We had a great experience with FooHo food. We ordered the spring rolls which had a great flavor and crispy. We ordered the chicken fried rice that was great season and great portions with price. The food has gone down hill. I ordered a combination plate general tso chicken. The chicken or should I say what chicken just hard covering outside no chicken. Unedabile! I don't know what's up with Foo Ho lately. We have been long time customers. Usually buy from there once a month or so. Last time the wings were less than half the size they were the time before but same price. This time they look even smaller than the last time and they were way over cooked. Same price and they forgot the rice that was included with our dinners. We'll probably try once more but that'll be it if it's no better. That's a shame. read more

A few years ago I ordered Gen Taos Chicken and it was all gristle inside, if there was chicken in there I could not find it. I tried again and ordered Gen Taos Shrimp. The coating was so thick and over cooked I could not see the shrimp. I brought it back for a refund. I thought last night to give them a try again and ordered Gen Taos Chicken, Singapore My Fun, and steamed dumplings. I've loved Foo Ho since I moved to Barnegat in Sept 2016. I love their cheese wontons, their chicken and cashews and dumplings! I would of given 5 stars except the past time I got pineapple chicken (which I've ordered plenty of times before) tasted absolutely horrid. It was like it was triple fried in dirty oil and just inedible, and I wound up throwing it away. They're very busy and sometimes forget to put things in your to go order (egg rolls for example) so just double check before you leave (if picking up) or before delivery leaves.
