    Tomato, parmesan, oregano with Stracciatella
    John M.

Brighter, big window sister to Rolf and Daughters, this has a neighborhood bar feel, but has good, full service, with a full bar and exotic wine list. The Beef Tartare maybe has too many toppings and the toast is tough. The Tomato, Parmesan, Oregano pizza is just that, nothing else, on a thin crust. The Stracciatella add on helps, but doesn't save burn taste from the crust. Over priced for what it is.

Great food, excellent service , ambiance and mediocre drinks. Dined here with a group of friends and service was spectacular. They helped elect and accommodated a menu to everyone's liking, We sampled a great portion of the menu and it all was really good. Really enjoyed the pizzas, asparagus and spring greens salad. The desserts were delicious. My favorite was the rhubarb sherbet with the buckwheat pizelle. The inside is warm, welcoming and lots of greenery. They have a large bar area and dining inside and outside. Street parking, parking out front and a paid lot across the street makes parking easy to access. Definitely recommend a visit.

This is a must go to restaurant in Nashville! We ordered the focaccia and olives to start and they were so good. The focaccia is a must get. We also got the citrus salad which was good. For the main we had the margarita pizza which was off menu but really good. For dessert we got the tiramisu which was a skip for us. It wasn't authentic and seemed like it wasn't made with lady fingers. The service was great and the server was so attentive. The restaurant was super cute on the inside as well. Even tho the tiramisu was a miss everything else was super amazing.

Love this neighborhood restaurant. In town for a couple nights and walked from my rental home. Great wine, salad, fish and still dreaming about the chocolate sorbet dessert with hazelnuts! Please go here!

Excellent meal with family. Right off the service was excellent. The greeter was friendly and interactive. The server came to our table promptly and let us know we could order from the happy hour menu for the next 5 minutes. (I love a deal as much as the next guy:) We ordered our appetizers from the happy hour choices and dinner off the main menu. The bottle of wine came from the happy hour menu and was a good one. We ordered multiple pizzas to share for dinner plus all the vegetable plates. The kale salad was a favorite here. The fall squash pizza is very good and the lamb pizza added spice to the meal. After all this we were full so no dessert this time. I am impressed with the level of service we received, it made for an excellent experience. Thanks.

Overall, the food was just okay. Maybe it was overhyped, but it didn't hit the bar for me. They're known for their clam pizza which was interesting, but I wouldn't get it again. It was too wet for the crust and the clam overpowered everything else on it. The other pizzas were fine, but nothing blew me away. The crust was better on the pizzas I will point out. The vegetables were very good, the salads were refreshing and I appreciate a good kale salad. The appetizers were alright, not great but okay. Service was good, we weren't rushed and she was friendly. Ambiance was nice, and the bar looked cool. I love a good exposed brick wall. Overall, you can find better food around, but this was okay.

Folk was amazing! Such a calm, cool atmosphere and they let us enjoy our dinner for a few hours. Normally we are rushed out of places in Nashville but this we were able to enjoy the amazing food & drink. The service was 10/10.

Excellent meal in Nashville. When full, this restaurant could get quite noisy but the food is solid. MUST GET: - beef tartar - focaccia bread. Slightly crunchy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside straciatella snack SOLID: - Sausage pizza - chicken liver pate - snap pea: crunchy but didn't care for the sauce - asparagus - nice touch of breadcrumb OK DISHES - littleneck clam pizza - bigeye tuna appetizer - pork coppa. That was the dish that most the table loved the most but I kept on thinking about pork snitzel from Australia - tiramisu SKIP: - Onion snack - molten chocolate cake On drinks, I liked the orange gemurztraminer wine but didn't like the willemette pinot noir on the menu

I can't believe it took us so long to go to folk. I've been hearing about it for years and we finally went over the summer and it was better than I could have hoped. The cocktails were extremely unique and so tasty and my street corn pizza with shishito peppers was exactly what I wanted from a street corn pizza. Slightly spicy with a great crunch. I also got the heirloom tomatoes which is devoured before I could get a photo. We can't wait to go back this winter for a new menu and experience

Blown away and need to go back next time to try the even more! Situated right in a neighborhood, the stand alone building is cozy and inviting. The menu is broken down so that top portions can be shared with the table, middle section is larger entrees, and the incredible pizzas at the bottom. Place your complete order and the servers will course out the dishes perfectly. The bar seating is very trendy, but I recommended a reservation in the dining area with a view of the kitchen. The famous Clam Pie is 100% worth it. We ended the night with the tiramisu - another must have!!!!

This spot has truly never been a let down for us and is our go-to date night spot. We love their other location Rolf & Daughters, same chef, level of excellence, and intention. We order the littleneck clam pizza every. time. without hesitation. And anyone we've brought with us who visits into town, they loooove. We love grabbing a small plate and two entrees dishes to share, as the pizza to split is filling while getting to enjoy some of their other seasonal specials. Drinks are incredible, servers and staff are so friendly and skilled. The vibes are a faaavorite, really cant get a bad table. 12/10 recommend!

Came here a while ago with a reservation on a Saturday. We were seated at high table near the window which was nice. The restaurant was otherwise pretty packed which had us super excited for a good meal. We wanted to taste a little bit of everything so my friend and I split a few items. To start we had the stracciatella which came with bread. The bread was fresh out of the oven and the stracciatella was stringy and delicious. We also had Caesar salad. This was super crispy and fresh with amazing toppings that added another layer of crunch. We then had the clam pizza which we heard is a specialty of the restaurant. We were somewhat disappointed by this though. We did not feel like the clam fit in well with the other ingredients on the pizza and overall just thought it was strange. We also had the Chicken Milanese. This was well breaded and fried/baked, but the sauce on top was a bit overpowering for the dish and didn't mix well with the tomatoes and chicken. Finally, we had the tiramisu which we loved as it was super light and fluffy. Overall, had just an okay experience here. Was a bit disappointed by the mains here and I'm not sure I'd come back to try more in the future.

Made a reservation to dine with a few colleagues from work while visiting Nashville. We were impacted by flight delays and the restaurant was friendly and accommodating when I called to modify the time and number of guests for the reservation. McKenzie was our server - very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We enjoyed cocktails and mocktails and 6-7 shared items from the menu. Everting was great. The clam pizza was the least favorite- unique taste- but was still good. Focaccia, stracciatella. Olives, snap peas were fantastic, pizza. Loved the chicken Milanese. Nice vibe and decor. Easy free street parking. Great option for a group to share all kinds of food.

When I walked in I, immediately, thought of Haven (RIP https://www.yelp.com/biz/haven-miami-beach-2). From the LED wall to the music to the drinks to the vibe... I didn't feel like I was in Nashville anymore. the back corner stands out and gives Middle Tennesseans something that's not readily available in this area. If you're in the mood for a little coastal cosmopolitanness (is that word? It's not a word), the back corner is about to be your new favorite place. The neighborhood gets things moving in the right direction. For as much as Germantown has (scenic streets, fancy high rises, coffee, good eats) it didn't have a nightlife destination. Putting one here makes a lot of sense. Building off the 5th & Taylor imprint, the back corner starts off fancy (but not pretentious) and builds to memorable. Upon entry, the first thing you notice is the LED wall and stage. With a changing display of electronic intoxication, you're drawn into a world far away from Lower Broad. If you can break your gaze away from the stage, you'll notice the upper and lower lounge seating. Intimate, cozy and a bit mysterious, the seating at the back corner lets you decide whether you want to be front & center or if you're rather sit back and take it all in. You can be as public or private as you'd like. If indoor seating isn't your thing, make your way outside to enjoy the fire pit and Germantown night sky. Just do us all a favor and refrain from smoking. Seeing cigarette butts along the patio or by (in??) the fire pit is not sexy and very off-brand. All the above said and noted, the back corner is not a huge space -- which is a plus and minus. It's a plus because it never becomes the cavernous mess of bass and desperation. The minus is crowds gonna crowd and with a lot of people, the space will be tight. I don't know how to fix that. I suppose a velvet rope and waitlist will keep crowds at bay but neither feels very Nashville. Hmm... Another minus (relating to the size) is that there's only one bar. One bar in a space this cool is a bit tight. I know the space behind the bar isn't huge but I would staff it with 3 bartenders at a time so as to keep up with the crowd. Because you're going to want to drink. A lot. The cocktail program at the back corner is a bit unusual for Nashville -- and very Miami. Expect rum, colors and a boozy punch. Actually, the menu could use a punch. Get on that, tbc. Re drink progression... start with the gimlet. It's pretty to look at and refreshing to drink. All the mixers, juices, etc. are made in house so you're getting quality fare. From there, hit the No. 4 and, then, the No. 2. If you're still upright, drink some water. Water? Who am I kidding? Cocktails! You're in Miami, [redacted]! Well, sorta. If you need some noshes, 5th & Taylor is serving up bites. Don't come here for dinner. Who eats food? Let the music and booze nourish your body. As perfect as the back corner is for DJ sets, live music (this *is* Nashville, after all) works as well. the back corner isn't the Downtown dance club people have wanted for a (looooong) while. But it is a welcome addition to the city's nightlife scene and, very possibly, you're new favorite place to go. Bienvenidos a Nashville.

Parking was easy, with plenty of street parking nearby. We had a 5 p.m. reservation and arrived around 4:52. The doors were locked, and although an employee was standing just inside, we were asked to wait outside until exactly 5. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal, but it was about 95 degrees, I'm eight months pregnant, and we had three young kids with us. That wasn't a great first impression, and I think if reservations begin at 5, guests should be able to come inside a few minutes early. Once the doors opened, we were seated promptly. They had a high chair ready for our youngest, and our server was excellent throughout the meal. The restaurant has a trendy, upscale atmosphere, and while our oldest did great, I think it's a better fit for adults than families with very young children. One thing I really appreciated was that when we realized they only had glass cups available, our server found paper coffee cups for the kids. It was a small gesture that made the meal much less stressful. The sausage biscuits are still outstanding and easily my favorite item on the menu. The steak was good, but I wasn't impressed with the Cobb salad. Our kids shared the fried chicken and mac and cheese, and my husband ordered the pot roast. Our bill came to about $190 before tip. Overall, the meal was good, but it didn't feel like the special dining experience I remembered from previous visits. Between the rough start, the prices, and food that was good but not particularly memorable, I don't see us returning anytime soon. The service was kind, but for this price point, I expected more.
