They would not honor their guarantee because they said there was wear on the soles. That is what happens when you walk in shoes, the soles wear down. Just neighborhood dog walking nothing extreme. They tried to blame me for buying the wrong but I had them fitted at that store and bought from that store less than year ago. I am completely disillusioned with REI as they do not honor their own guarantee.

Dan did talk to us, telling us he's short staffed. Sadly, the staff he had "helping" customers don't have a common decency with customer service skills! Tamera should definitely be working at an Amazon warehouse where she doesn't have to approach customers. I've been to multiple Dicks sporting goods, by far the worst experience I've ever encountered!!

We went looking for the person that greeted us and she said she still couldn't help as she is not authorized to ring someone up. So I asked, "I just want to buy shoes, so I have to wait until they are done with their customers? She said yes. I walked up to a guy and asked, can you just ring me up? He stated, "I'm going to ring up this customer and you will have to wait until one of the associates are done as I have 3 other customers. So, I just walked out and they didn't get a sale. What that associate could have done was - "I can ring you up after I ring up this customer!" I wish they had someone hat can just ring up customers that just want to buy and go. I was not going to wait for who knows how long just to buy a shoe. I won't go to this location anymore and just order online since I have a discount with my membership. I am a big fan of their ladies' casual dresses and my husband likes their selection of dress shirts. They had a fairly large selection of shoes for women with enormous feet (me) when I stopped in, and I ended up buying a couple pair. I was really surprised to find a pair of ankle boots on clearance for $17-18--if only they had fit! Lots of what they had (at this time anyway) were heels or wedges which I don't mess with but I found a couple pairs of work-appropriate flats that I could also wear fairly comfortably with a dress if I want. I haven't seen Clarks in Nordstrom Rack in some time, which is a bummer since they're my favorites (so comfy!!), but I'll keep looking. Lots of parking here since it's part of a shopping center.
