We're very lucky to have this cute bagel shop in the community. Everything is baked fresh, and they have a great selection of options here. There's something for sweet or savory lovers. Their options of cream cheese are also amazing. Service is always fast, so don't let any long line discourage you. The quality of everything here is 5/5. I just sometimes find the value not always hitting the mark. Some days my bagel sandwiches have more substance inside, some times there's less. When they make your sandwiches hearty, the price is justified. When they don't put as much inside, it's hard to justify the value because you know you've gotten better made sandwiches. Their coffee is also very overpriced for what it is. It's not good enough to justify over $5 for a tiny iced coffee, especially when they're using a corporate brand coffee. Wish they'd find some local coffee, then the price would be more justified. Regardless, the taste is always spot on. Just wish they had hash browns! read more

Everything went great this time because yesterday we stopped at Pete's Grocery and I picked up my Tofutti cream cheese. Soy is the way to go if you are non-dairy and if you go to Whole Foods, please do not get tricked into the cashew or coconut or almond cream cheese, which is what they sell. My husband had an egg, sausage and cheese on an Everything bagel and I ordered a dry toasted bagel since the do not offer any vegan spreads. I found it! A decent bagel place that makes bagels that take me back to New York. County Farm is a small, local shop that makes a wide variety of bagels plus they also make good sandwiches. This unassuming spot is one of two locations (the other being in Wheaton) and the quality and variety is wonderful to see. They have sweet and savory bagels to choose from at a decent price. I haven't had a bagel I didn't like yet, but I am currently enamored with the Cheddar Jalapeno. If you thought the variety stopped with the bagels, you're mistaken. There's also quite the selection of sweet and savory cream cheeses. Apple cinnamon is delicious, but you can't go wrong with any of these flavors. I was looking up quick places to eat something small in between my games and Country Farm Bagels popped up. I can never say no to a bagel spot so on I went. Let me tell you that I was pleasantly surprised. The place is small with limited seating inside but they do have tables outside where you can sit and relax and eat your bagel. I got greeted as soon as I came in which gets me off to the right state of mind. They have a plethora of different kinds of bagels which is awesome in my book. I love to have a variety of choices! They also have a variety of different cream cheeses which makes it a little hard to choose but you can't go wrong with variety. I had Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bagel with Apple Cinnamon cream cheese and HOLY SNIKEY's that was mouth wateringly fantastic. With every bite it was an explosion of deliciousness. Then I also had a Turkey Cheddar Bacon sandwich on a Garlic bagel. I can't even describe that one because it was so good I don't think I ever put it down between bites. The garlic of the bagel topped with the turkey, bacon and cheddar made me have multiple food-gasms with every bite. This place is a must go to I promise you won't be dissappointed. read more

That's definitely a good sign! Service was quick for me - I placed my order at the front counter and received my veggie sandwich within 5 mins. I had the veggie sandwich on a toasted egg bagel. It was pretty good! It came with cream cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers and sprouts. It kept me full for hours, very satisfying. This spot can seat up to 10-15 people comfortably. They've got a lot here too- breakfast, lunch, drinks, snacks! There's a sign that said "be nice, everyone is understaffed" but they seemed like a well oiled machine! Always a nice reminder though... This rating is just for the service as we were not served any food. Drove 30 minutes out of our way to pick up some bagels for an elderly homebound neighbor that she preordered through an app, wanting them for Mother's Day. We left at 12:45 thinking they closed at their posted time of 2:00, but also tried calling several times as she mentioned they needed to be picked up at 1:00. With each call we kept getting a busy signal. We arrived about 1:20, relieved that the open sign was still on only to be rudely turned away by the server indicated they closed at 1:00 because of Mother's Day. We did explain that we tried calling to confirm closing time only to be turned away, and instead were advised to pick them up tomorrow before closing. Oh well. read more

I love a good bagel so was excited to see this place was close to our hotel and opened super early. I will say that their online pricing needs to be updated to match current pricing but the increase wasn't that much so didn't bother me. The impressive thing here is how many unique homemade spreads they offer. I didn't get to taste any as I went there to get one of their breakfast sandwiches. I got the sausage, egg and cheese. It is made to order of course as you get to pick which bagel you want. I choose the egg bagel. I did notice that they did not have any everything bagels which I thought was really strange with it's popularity. Maybe they sold out but I was there super early to imagine that. If they would have had that I would have gotten Ben a lox and bagel but he is specific on wanting it on an everything bagel. The staff was super nice and you could see it is frequented by locals. I over saw the owner talking with a guest outside and even knew their car and asked if it was new. That's pretty awesome. read more

My favorite place for a bagel sandwich or a dozen bagels. I grew up on this place and always find myself back in the area for County Farm. It's a perfect thing to grab and lay out a pic nic blanket in one of Wheaton/Winfield's many parks. Its definitely the best bagel place in the west suburbs. The service is courteous, and the ambiance inside is nice - though everyone there is basically there for take out. read more

They always greet you with a smile and sometimes the place is packed, but still they make sure you know you're appreciated! Prices are reasonable. If you buy a "lunch" type sandwich you get free chips. My husband really likes their chicken salad. They are generous with their sandwich fillings too. We visited this store at breakfast and at lunch (on different days). At times there is a line out the door! Large variety of bagels and other items at really good prices. Their breakfast bagel sandwiches are delicious and so are the lunch bagel sandwiches. They have two different kinds of veggie bagel sandwiches and both are excellent. The staff is hard working and get you served pretty quickly. Tip: if you pay by credit card and want to leave a tip, be sure to tell the cashier. Expectations were certainly exceeded here, "lox", stock and barrel. A small storefront in an unassuming strip mall. Line was almost out the door when I arrived. I was skeptical initially, I have to admit. So I ordered the item by which all bagel purveyors are judged: the lox sandwich. I chose the sesame bagel with the scallion shmear. This thing was as tall as the Empire State Building. Definitely did not skimp on shmear or lox. It had the requisite accoutrements: tomato, red onion, capers. Dill pickle on the side. Very well executed. Bagel was hearty enough to hold all the goodness together, but not an overwhelming amount of bread. With this place near home I don't think I'll ever have another Panera/Einstein or Dunkin bagel again. I stopped here after my overnight shift from a friend's recommendation that they have great bagel breakfast sandwiches. Oh boy was she right! I ordered a sausage, egg and cheddar on a garlic bagel. The garlic overpowered a bit but that was my choice. I will find the perfect combo. Bagel itself was excellent! A little bit of chew on the outside, soft and tender on the inside with excellent flavor. Eggs were cooked perfectly and sausage was generous and tasty. Service was welcoming, kind and efficient. Store is clean and cheerful with a few spots to sit both inside and out. Cash is appreciated but not required. I will definitely be back! I never give 5 stars unless I'm sure of consistency but I'm sure I'll be raising my review soon! I'm looking forward to more visits. read more

This place does have really good quality bagels, I'm not even a bagel person and I loved them. However when it gets busy the wait time is atrocious, expect to wait at least 15 min which to me is a little long especially for a small order. Also they don't list the prices for some things like a bagel with cream cheese or smoothies which makes ordering hard. Definitely not a cheap walk up breakfast spot either, you may struggle to get breakfast for 2 people for $20 which is just unbelievable. All in all good place may try going for lunch but not as good as it could be. read more
