I saw Dr Lorin Brandon for the first time today about a ganglion cyst on the top of my foot. He xrayed & used ultrasound to get a clear idea of what was going on. A previous Dr at urgent care had declared it was not amenable to drainage & said my options are to leave it be... or have surgery. Dr Brandon WAS able to aspirate some fluid from it & injected cortisone to help it heal. I'm hoping it doesn't come back, but if it does, I'll return to Dr. Brandon. I saw Dr. Julien Adicho for an ingrown toenail. He sliced the nail from the flesh and gave me instructions for how to manage it afterward. By Friday it was looking infected, so I called the office and asked to come in. I was told that Dr. Adicho was in Las Vegas. By the following Wednesday it was looking REALLY bad so I called the office again and asked to see the doctor. AGAIN I was told he was in Las Vegas... I said the situation was really bad so could I see someone else. I was told they did not "commingle" their patients. In other words, too bad, you're on your own. I ended up in the emergency room at Christus and was put on oral antibiotics and a better, newer antibiotic cream. I was told that the formula for Neosporin which Dr. Adicho suggested hadn't been changed in decades and was no longer effective. I ended up going to another podiatrist because it took a very long time for all of the damage done to heal. Dr. Adicho is incompetent and the office staff is unprofessional and uncaring. I wouldn't recommend these people to ANYONE! read more

Waited 20+ minutes for a 20-minute appointment in an empty office. Reception staff were watching youtube videos and throwing bags of chips at each other in plain view/earshot of the waiting room. Three months later was erroneously billed for an outpatient surgery and received no follow-up emails to my requests for clarification and correction for months. Was finally contacted in in March after leaving a google review and was promised that the charges would be re-evaluated and that they would call me once they reviewed them. I was told to ignore the bill until that time. I have received no follow-up since but continued to be sent the same unsubstantiated bills for the past two months. Now their billing team has shifted to be third party making it even more difficult to contact someone in the office familiar with my file. Do not recommend. read more

I will never return here and would not recommend it to anyone. Solely due to the office staff employed here. The tech did not size or fit my inserts properly. So I had to return them. The office staff were also unable to transfer my x-rays to my PCP office. I called multiple times asking for them to be sent to my PCP, and my PCP also called 3 times. They never sent them. When I asked for my x-rays on a disc the staff were unable to provide them. They stated that only the manager knows how to do that and they were not there. I also did not expect to have x-rays taken, I asked if my insurance would cover it, the staff said yes, but a few weeks later I received a bill from the office for about $170 for said x-rays. Overall, I had a horrible experience here, and I feel like I was ripped off and taken advantage of. The podiatrist also offered me surgery as on option. When I got a second opinion the orthopedic surgeon I met with said that I should first try physical therapy and alternative treatment options. read more

Met with the doctor and was measured and scanned for a new orthotic for my Plantar fasciitis, all went well. After 10 weeks of waiting, I contacted the office to inquire as to the status of the orthotic and was immediately dismissed by whoever answered the phone. "We are very responsive and will call you immediately when they arrive" Okay...I waited another few weeks, and called again. This time, after speaking with several office staff, they admitted that they had misplaced my order and I would have to come in again for a measurement. For more than ten years, well meaning doctors have been telling me my running days are over, but thanks to me ignoring their advice my running has actually reversed Osteopenia and I have run more races than I can count, including NYC and Boston marathons. His diagnoses and treatment had immediate results! He explained the problem, which was not what I thought it was, and gave me practical means to help it heal - not pain medication to mask the problem - and the knowledge and tools to enable me to return to running, which I did almost immediately. Three weeks later and 70% better... although the pain has not gone away completely, it no longer interferes with my training. Rather than making my running the problem, Dr. Rockwood treated me as a runner. 5 visits over a 9 month period with Dr. Ramirez, 5 injections, purchase of in-office orthotic and stretching boot, while my foot pain continues to worsen. Most recent injection was nine days ago, was poorly administered and as a result, I have had constant pain and soreness at the injection site. I am now seeking other medical attention to address the problem injection. I sent photos of the extreme bruising to Dr. Ramirez yesterday and have had no response from him or his office. read more

I am autistic. They were playing loud annoying music in the waiting room. I was triggered like fingernails on a chalkboard. I asked them to turn it off or down. They turned it down but not enough. They said there was no way to turn it off. I started to leave then explained I had waited over a month for the appointment and surely there was a way to turn it off. They again said there was no way to turn it off. I again said sure there must be. They then turned the music all the way down. I calmed down and was filling out paperwork. Then they announced that the doctor would not see me because my reaction to the music had upset another patient. I explained that I was calm now and filling out paperwork, but they didn't care. These people don't care about people. How can they possibly be any good at anything they do. read more
