I brought my iPhone 12 Pro in to have the back glass replaced (badly cracked each time, yeah I suck) and to have a new battery installed. Every single guy I've interacted with has been awesome. They are very friendly, work quickly, care about the customers and are VERY accommodating. HOW accommodating you might ask? Well I brought my phone in yesterday to have the back glass and battery replaced. They were able to fix the back glass no problem but did not have the battery at the north park location so they asked to come in tomorrow. I mentioned that I wouldn't make it by closing because of my work commute. Well that didn't deter them from being awesome at all. Not only did Miguel, from the downtown shop, bring the battery up from his store, but he showed up at the north park location 30 minutes after closing AND replaced the battery for me. I choose to support local businesses and I am MORE than happy to spend some time writing up a review (here and on google) for great people behind a great local small business. When we came in the next day to get the phone, the main gentleman who helped us very thoroughly explained what he was doing when he went through the verification steps to make sure the screen and phone worked properly. He and all his coworkers were very kind and professional, not only with us, but with every customer we saw come through while we were there - including a very very difficult one. On the vendor website, it says that they will come to your house for an in-house repair. This is perfect for me because I am in a wheelchair, and the Surface Studio Pro 2 Desktop is Microsoft's heaviest computer. Their online appointment system was not working, so I called the downtown location first; they referred me to the Midway location. The Midway location confirmed that they do, in fact, have the ability to do in-house calls, but only if you have an insurance contract with Asurion. Otherwise, too bad. Not for any amount of money or to help out an old man in a wheelchair, will they honor their commitment and advertisement. That is just plain shameful. Shame on you & Happy Thanksgiving.

Out of all of downtown San Diego's repair that I asked and called, this one was the most affordable!! He had no problem getting a new screen for my switch and the fix time was so fast probably a day or two to get it fixed. The service was so amazing, no questions asked and was so quick. Beware these major side effects just happened to me on an iPhone 12 (see attached )and almost 200$…read morelater I have major buyers remorse. The side effects are far worse than the minor crack I had. Weigh your options carefully. Other side effects include loss of water resistance and strength of screen. I should have done my research first but this was not disclosed by the staff other than a little printed disclaimer on the side of POS that I read after the repair started while I was waiting. This was not disclosed at time of intake and transaction. I am surprised by all the positive reviews. Yes it was installed quickly and cleanly but the product is inferior and expensive and the impact to the phone's performance is continuous and significant. When I asked the staff about this, after the the repair, I was then told I could replace it with actual apple glass if I was not happy with it but the material alone of that is $250 +labor (while this is a crazy price, the option was never even offered up front ) Not sure where to go from here ... probably just eagerly wait for my next phone upgrade in 1 year with an inferior product in hand...
