ETC has many interesting clothing and one of a kind items that are almost impossible to resist from buying. On my recent visit, I found a really cool shirt, hoodie, and pants that screamed " buy me." But my budget was already stretched so I resisted and jogged down some mental notes to remind me for my next trip to ETC. I had to ask about the locks so talked to a staff person about them. She said couples or singles could purchase a lock for $35 and place the lock anywhere on the gate. Unauthorized locks would be cut off. It made for a nice art installation. I have seen this done on the Brooklyn Bridge in New York too.
