Yes, you may have to wait a few minutes to check out. Yes, you just may have to check your self out. And YES, Walmart is worse with wait times and rude employees daily thru out the entire store. I have reported the deli, vision, and the auto dept for nonsense. I go in Walmart for a last ditch only. I decided to decrease my stress dealing with Walmart, by patronizing other grocery stores for a better experience. So yeah I will continue to shop here and save a few coins. The produce is decent, the meat department often has deals, and the selection for everything else (shelf stable, frozen, alcohol) is huge. Better quality and prices than competitors, tbh. Besides, it's a union shop and the workers are friendly and seem genuinely happy to work here. I like that you get points towards fuel prices. I save a lot on gas with the monthly discount since gas prices keep rising. Plus there's often cool extras out front, like grilled ribs on game day or Girl Scout cookies. The only drawbacks are that it can take a while to process returns and they don't have all the recycling bins for bags and things that others have.

the staff at the Aldi in Lexington on Sunset has progressively cared less and less about the way…read morethey interact with customers, but today was by far the worst I've experienced in 6 years and has made me consider doing all of my weekly shopping at another location from now on. every SINGLE one of the staff working today was complete inconsiderate to the few of us shopping. they blocked the aisles stocking not just ONE side of the aisle but both and made no effort to help us figure out how to get around them. one left a pile of boxes in the middle of the row and then walked by me completely as I struggled to move them to get my cart around them. i was cut off THREE TIMES by a staff member that ran in front of me to grab an item off the shelf, and then at the one checkout that was open, they had a pallet stacked well overhead that was blocking HALF of the entrance to the lane itself! when I told the lady at the checkout that she needs to move that so people can get around as I just knocked off gum on the other side of the shelf, she shrugged her shoulders and smirked. to see i am appalled is an understatement
