Craved sushi on a Friday night and chose Fontana after reading the reviews. I really enjoyed my sushi--sweet potato roll and king park roll. Delicious! My partner enjoyed his chicken fried rice. Service was good and friendly. I knocked off a star because I had a glass of wine that I really didn't enjoy. The Chardonnay was overly sweet and actually made me sick to my stomach. Also, we sat at the sushi bar which was a little busier than I expected (in terms of plates being passed over our shoulders to go to other tables). Wonderful sushi lunch spot ! Parking is easy in the large shopping center lot . Walked in and was seated immediately, ordered 2 fountain drinks and chose off the given menu. Beef teriyaki bento lunch, Fuji roll, veggie egg rolls. The restaurant is small /medium size where it can seat about 35 people , intimate setting. Very kind customer service. The flow of food service was perfect , drinks were brought out to sip while looking over the menu. As for my sushi places , you write down on an order sheet what kind of sushi you want and how many orders of it. Once we ordered it took just a few minutes and I was brought out my salad and soup. As I was just about finished with that , the eggrolls came out and then the Bento box and sushi arrived. A total waiting time of about 10 minutes? All of the sushi and items were very delicious. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating. We order the California rolls, shrimp tempura rolls, salmon rolls and various sushi. The California rolls hands down are my sons number one favorite from Fontana. They love the tempura rolls too. Hubs and I aren't picky but love what we order from here. Everything is fresh. Really great sushi. For some reason I stop here when coming home from DIA airport as this neighborhood is off the toll road. In the spring/summer they have a nice patio that we bring our dog to. The rolls are fresh and delicious. The service is fast and friendly. When they box up to-go orders it is done with flair (and flowers). It is pretty small inside and it can be a little stinky (fishy) near the back so try to sit in the front. read more

Over the weekend I got super sick, we will leave out the what, but regardless I didn't get my sushi fix. Major disappointment right!? Monday comes and I'm required to rest in bed. He got me all my favorites and for 15 mins I was the happiest girl in earth. Sometimes sushi take out seems scary but Fontana did thus justice. I had a Philly roll, spicy tuna, and an avocado/salmon roll. Nothing too crazy just to make sure what I was dealing with health wise could handle it. Needless to say none of those rolls stood a chance. Thanks Fontana sushi for making a sick girl feel better for even a brief moment. Their fish is so fresh and absolutely delicious. I've tried almost every roll on their menu and my favorite changes every single time but at this very moment, it's the Naruto Roll. They customized a sushi roll based on our requests. We ordered the love boat for the table and a side of seaweed salad. The sushi tasted fresh and the salad was good. The miso soup they give to you with the meal was okay (I didn't go for the miso soup, I just cared about the sushi). The items I liked the most were the sashimi and the summer roll (tempura shrimp, yellowtail, avocado). The pricing is pretty standard for a decent sushi place.
