Car shopping is by far my least favorite thing to do aside from dental surgery. Usually I narrow my search based on a specific vehicle and then reluctantly go through which ever car dealer seems to have the best price. This time around I noticed Footh Auto Sales popping up on my Facebook news feed and I also noticed several of their vehicles driving around town. I decided to look into them and much to my surprise most of their reviews were from people like me who were tired of car dealers' ridiculous tactics. I decided to stop by in person to take a look around their lot. When I pulled up there were a few employees outside and I was shocked when no one ran up to my car like the blood thirsty car lots I had been to in the past. After about 10 minutes of walking around the owner pulled into the lot and asked me if I had any questions that needed to be answered. I told him that I was interested in a Nissan Altima and a Toyota Camry; he informed me that one of his sales reps would be out shortly to answer my questions. Out came a laid back fella named Ken, whom to my relief wasn't dressed in a fancy suit but rather just some casual company clothing. I mention these things in detail because I have to share the fact that these guys are the polar opposite from what you would expect at a car dealer but especially a used car dealer. Ken was very knowledgable, low key, and I never once felt pressured toward either vehicle. Needless to say I drove both vehicles and told Ken that I wanted a few days to weigh my options. I left him my cell phone number and email address and told him that I would be in touch. Now....in the past dealers would always hound me and ring me off the hook for days to come. Again to my surprise, Ken didn't bother me at all! On the 3rd day Ken did call and ask if I had any questions regarding the vehicles that I test drove. I told him that I was leaning toward the Camry however preferred the color of the Nissan. He answered a few of my questions about fuel economy and warranty....(drum roll) and then told me that he preferred to sell me the perfect vehicle rather than settling for one that wasn't my ideal color; he ended the conversation saying that he would speak with the owner regarding our conversation. Then 2 days later the owner Ben Footh called me to let me know that he had specifically purchased a Camry in my favorite color! Ben, like Ken was very professional and I could not believe that he took the time to call me personally rather than passing it off on his sales staff. I set an appointment to view the Camry the following weekend and decided to move forward with the purchase! I love my car! Footh Auto Sales truly is the exception to the rule; I cannot say enough about how well I was treated. Before I left their lot Ben Footh asked me to do one thing. "Tell others how you were treated", he explained that his success in the auto industry is attributed to how he has consistently treated people for over 17 years. Footh Auto certainly earned a customer for life. Ben has built a special business and done an excellent job of hiring very good sales staff. I can't say enough good things about Footh Auto. I have been going to Footh Auto for the last 6 years for their absolute quality service. Everytime I visit Footh Auto I am greeted very professionally at the entrance by staff member offering their help and any water or refreshments. Recently I was at Footh Auto and my vehicle was running outside. I was talking with Mr. Footh and he said he noticed something with my vehicle and wanted to look under the hood. He and his staff got my vehicle into the garage right away and got me fixed up very quickly and for a very acceptable fee. I didn't even realize what was wrong but fortunately it was taken care of because I was traveling on the road all day up north the next day. These guys are the real deal! All of the reviews I read about them being different than your typical car dealer couldn't be more spot on! I felt right at home when buying my new car and was impressed with how they negotiated with the banks to get me the best deal and interest rate. I shopped around for 6 weeks before heading down to Footh and am sure happy I went there. They gave me $2500 more for my trade in than the local Chrysler dealer down the street. I bought a chevy suburban from footh auto and am very happy. We drove all the way from rochester because we saw a video on Facebook a year ago where they were giving food away to homeless people. This place will be my new go-to​ for any service needs. I had to have my CV axle replaced on my BMW and within 3 days from when I called,​ I was able to get the car in. Dropped my car off at 9, was told it should be done by the end of the day, and by 11:30 the car was already ready to be picked up. I got a new tahoe from Footh's auto and 4 months after it was shaking bad which is why I thought about only putting 4 stars. I called to talk to the owner and he said to bring in right away. So I brought in and they fixed it and didn't charge me anything. This was nice because I know how some car dealers be. Footh's guys are good people I will be back. The word i would use to describe Footh auto is AMAZING ! Being a female most dealerships you go to just run right over you and try to push you into either a junk car or something you simply cant afford but when i went to Footh the owner and employees showed nothing but respect and knowledge . I had a chance to bring my truck here for work after hearing that they now have a repair center. Patrick the service writer was very helpful and answered all of my questions in a way that I could understand. The price did come in cheaper than i was quoted from another place but I did have to wait a week to get in. This is the only reason that I gave Footh 4 stars. I just bought a suburban from Footh Auto and love it! Chris was my sales guy and he was a pleasure to work with. Super nice guy and never pressured me or my wife once. Also got to meet the owner who seemed like a great guy too. I highly recommend this place. Also they have a super sweet shop dog there. Went in for a belt issue and was told the technician for my appt called in sick so it might take a little longer than quoted, which was totally fine, but they moved things around to make it work and got my car done in LESS time than planned.
