All in all it was very disappointing. The ginger dressing on the salad was watery. The hibachi entree itself was quite bland. We recently visited Sunrise and had a delicious dinner. Service was quick and friendly. Our water glasses were never empty and plates were quickly removed. I ordered a cup of the egg drop soup which was really good. It had corn kernels which was unexpected but nice surprise. I ordered the Tung Ting Jumbo Shrimp which was delicious. My family ordered the Orange Chicken which they enjoyed. All dinners were large portions and we each had leftovers for 1-2 more meals. read more

This is a good spot for locals to grab a weeknight takeaway dinner, or dine in to indulge in some sushi. They offer an extensive menu from Chinese to Thai to hibachi; they've got pretty much all your food cravings covered. I personally would stick to their stir-fried Chinese dishes; the sushi is pretty decent. The restaurant itself is clean and tidy, from the looks of it, it may have been recently renovated. Love coming here. It's close to our house and we get great Chinese food. I forgot to take pictures. We had the General Tso chicken, pu pu plater, and heat roll. The roll and plater were delicious. The General Tso chicken was ok. Seemed to be missing some heat but it's was still good. My favorite is still their low mein. Sooo good. They just reopened and it feels great to come back. The staff were very attentive and polite. The atmosphere didn't change much but it's still comfortable and open. Dine in or order out, you can't make a wrong decision here. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. Never come here on Christmas. Ordered for pick up, was told an hour for the wait. When got there to pick up, they were so disorganized, nothing was ready. Was told about 20 more minutes. After 15 minutes, was told it would be another hour at least. Needless to say, order was cancelled. They were prioritizing the in person diners, and neglecting the phone in orders. They said so themselves. There were many others inside waiting for their order, upset with a misquoted pick up time. Great place! My friend took me here for the first time and it was fantastic. Service was quick and food came looking so sweet. It was a chill environment, music wasn't loud which at first I found odd but soon appreciated after feeling grateful to spend time with friends and talk! First time back since the fire. Was really disappointed. The sesame chicken was tough..the pork chow fun was ok...not the best that I have had. Went into the restaurant to order take out. The girl at the register was apparently having a bad day. Not friendly and certainly not welcoming! We won't be going back anytime soon. Hooangs palace is is far superior to this place. So sad. We stopped in for dinner and have had their hot dishes before and opted for sushi this time around. We shared Seaweed Salad, Miso Soup, and two rolls. The food was all good and came out quickly. The waitstaff was doing a good job - and I have to give them credit, there was a table of ladies that were incredibly drunk, vulgar and rude. The staff was doing the best they could trying to keep that table happy so they didn't cause more of a scene, unfortunately everyone else in the restaurant was uncomfortable, and one table even left without ordering. Other than that, the restaurant is cute with both bar and booth seating. Few restaurants are good at both sushi and hot plates, but Sunrise does do a good job at both which means they offer something for everyone. read more

Came into here on a whim and were disappointed until we saw the reviews and it reset our expectations. We got the miso soup and the tofu was cold almost as if it was frozen. Got the beef fried rice and it was lacking flavor and the peas were still cold. Note that the fried rice portion is massive. As for the sushi, I don't have any real complaints. Decent portion size and the fish was fine in flavor and texture. I don't think I would come back but in a pinch this place is just ok. Definitely not worth the cost of what they are charging. Ordered from them every weekend. Last weekend our entire tray of sushi was spilled except separate California rolls. Today they missed our sweet potatoes sushi rolls. When I called some type of owner Vicky claimed she packed it. She denied the fact sushi was missing. She actually refused to believe me. I told her have your driver stand and check the stuff you send. She cussed at me, refused to believe me on missing sushi. We had 3 issues after ordering every weekend and she denied the truth, cussed at me, and then told me how I was not a welcomed customer anymore. Vicky is actually a lying nightmare. Missing sweet potatoes rolls and get cussed at. Terrible customer service. Actually insane, idk if she was bitter because last weekend...I waited with the bag of sushi all over the bag. Vicky is a nightmare. And we are done supporting this nightmare. Vicky you should not deal with customers. Delicious and well cooked meal. We usually get takeout from this restaurant. We have not eaten on site since the 2023 remodel. WOW! What a delight! Hibachi shrimp and Singapore Mei Fun were delicious! We moved to this neighborhood 2 years ago and eat here once or twice a month, but these 2 dishes will now be added to the 'Favorites' list. Sunday afternoon, we expect slow service in any restaurant. While staffing was obviously light, service was not inattentive. Food was well cooked and when it arrived, it was very hot and well displayed. I went yesterday to eat with my husband and there was this big foreheaded Asian woman who was super rude to us and made us wait for so long for the food.
