The other told me that basically they did not want to transport me to the hospital via the ambulance because they thought it was a waste of their time. After my pain did not let up, I got in my car and painstakingly drove myself to the hospital. There, the doctor informed me that my gallbladder was infected and I needed to undergo surgery asap. Driving myself to the hospital endangered me as well as every other driver on the road. Moreover, had I listened to the so-called "professional" paramedics, I would not have gone to the hospital and might have suffered serious damage, even death. I called to complain, and the paramedics' supervisor heard me out. I appreciate that, but he seemed more concerned that the paramedics did not follow procedure and administer a field EKG than that the [white, male] paramedics blatantly disrespected me. I will never use this service again, nor recommend it to anyone I care for. Moreover, I very much hope that they clean up their sexist act. Hey guys, guess what? Sometimes women actually have real problems. This is why people, particularly women, die of completely preventable causes--the medical pseudo-professionals we rely on for our care refuse to take us seriously.

But when the fire inspectors actually asked us to put in couple of more sprinklers, he charged us 20% of the cost of the original invoice to add 2 extra sprinklers, So my advice with them is make sure you get it in writing as to how much they will charge for additional sprinklers. Both the owners were extremely rude and threatened that they will make it hard for us if they wanted (I am assuming it is because they are buddies with the fire department). Also, they took advantage of the fact that we could not delay the project any further and had to get it done.

It was a new construction at the time. I recently called them for a repair because one of the sprinkler heads started dripping. It was a slow leak in the hallway. The repair service was excellent and the technician they sent was very nice. He came on short notice and said that he is based on the Peninsula near where I live so he was able to come same day. What a relief! He even followed up the next day to be sure that everything was still Ok. Some of the sprinkler heads from 20 years ago have been recalled (no fault of this company), so once in a blue moon one of them will spring a leak. Turn off the main water to your house if it's a major leak to protect the floors. You can't turn off the water to the sprinkler system only - you need to turn off the entire water to the house (shut-off valve should be around the side or front of your house) until someone from this company can come out.
