friendly? My daughter is a a year and a half old.

If your kid is disciplined you shouldn't have any issue. If you cannot control your kid and they have a tendency to run around and touch everything I wouldn't bring them.

How do they go around serving meats that have been around other tables? Is that safe during Covid?

Last time we were there, they changed the format so that you request the meats you want. They then bring a serving just for your table.

It felt like a proper entree, but there was more meat coming. We then shared an 11 oz ribeye w/ grilled broccolini and ended with the chocolate cake. In conclusion, we got so much food. We came to Matū for the Dinner for Two, and everything we were served was impeccable. The seasoning was spot on, the salt level was perfect, and every cut of meat was cooked beautifully. I'm a big fan of my steak on the rarer side, and Matū absolutely delivered. The braised beef cheek was probably the highlight of the night for me. It was unbelievably tender, rich, and one of the most memorable bites of the meal. After finishing the Dinner for Two, which really showcased the quality of the meat, we decided to split a cheesesteak since "that's what they're known for." When it arrived, it looked incredible. Unfortunately, that's where the excitement ended for me. The meat tasted oddly oily. I'm not sure if it was the cut, the preparation, or even the cheese, but it came across as heavy and greasy compared to the beautifully simple, clean flavors of the steak dinner. It was also underseasoned, and I found myself tasting the sesame seeds on the bread more than the filling itself. The chips were fresh and crunchy at first, but they lost their texture surprisingly quickly, so eat those immediately. Overall, I absolutely loved the steaks, sides, and cocktails, and I'll happily be back for those. But as for the cheesesteak? Once was more than enough.

We walked around and looked at different restaurants. When we found Pampas we noticed that you grab a tray and walk around and self serve the different food items that were offered. When you get to the meat section you tell the person working behind the counter what you would like, they cut off the meat, put it on the plate and you move on. They weigh your plate and then you pay. For my meal I tried several different types of meat, a stew, mashed potatoes, rice, pasta, and rolls. It was a lot of food and very filling. The meat was definitely the best part of the meal. I chose to get two different types of beef, a serving of stew, and some chicken. Both the beef and the chicken were tender and full of flavor. The stew was delicious. I actually served it over my rice and mixed it together for added texture. The pasta and the rice were al dente and honestly I would have preferred them to be a little more tender than firm. The potatoes were good. They had a slightly salty flavor and were smooth. The rolls were good as they were small, with a semi crispy exterior and a soft interior. Overall Pampas Grill is located in a cool outdoor atmosphere. It has friendly service and the food was very filling and flavorful.

The portions were good, and the meat had a nice grilled flavor. They also had a few different side dishes, which was nice. However, my biggest issue was that everything was very salty. I'm not sure if they over-season their food, but the salt really overpowered the flavors. I'm glad we finally stopped by and tried it, but the saltiness was definitely the biggest takeaway from our visit.

We usually do takeout, but sitting down was nice too! There's plenty of parking, so if you're not within walking distance you can drive into the lot. The food is okay, but not up to standards, especially for the price. The service is great. The staff is very nice--that would be the staff behind the buffet and counter. I have no idea who takes care of the tables. We had to clean our own table. There was not a clean one there. The seating is comfortable. The place is pretty clean, but not close to great. Parking is super easy in the Culver Center lot. It is located in an outdoor mall. My husband ordered a lot of the meat, which they claim is great. It is not. It is dry and tough. Most of his plate was left full. Their sirloin cap, chicken, lamb, and garlic beef were just not good. As you can see my the photo of what I got, I knew this was not going to be good by looking at it. So, I had rolls, rice, chicken and potatoes. The rolls were dry and would have been great, had they been fresh. They were not. The rice was fine. The chicken was okay. For this price this place should be great. It is not, so don't bother.

The meat selection was limited but good enough for a casual meal: picanha, alcatra, various types of chicken, and sausage. The salad bar was well-stocked, and the hot dish section offered a great variety of options such as garlic rice, fried rice, spaghetti, stroganoff, black beans, plantains, steamed veggies, and collard greens. It had everything we needed for a hearty Brazilian lunch. The medium-rare picanha was buttery and perfectly salty. The garlic chicken was juicy and well seasoned. Collard greens were savory, tender, and nicely crunchy. The potato salad, beets and corn were nicely fresh. The price was reasonable for the location (after all, it is Century City) and the food was perfect for a quick and enjoyable lunch. Highly recommended.

Our servers were incredibly attentive throughout the entire meal without ever feeling overbearing. We had the Ribeye and the Herb Roasted Branzino. Both were good and prepared well, although for me, the food itself was more good than exceptional. Where Mastro's really stood out was the overall experience and level of service. And then there was the Signature Warm Butter Cake. That butter cake was absolutely to die for. Easily the highlight of the meal and honestly worth the visit on its own. Warm, rich, indulgent, and one of those desserts you're still thinking about after you leave. I would go back just for the butter cake. Five stars for that dessert alone.
