Very Shady! Brought in an older vehicle for collision repair. They took 2 weeks to assess that they could not source some parts, having never torn down the vehicle (didn't even pop the hood), but stated we were free to look for parts ourselves and be reimbursed. We then provided them a list of links where they could find the parts. Another week later, on a Friday evening and too late to find another shop, they call to tell us they're not allowed to open external links. We have the vehicle towed the following Monday after finding a shop that would do the work. Here's where it gets shady: Get a call from insurance a few days later that they're attempting to collect over $4000 for storage fees. They never provided us with a repair estimate. They did not claim the vehicle was totaled. They did not claim, nor did they disclose, any fees when we picked up the vehicle. They only claimed on the Friday evening after it sat for 3 weeks that they were unable to do any work. I was willing to let go of the 3 weeks wasted and the fact that even though this was a Toyota brought to a Toyota shop, they are not capable of sourcing parts outside of their internal network. I don't think I would come back. The people were very easy to work with and very accommodating. The problem was the quality of the work. The paint matched almost perfectly and upon initial inspection, looked good. However, when I got closer, there were several spots where it looked like dust had settled onto the wet paint. I didn't feel like I wanted to complain about it because I really didn't want to wait another month. I need my car. But if I didn't need it so soon, I'd have them repaint it. It's just unacceptable. Beware of having any repairs completed at Folsom Toyota Collision Center. Unfortunately for me I have had two separate vehicles repaired here over the past couple of months. Both repairs took excessive time to complete but this past one was ridiculous. As you can see in the pics below, it was very minor damage to the front bumper area by the headlight. Someone scrapped it while it was parked. The 1st estimate given was for approximately $2500 for the repair. Well of course when they started to do the repairs they stated that they found additional items which needed to be replaced. This was the exact same thing they did for the vehicle I had them repair prior to this one. The total cost ended up being $4500 to fix this small area. Not only was the cost ridiculous, but it took them almost 4 weeks to complete the repairs. Nothing but excuses on their part. Will never have anything repaired there again read more

I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment regarding the recent service I received at your collision center. Approximately three weeks ago, I brought my car to your establishment for repair work. However, upon picking up my vehicle, I was shocked to discover an unexpected 8" crack in my front windshield. This crack was not present when I initially dropped off my car. It is important to note that I had a minor chip in the windshield, which had been professionally filled three months ago. There was no indication of any further damage until I retrieved my car. To address this matter, I had a conversation with one of your managers, who, regrettably, refused to take any responsibility or offer a satisfactory solution. As a customer, it is reasonable to expect that my vehicle would be returned to me in the same condition as it was brought in. extremely poor customer service. my mother was told she "severely abused" her car because it had water spots on it. when asking about a sagging roof liner that wasn't sagging before repairs, we were told that it wasn't their fault (before even looking at it) and that we would have to wait hours for them to squeeze us in. we were told to prove it. take extensive pictures before leaving your car. read more

Over a month to repair a basic bumper shell and the car is still in pieces. I should have gone to Caliber Collision these guys do not have the operational chops to run a good business. AVOID THEM. Use your money else where. My Toyota Rav 4 was rear-end collision to rear right side of the car. The insurance company provided me a list of repair shops. I chose Folsom Lake Toyota Collision Center since Folsom Lake Toyota Collision Center is a Gold Class Recognition and it promises to restore my car to impeccable condition. Folsom Lake Toyota Collision Center also states Guaranteed Repair Timeline and promises my vehicle will look and drive like it's brand new again. HOWEVER, I am very disappointed with their quality of work and my car is uncompleted, mess, damaged and is unsafe to drive after repaired. 1. When I picked up my car, the left rear lamp was still damaged and broken. 2. Rear window on my lift gate was shaking heavily and was making loud noises when driving. 3. The rear right door was difficult to close because the door panel was installed incorrectly. The door edge guard was missing on the rear right door. 4. There are minor scratches all over my car causing by repairing process. 5. My car was very mess when picked up. There are residue of paint everywhere interior of my car, all seats, all doors, all carpets (floor mats), and so on. Folsom Lake Toyota Collision Center did not do INSPECTION on my car before I picked up. I need to do all inspection myself and I pointed out all issues in front of Rick from Folsom Lake Toyota Collision Center. However, he pushed me to take my car home with all these problems. He pushed me to sign the paper on Friday 01/03/2020 to get his check from insurance company. I want to leave my car at the Toyota Collision Center because it is uncompleted, unfinished and the car is still having issues that have not been fixed. Rick did not arrange me a car to drive home and he still forced me to take my unfinished, uncompleted, mess and unsafe car home with my little son. Since I had no choice, it was getting dark, and no car to drive home, I drove my unsafe car home with my little son. My son was scared the back window will fall down and the rear right door was difficult to close. Me and my son was vomiting many times whiling going home. Folsom Lake Toyota Collision Center's work is below standards. Their work is worst than any body shop. They should be removed from Gold Class Recognition. My beloved 2007 Toyota Corolla was in a 5 car accident on Mother's day. It was the middle car squashed between 2 SUV's. We could not get our insurance company to have anyone come and look at the car. We wanted verification that there was no way it could be repaired. My husband took pictures and off we went to Folsom Lake Collision. We were lucky enough to talk to James Glass who is an advisor there. He was awesome!!!!!! He took time out of his day to really look at the pictures and determine if the car was totalled. After buying my car from folsom lake Toyota I could hear a clunk every once in a while when I would brake or do sharp turns. So I brought my car here to there service center. I was first directed to a guy named Jim who wasnt all that friendly. I kinda got the vibe that maybe it was because I didnt buy a brand new car off the lot and purchased a used car and was coming in to get fixed an issue with a used car. After speaking with him I was then Introduced to Sammy. Right away she treated me totally different and treated me like she had time to hear what I was there to adress and possible get fixed on my recently bought SUV. I was very pleased with her service and I gladly left my car with them as she told me she would have it inspected and that if any safety issues with the car needed to be addressed that it would be. So after they found out what was wrong she went ahead and had them fix it free of cost. Some people say they dont like to buy used cars from dealerships because they cost more but things like this and being able to know that my car has nothing I need to worry about now makes it worth buying from a big dealership like folsom lake Toyota.
