I did though and then I asked for an item which I was alerted before I could finish that it wasn't in stock, and wasn't even an item sold there. I asked out of confusion, "why didn't your store sell them?" She replied because nobody wears them. Immediately I knew this employee had an issue, with something or someone probably herself because I'm somebody and I'm asking you for the item so apparently somebody where's them. Your comp right next door was outta of stock or they didn't have the sizes I needed. I was buying for my entire family. Maybe it's because I wasn't wearing her favorite color because she had red coloring all in her head that looked stank with clearly a stank sarcastic attitude to match. FYI if you are in the customer service business and you refuse to give good or choose rather poor customer service just get out of the business. Times is already bad economy wise. I'm spending money that definitely doesn't grow on trees. The last thing you want is not only for money to not come in, You also don't want people running your future sales away. It's ok maybe it's not for you. Businesses will continue to go out of business unless the management checks the employees bottom line, especially considering the times. There's someone else who needs a job but more importantly actually likes what they do. Not sure if I'll ever be back to shop here, unless desperate.

A friend recommended Fleet Feet ages ago but I didn't finally give them a try until I hurt my foot in the gym partially due to very old shoes. I came in on a Friday evening and two other customers were already there but Anthony did an amazing job of bouncing between us and providing excellent service. I explained my situation, what kind of workouts I typically do, and he walked me through the measuring process which consisted of stepping on a platform and walking a few strides over a cushiony mat. (Thank god, you do not have to run!) Anthony explained my readings & shortly came back with three awesome options he thought would be great for me. Unlike Cinderella, though, Anthony nailed it on the first shot. The CloudFlow shoes felt so amazing they made me realize just how old and worn out my other pair was! Due to some discrepancy in my arches, Anthony also recommended some insoles which he custom cut for my new kicks. In addition to that, I also snagged some workout gear from their selection. The shoes were $140, insoles $50, and the gear was $60, so not cheap but you can definitely tell it's quality stuff! I already wore everything for the next morning workout and it all felt great! I stopped into Dick's the other day for a can of Mace. I walk downtown daily and have had a few…read morealmost-altercations with drivers who don't understand they need to stop for pedestrians who are halfway across cross walks with the walk signal, so I wanted to arm myself in case I ever encounter an extra aggressive motorist. I used to have a can on hand when I worked in a fairly dangerous part of North Philly (that I never used), but that stuff expires after a few years, so it was time to refresh! When I walked in with my mom, we were immediately greeted and assisted with finding the Mace. They actually had a large selection of cans, which I thought was pretty random but nice. I chose the pink one without tear gas for $15 and was quickly on my way. The rest of the store seemed clean and well-designed, but I didn't stick around to browse. This location is in the Willow Lawn shopping center surrounded by a bunch of other chains, but parking was easy on Sunday. I'd return for sporting goods or some more Mace if needed in the future. Let's hope I never have to use it!

I guess it's time to be a grown up! Jeans are really funny and you can be completely different sizes depending on brand and cut. So, as much as I hate trying things on, I decided to pop in and give them a test drive. Well, people definitely aren't lying! The jeans are soft, supportive, and definitely high quality. They're thicker than some others that I have from a different brand and I really enjoyed everything about them. I was surprised to find that my normal size fit me very well. The young lady who was working today was very nice and helpful, without being overbearing. My favorite kind of employee interaction! Definitely glad I came in today and looking forward to owning my very own pair of Madewell denim in the new year!
