When I saw foot locker I remembered I needed shoe laces for my kid since I ruined the original by trying to turn his nikes into the tie-less kind through an Amazon purchase (don't do it--don't pay the $10 it won't work). They were selling wide shoe laces which wouldn't work. A floor worker called up Cecilia (manager?) and she totally helped me out. The manager here did NOT want to be helpful. We arrived with a return for a birthday present that didn't fit. We were immediately greeted by a store rep who told us she would scan our return to let us know how much the exchange value was. She said it was $60 so we shop around with that number in mind When it's time to check out they give us our new shoes in a box that is ABSOLUTELY thrashed. The walls of the box are ripped off and it just looks like someone kicked it around for 30 minutes. We asked for a different box and they said it was the last one. We asked if they had any spare boxes and she said no We then proceed to pay and ask if they give military discount she says yes and asks for proof. We then provide our DD214, the most official form of proof available to veterans. She says they don't accept that because she can't "verify it" so I ask her if she can't just look at the name and then verify with his ID (this was after she said no like 5 times) she finally reluctantly looks at it and says she has to reject. She also then says that even tho the 1st rep scanned our return at $60 on her side it was ringing up at $30 on hers which was so annoying. I asked her to check my rewards and she too busy trying to sign my husband up for rewards to acknowledge my rewards account To make a long story short she worked harder to not give us a discount . We never did get our veterans discount , or a decent box for our shoes (we store our shoes in the boxes they come in for the life of the shoe) or even eye contact from the manager that was assisting us (you could hardly call it assisting) It sucks when you walk out of a cool store with 2 nice pairs of shoes and 9 nice pairs of socks and you feel unhappy and upset. Very long waiting period in line. Only one woman at register working. About 5-6 employees just standing around, not really helping any customers. When I got to the register, I needed to pay via ApplePay and was asked by the cashier to step over to the next register. She asked another employee to come over to ring me up. This employee, Angelica, was slow to come, was super rude when she arrived, and accused us of not getting in line. Just a horrible person, horrible employee towards customers. She reluctantly processed my purchase, and afterwards did nothing to move the line along. Anjelica just didn't care. No one knew who the manager was. read more

Continuing my boyfriend's Valentine's Day's gift story: I called other stores that could possibly carry the Adidas NMD R2 shoes in my boyfriend's size. Unfortunately they did not. But what stood out to me the most was how above and beyond Dominic's customer service was! He not only searched all Foot Lockers near by but he also helped me search stores that had the shoes available in store IN THE MALL. I don't even know how he did it, but I am so grateful for it! I was in line to return an item and the associate by the name of MONICA gave me a dirty look just because I was there to return. She started with giving me the "elevator eye" and asked to see if I was in line to make a purchase or return. At the time I was waiting in line there was two register open, after she finish helping the lady in front of me to purchase something, when it was my turn, I told her I was there to return, she just told me to wait for the other register that was open. I don't mind waiting but it's just the way she approach it by giving me the "elevator eye"look. During the time I was waiting, she was just organizing behind the counter and giggling with her male co workers. I over heard her talking about she's not gonna do a return and telling her co worker that he's not her boss. Treat everyone the same no matter if they are there to buy something today or not, just because I'm there to return, it doesn't mean I'm not gonna buy anything else in the future. One guy named Daniel is constantly on the phone and when he's not he's talking to his coworker Crystal who doesn't know how to deal with returns "Yeah I'm just making sure the customer is returning the correct item". There's a long line with people who have been waiting for over 10 minutes. You do the math. It's no wonder this place has one star. As Juan picks up the phone he drags it and drops it on the floor not at all attending to his customer. I notify to the other worker and one tall Asian guy says,"He's usually on the phone answering phone calls, but I'll go check on what he's doing." He walks up to Daniel then turns away through the other side without ever acknowledging me again. I approach another shorter Asian guy who's been flirting with an girl since we sat down to try the shoes -- he says,"There's only usually one worker working cashier even if it's busy. Return fails fixed. Lost my receipt, and my debit card had expired so technically they should not have taken my shoes back. Edgar, who assisted me when I bought the shoes two weeks earlier, remembered me as a customer and vouched for me in order to ensure the exchange went smoothly. I was greatful for this but also impressed by Edgar's customer service and his ability to remember me, even though I had a mask on both times. He needs a damn raise, honestly. Since I've started running on a daily basis. New running shoes was constantly on my mind. So I've started looking for deals online for a deals on some Nike Frees. It seems that they are almost never on sale or in stock. So i decided to go the retail route. The new Free Run 2s were $90! I decided to just take the bullet and get it at the mall. Only Foot locker had some decent selection color wise. The staff at this location was very eager to help me. He also seemed very knowledgeable about these shoes. I was able to find my size on display. They didn't have a 2nd pair in stock in my size. Kinda disappointed they didn't have a new pair in my size in stock. I am very disappointed at the service I received. Two jackets were marked in their clearance section for $19.99. I take one of the jackets to the register to purchase and the representative said the jacket was $110. I showed her where the jackets came from and told her that one of her representatives had verified the price for me before I even came to the register. We walked over to the other sales person and asked him about the price and he told her that yes it is marked down. She said that she is the store manager and that it is not marked down and will not sell it to me for that price of $19.99. I am very disappointed in the lack customer service that was displayed, not only by the sales representative but also by the sales manager. She told me she is not responsible for errors made by her staff and that if I had a problem call corporate. I will never go to footlocker nor champs again. When I went up to the register, juan told me to print the label and ship it from home. I explained that i would like to return it to the store and pointed to the order confirmation that says- "please bring this as proof of purchase for store returns." He was visibly annoyed and told me to step aside from the register and wait for him to call customer service. He proceeded to walk around the sales floor to help other customers. After he helped 2 customers, I asked if he could make the call since I have waited a while. He took the order confirmation and point to the customer service number and asked me to call and request a label. I told him again that I would like to return the shoes at the store since I am already there, and their website clearly stated that I can return any purchase to the store. He called customer service and then told me I have two options. 1. Print the label myself at home. 2. He can print the return label and ship it for me. I was completely bewildered at this point that he is still trying to not process the return for me! I told him again that yes I would like to return the shoes. He said "ok, you want me to print the label and ship this for you". Seriously?! I said yes. Finally, he printed the label and asked me to take a picture of the label and said he will ship the package for me. They don't follow Foot Locker's policy and backdoor sneakers to their friends and family. I was trying to get a pair of AJ1 Turbo Green for my boyfriend. While I was in the store, a guy came up to the Store Manager KEVIN to check if they still have any AJ1 left, he didn't even bother to look, and said they don't have anymore. While I was buying some other stuff, the Assistant Manager (sorry I forgot his name... but he is very nice and polite) came up to me and asked me if I need help, so I asked him if they have any AJ1 left, he told me if anyone doesn't show up for his/her reservation, we will be able to purchase them at 6:00pm. So people started to line up. At 6:00pm.. the very rude Store Manager KEVIN came up, he told everyone it is SOLD OUT. There are about 10-15 people who waited more than 30, 40 mins. One guy said his buddy couldn't make it today to pick up his reservation at the Arcadia Mall, they must have at least one pair left, there is no way all of them are sold out. It is true, when I was paying for my item, I saw there is this list with all the names who got a reservation, there are several pages, and there is no way all of them are picked up. As people were all angry at their BS, a guy ran in the store around 6:05pm, and he went up to the cashier to pick up his reservation, they immediately pulled out a pair from the back. Everyone got furious, we said you just told us all AJ1 Turbo Green are sold out, how could you just magically have a pair now. Then KEVIN said if you guys want the shoes, come back tomorrow morning. Foot Locker's rule is FCFS for all the reserved shoes after 6:00pm. At this point, we all know that the store/store manager is mostly likely backdooring the leftover AJ1 to their friends to make some extra cash versus selling them to customers who has waited to get a pair for their loved one. It really sucks that people like KEVIN can become a Store Manager... who lies, cheats. And there is nothing we can do about it. If anyone knows how to report this type of practice to Foot Locker, please let me know. Otherwise, I hope people stay away from this Foot Locker because they don't deserve your time and money. read more

This Foot Locker location is probably one of the worse locations around. However I'm starting to feel iffy about all the other Foot Lockers, Foot Action and Champs. I would never come here for new releases on shoes because I feel employees either take them first or they give them to their friends first. They usually get a good amount of pairs but it's weird that numerous people have been complaining about not being to get a new release at these locations. It has become shady of how these businesses run now. You have a better chance of getting the new releases online than in your local shop. Mom and pop shops are better now. Staff here are usually not helpful. No real greetings or asking you if you need anything when you walk in. I never buy from this place. I have shopped at this Footlocker for years, but now will stop. A women by the name of Alexis was very rude and had a nasty attitude the last time I shopped here. I believe she is a manager, which is one of the reasons I fail to understand her poor customer service skills. I also noticed the phone ring multiple times and her not answer it. I feel that if you are a manager you're supposed to do your job correctly. The last time I was in the store was for a release of the Jordan 1. I got the shoe through winning the reservation and while waiting in line, I also witnessed her pushy attitude with other customers as well. While hearing her tell other people she can't disclose information about what shoes were left, after the traffic in the store died down I saw her showing a list of the remaining shoes to a guy that was not an employee. I continued shopping after my first check out, and she was talking to this same person while neglecting shoppers. That deterred me from buying another shoe because she nor anyone were helpful. I am a Veteran, US Marine Corps. I just visited the Footlocker at the Santa Anita Mall with my wife and my 1 year old daughter. I went to buy my wife and baby daughter new shoes. When we were about to pay I asked if they gave military discount. Jonathan who assisted us at the register said yes. He asked for my Military ID, I said I don't carry it. I only carry my VA card (US Gov't issued Veterans Administration ID) and my California Drivers License (which has a Veterans endorsement) on it. Which is proof enough. I left the shoes and walked out. In order to acquire either ID you have to provide your DD214. When I asked to speak with the manager he said he was the manager. I told him I wouldn't be the first and last Veteran providing those ID's. He didn't care, no comment and just turned his back and walked away. How rude! Even with proper identification it's a shame how veterans are treated by FootLocker at the Santa Anita Mall. He just lost a loyal customer with over 25 years of shopping at Footlocker. read more

Where do I even begin? I come here a lot, because its near me, but, believe me no more. There are about a few ok sales people, but the cashier and the managers are a joke. One of the managers is constantly standing in the back and won't come out. The other is always on the phone and instead of helping customers leaves it to his workers and just socializes with "hip" regular customers. I've watched associates with mountains of shoes in their hands while the managers stand and do nothing. There's also a massive avoidance from these people. If you walk in and you don't fit an image they give off they avoid you or ask you to go check their other stores. Not only this, but they don't help you, period.
