Our dinner at Sinatra Bar & Lounge was, without question, the best dining experience we had during our trip to Nashville. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Our server, Mark, was knowledgeable, attentive, and provided outstanding recommendations that made it difficult to choose what to order. We started with the Poached Pear with whipped goat cheese and prosciutto, which was a fantastic combination of sweet and savory flavors. Since we couldn't decide between the chef's evening specials, we ordered both. We enjoyed a flight of Australian Wagyu featuring a New York Strip, Ribeye, and Filet. Every cut was incredibly tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. They were accompanied by three different butter sauces that complemented each steak beautifully. My only suggestion would be to serve the butter in a dish that retains heat better, as it cooled and solidified fairly quickly. We also ordered the Lobster Pasta, which was absolutely outstanding. The dish was generously filled with lobster, and the sauce was rich, balanced, and perfectly complemented the pasta. Another standout was the Crispy Duck Confit Potatoes. They were perfectly seasoned, wonderfully crisp on the outside, and incredibly flavorful. To finish the evening, we enjoyed the Affogato, featuring mascarpone gelato topped with hot espresso. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. The only aspect that slightly detracted from the experience had nothing to do with the food or service. A large group seated a couple of tables away from us became extremely loud, making it difficult to enjoy the live musicians and the romantic atmosphere. If possible, seating larger parties farther from the live music or couples celebrating special occasions would help preserve the intimate ambiance that makes this restaurant so special. Overall, Sinatra Bar & Lounge exceeded our expectations in every way. Went here for a solo dinner after hearing the martinis were great. Bar has full service. Staff were very attentive and welcoming to me. I came when live music was happening, but there must've been a break in between sets. The music was great! It is a bit loud when there isn't music, but you can still hear conversations just fine. The space is very intimate. This would be a great celebration spot or a nicer "just cause." I ordered a dirty (Hendrick's) martini- it was great! I also got the chicken marsala. It was great- I wish I got more pasta. It was a large serving, but I still felt hungry. This probably wouldn't be the case if I ordered a side. read more

Going to call this 3.5 (if it were an option) and really need another visit, as it feels like it should be a five star spot, but the misses when I went were tough to accept. The good: atmosphere is probably 15/10. Truly exceptional. Love the dark, classic steakhouse feel, had no trouble getting a spot and settling in, and the live music is everything you'd want at a place named after Sinatra! The rest: food and drinks were fine, and overall service wasn't where it needs to be. Steak was cooked to temp, but it was oddly a bit tough (and was a filet, so that's hard). Cocktail was good...might've tried another if I'd been able. As it is, even though I noted to my server that I'd be ordering a wine with the meal, he didn't check in til I was nearly finished with my steak. Still got the wine, and clearly got the end of the bottle as there was almost as much sediment as wine. Server was friendly, just not attentive. The hostesses were great, as were the rest of the staff, I should note. Absolutely going to give this another try when back in town, as I can't imagine the many glowing reviews that led me to try it are all so off, and everyone is allowed an off night. My husband and I had only planned on having a pre-dinner cocktail here. The vibe and music were so great, we decided we wanted to stay for dinner. It was a Monday night in the middle of happy hour. The bar was packed but there were plenty of tables available. The hostess insisted the only table she had for us was right by the door, so we declined. I was a little disappointed considering seeing so many tables open at the time, but my husband insisted we stay anyway and just dine at the bar. I'm so glad we did! We started off with the ragu pappardelle which was outstanding. They split it into two bowls without us even asking, which was a nice touch. The flavor was incredible, both of us wish it would've been appropriate to lick our bowls lol Next we went for the 10oz Wagyu filet and the creamed corn. The steak came out very rare and undercooked. The bartender immediately took both plates from us and said they'd make a new one of each. We were enjoying the music and our bottle of wine, so it honestly didn't even bother us. The long haired chef came out to apologize, and our new perfectly cooked steak came out shortly after with a fresh bowl of creamed corn. I eat steak out quite often, and this was hands-down one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. It was so perfectly seasoned, every single bite was delicious and juicy. We rounded out our dinner with their dark chocolate gelato and it was the perfect finish. The check came and we were absolutely shocked to see HALF OFF our steak! What?! Visited Sinatra's last week with friends who are regulars, and it was my first time, loved it! The vibe is classic Italian with live music, elegant but still warm and welcoming. The service was fantastic too, so friendly and genuinely made us feel special the whole night. While we waited for the husbands to arrive, my friend and I grabbed seats at the bar and ordered the "Fly With Me" cocktail. So good and super refreshing, even in the winter. Once everyone arrived, we moved to a cozy corner table which was perfect. We started with a few appetizers (and of course some good wine). We shared the Wagyu sliders, the poached pear (absolutely incredible, my favorite!), and the meatballs. Everything paired with a bottle... okay, two bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon. I was really looking forward to this restaurant because I'm a huge fan of Frank Sinatra and Italian food, but the whole experience ended up being pretty disappointing. Our waiter was actually the highlight. He was kind, attentive, and handled everything professionally. I wish the food came anywhere close to his level of service. I started with the butternut squash soup. The flavor was nice, but it came out warm to cold. I didn't want to send it back, but soup should be hot, so that was the first sign things were off. For my main dish, I ordered the halibut. I love halibut, and the fish itself was cooked fine, but the marsala sauce was way too thick and didn't work with it at all. Halfway through the dish, I found a curly black hair in the corn on the plate. That pretty much ended my meal. I sent it back, and while the waiter apologized, I was already done at that point. The creamed corn on the side wasn't great either. It tasted more like a sweet corn chowder and didn't have much balance. The steaks (Oscar style) were cooked well, but that was honestly the only entrees that hit the mark. After the hair incident, the waiter brought out a dessert sampler with coffee to try to make things right. The coffee was cold and the desserts tasted fine, but not fresh. For how expensive this place is, the whole night felt underwhelming. The singer was good and the atmosphere is nice, but even the dress code felt inconsistent. The reservation said business casual, yet people were walking in wearing jeans, tennis shoes, and Uggs. If you're going to remind guests multiple times about a dress code, it should actually be enforced. I had high hopes and really wanted to love this place, but it just wasn't good. Celebrated my 60th Bday last night at the Sinatra Bar - what an AMAZING experience!!! Started the meal with the meatball appetizer (huge servings) and calamari. The meatballs were soo tender and the calamari was served with a delicious spicy aioli. Ordered the Waygu filet medium rare Oscar-Style - didn't need a knife to cut it and it was perfectly cooked!! Had it accompanied with their rich creamed spinach side. As one of Sinatra's songs "The Best Is Yet To Come" goes, dessert came next. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here, and Mason made it so special. At one point I asked him if he was the manager, and when responded, "no", I said, "you should be." From beginning to end, Mason made our anniversary a dinner to remember. The host stand was kind and welcoming and seated us at a great table. Our server Alex was extremely attentive and gave us great recommendations. The. Food. Was. Amazing. We started with the fried artichokes (which had the best marinara sauce I've ever tasted), the caprese salad which was a beautiful and creative presentation and super fresh. The star of the show was the pear stuffed with goat cheese. It's one of the best things I've ever tasted!!! It has a brown butter and prosciutto... just get it. Why did I wait so long to try this place!!??? For some reason I thought it was a cigar bar and I hate the smell of cigars so I never thought to even give it a try. But I am so glad I finally did. The restaurant itself was beautiful and and elegant. We walked in so we just sat at the bar and had our dinner there. We both ordered their version of expresso martini and it was really good and then we shared the rack of lamb with the confit potatoes and it was amazing. And we also got the carbonara pasta as well. The live music was a nice touch as well! We let them know in advance and were given the best table on the balcony overlooking the restaurant, directly across from the piano/singer, along with a champagne toast on the house--a really nice touch. Drinks included a Vesper and the Come Fly With Me, both classic and perfectly executed. The food exceeded expectations. The service is excellent and the food always gives you that "at home" feeling. They have live music and the performer is a reincarnated Frankie. The man can sing every song spot on. However, the atmosphere is a little loud and I had a hard time hearing my fiancée and the performer throughout the evening. For a restaurant like that I'd imagine a much quieter and intimate setting. Overflowing with Frank Sinatra songs- the lady singer was amazing. Did you know that Sinatra recorded over 1,000 songs in his career? There was a list of inventive cocktails. Also a "My Way" form for you to craft your own martini! Very clever. "My Way" is also my fave Sinatra song! We ordered several dishes and EVERY DISH WAS DELICIOUS! The Caesar salad with kale and romaine was the Best Caesar salad I ever had: well dressed, hint of anchovy, pickled red onions, showered with Parmesan! The Shrimp Francese with multiple colossal shrimps that were sautéed just right, with amazing crunch outside and tender inside, and spaghetti with lemon garlic butter sauce. The side of gourmet mushrooms had a great mixed variety of mushrooms, an unctuous light sautee, sprinkled with parsley and bread crumbs. The sirloin steak with garlic butter was tender and flavorful. My friend and I planned to swing by for happy hour drinks (4-6 PM), but thanks to Nashville traffic, we just missed it; however, that helped me venture out and try something new. Absolutely stunning and wonderful experience here. We did the dinner for two option they offer on Monday's for a birthday dinner for my husband and it was fantastic. We arrived early but were able to get a drink at the bar while we waited for our table. From the hostess to the bartenders to our server, everyone was so professional and very polite. Our drinks were delicious and the decor of the restaurant was beautiful, especially with the Christmas decorations up too. The dinner for two option comes with a champagne toast to start, a salad, an entree, sides and a dessert to share. The salad was a great start and portion size. I got the sea bass for my entree and it was my first time ever having that type of fish but it was amazing! My husband got the filet which was cooked perfectly and so flavorful especially with the truffle butter added to it. For dessert we got the cheesecake to share but they brought a flourless chocolate cake for his birthday as well. There was live music with a piano player and a singer throughout the night as well.
