In attending one of the visits myself, Dr. King insisted she had no idea what was wrong and said there are multitude of things that could be happening. None of which apparently warranted a thorough check by her. FINALLY, my sister went to another podiatrist for a second opinion and following a simple MRI, low and behold, she had a torn tendon that Dr. King missed entirely, because she never bothered to investigate. The injections, she insisted on, made the torn tendon worse, resulting in bruising and blackening of the area. Stay away from Glenda King!

I went to see her for foot pain, she gave me injections that did not help, and asked me to come back every 2 or 3 weeks, each consultation lasted for 5 to 10 minutes at the most and she was barely polite. After 3 months I realized that my foot was getting worse, that she was overcharging my insurance, kept asking me to come back and wanted to give me more injections. I stopped going. I consulted with a different podiatrist who gave me much more attention and time, performed xrays of my feet, explained in details what the situation was and suggested approaches that relieved me of pain. I am updating my review from below.....I want to specifically say which Dr at the office, since…read morethere may be others there who are more experienced and knowledgeable. The doctor was Daniel Reed, DPM. The damage caused by his "advice" means I am now looking at surgery. Previous review: Went to them last year for a foot injury. They gave me some advice about what to do. I tried what they said and it only increased the pain. Then, while traveling through Tucson AZ, I visited another podiatrist. I had been unable to walk many days. The Tucson doctor saw what they were suggesting I put in my shoes and shook his head and threw the stuff right in the trash. What Rio Grande Foot and Ankle had given me had actually created more pain and injury to my foot. The Tucson doctor told me I had Morton's Neuroma. The Rio Grande doctor never suggested this issue or what I could do to solve the problem. I am going to need surgery and might not have needed surgery if I hadnt been given such bad advice here that caused more injury and pain. Awful, unprofessional and inexperienced.

At least for me, choosing a doctor can be difficult. I found my care at Rio Grande Foot and Ankle…read moreSpecialists to be excellent. I had in-office treatment of a foot ulcer for several months. Eventually I chose to have surgery when the treatments were not successful. I am now fully healed, and I am thankful for the care I received. My doctor, the nurses and the staff were all compassionate and competent in every detail.
