The food was super tasty and came out hot and fresh! My partner and I came for lunch and it was affordable and a good portion size. The restaurant was clean and nice. The staff were great. The gentleman at the counter greeted us when we came in, brought our food, and anything else we needed. Would definitely recommend. We will be back!

Such a sweet little place. We got the Beef Ramen, Miso Udon, and Salmon Bento. All were great, simple meals but very tasty and filling.

We stopped for dinner on weekday night and were the only customers eating there. The shop is run by a super nice couple who was very attentive. I ended up trying their Beef Hot Pot tofu stew. I think I just had more expectations that it would be more like the other tofu stews I have tried. The tofu used was firm tofu instead of silken and the broth seemed more savory, almost like a ramen broth instead of being lighter. I would consider coming back again but maybe trying another dish.

I have enjoyed eating at Sakura for many years. First, the owners are wonderful. I love seeing a couple run a restaurant all by themselves. Then, the food has been great! My favorite is the katsu chicken bento box or the bibimbap. You can't go wrong with those. I had the ramen tonight for the first time and thought it was very good. Try this out!!

Family owned, very warm and inviting. Bento and ramen is packed with flavor and the broth is among the best around. They are understaffed, so please be kind and patient but like others, we were willing to wait.

We came here for Valentine's dinner and it's really good food for a cheap prices however theres no table service, you order at the counter and then they'll bring it out later. They also don't Serve alcohol. Anyway all food was good so no complaints.

That's a pretty strong endorsement. Also the interior of the restaurant was fairly modern and clean. For anyone unfamiliar with it, soondae (순대) is a traditional Korean blood sausage made by stuffing pork or beef intestines with a mixture of blood, glass noodles, rice or starch, and seasonings. It's one of Korea's most popular street foods and is typically enjoyed with salt or a dipping sauce. One thing to know before you go: this restaurant specializes in soup-based dishes. Every entrée revolves around soup, including the bulgogi. I had never seen bulgogi served in a broth before, so it was a pleasant surprise for both my boyfriend and me. Most of the soups also included clear glass noodles and came in a wide variety of combinations, so there were plenty of options to choose from. One detail I really appreciated was their takeout packaging. If you have leftovers, they use a professional heat-sealing machine that applies a thin plastic seal over the container before the lid goes on. It's a thoughtful touch that keeps the soup leak-proof and makes transporting leftovers much easier. If you're craving authentic Korean comfort food--especially soondae soup--this place is definitely worth a visit.

However, I was very pleasantly surprised at the ambiance, the food, the drinks, and the warmth of the owner! We walked in Thursday night at 11pm. It was one of the only Asian restaurants in the area still open after our flight landed. As expected, the customers were sparse save for 2-3 tables of diners. The interior was immediately green flags - l loved the decor and wood tones. It felt like I was in Korea! The menu is your typical pocha fare - soups, Korean pancakes, army stew, KBBQ meats. We ordered the jalapeño soy chicken wings, volcano pork, and the kimchi fried rice. My favorite was the chicken wings, really crunchy with good flavor and the wings were decently sized. The volcano pork came over a fire burner and cooked at our table. It was definitely pretty spicy but paired really well with the kimchi fried rice, which I thought could be spicier. The pork quality was ok but I really liked the flavors and the bean sprouts in the pot. I particularly love that K Pocha has zero sugar soju on the menu no sugar = no hangovers!) I always drink the brand with the fox on it and squeeze a bit of lemon into the shot. We were served by the owner and the service was efficient. He didn't seem to speak the best English so we had to have one of our friends translate when we asked questions, but he was really nice and welcoming. K Pocha seems to be pretty new, so I will hopefully be back soon to support his business! I definitely want to try the army stew and the tofu soups.

I ordered the honey garlic as well as spicy garlic chicken tenders, but I could have gotten them as wings, thighs, or a mix even. The texture of the chicken tenders were spot on, and the juiciness of chicken breast inside the breading was just right! If you like spicy food, I recommend the spicy garlic - it was just the right amount of gochujang spice along with garlic. I had to take a few breaks since my spice tolerance has dropped. LOL. I did order some of their homemade kimchi and pickled radish. I highly recommend the radish. As for the kimchi, if you love kimchi then go for it. I enjoyed the kimchi and it definitely tasted homemade. I came around 1:30pm on a Saturday afternoon so it was not very busy. My food came out quickly. The customer service from the front counter guy as well as the owner who was walking around tidying up was very good as well.
