Okay away I went with my blind trust - We had a "gentleman's agreement" to begin with (no contract - just a payment). Total transparency::::Perhaps if my circumstances didn't change midway (I got offered a car midway through our chats and was just looking to sell my much newer car vs at the beginning of the 'agreement' I was going to buy AND sell through him). Also my encounter with him was at the beginning of the COVID pandemic (mid-March) which didn't help timing / the offers by the dealers. Overall "customer service" was ok, but because of the change of circumstances midway and COVID beginning from the dealers - resulted in a 'tough shit' from him (he compared it to a lawyer - even if you don't win you still pay) Fine but I didn't even use any of the resources / offers he found - and I was out hundred of dollars with no real return (I didn't even use any of the dealers he got a quote at to sell the car). In hindsight I wish I would have asked more questions or there would have been a partial payment to get quoted in the cars and then the final payment once the transaction occurred. Overall - ask questions and know what happens in all possible scenarios.

Bob found me a decent deal, but I can't say he was much of an advocate. He did not "do all the…read moretalking for me" or even most of it, chiming in only occasionally when the sales person was not present. Because my trade-in was not worth much, there was no negotiating the price of the car. This would have been admissible had he helped with the interest rate (mostly silent) or performed a better inspection. His inspection of the vehicle was not thorough because he missed a deep chip in the paint in a visible location. If you're looking for a mechanic to give you a detailed history of the vehicle, look elsewhere. Bob took a brief look under the hood, but did not use any diagnostic tools. Bob's services may be worth it for you if you are not confident about finding a good deal or negotiating your trade-in. Not if you want a thorough history or inspection of the vehicle.

We decided to buy that night and they were able to provide title services and apply for new plates. The price of the vehicle was awesome and perfect car for our daughter. They called about 10 days later when the plates arrived and both guys we worked with remembered us right away when we drove in to pick them up. Their lot is small, but seem to rotate inventory pretty quickly from the auto auction at fair prices. I think they do minor repairs and fixes onsite to get all the cars road ready from the auction. The interior waiting area was clean and plenty of open seating while pa-rework was completed.

Discount Tire said the tire had been driven on extensively with very low air pressure and was badly damaged on the inside. I'm guessing when they bought this car at auction they knew this and it appears a hole in the tire was plugged to repair it. Regardless of why the tire could not be removed, one would hope when they buy a tire the basic ability of removing a tire should be expected. When I went to pick up the plates I informed them of this and they said the sales person who sold me the car would contact me back. It has been 3 days and I have not heard any word.

What a fiasco! First, Matt is super slow to respond to your calls and messages. Second, his…read moredescriptions are WAY over the top. He described the vehicle as a #2 car! Here is his exact description of the vehicle we purchased as he describe it "all lights, turn signals, radio, wipers, heater, gauges, etc. are all in good working condition". Well the RADIO, WIPERS, CLOCK don't work! Upon arrival the car had a serious fuel leak and almost didn't start. I installed a new "real" fuel line. It had some kind of yellow plastic line. We then took off on our first adventure in the car. After 1 1/2 hours we headed home. We heard a load scraping noise. The right front wheel bearing cratered. We limped it home. We smelled gas the whole trip. We discovered the carb was leaking fuel in several areas. So we've enlisted a Ford expert to help us locate all the leaks from the engine. I replaced the front wheel bearings after 9 hours!!! Then the next day the driver door wouldn't open. I finally got it open. The engine leaks oil like a stuck pig! The car needs a "puppy pad" underneath it to catch all the leaks! The following items DON'T work as advertised!! Horn, wipers, radio, clock!!! Everyday we wake up wondering what will be wrong with the car today! But the worst part of the transaction is Matt's SLOW or NO response. I gave him a over a week to check back and see how we liked the car. CRICKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We spent 40K on a car and he could care less!!!!!!! No communications. I left a voice mail about our issues 24 hours ago and no response so I'm leaving him a horrible review!!! Spending this kind of money on an unseen car is scary. I feel you CANNOT trust Matt! He told us this was a #2 car!!!!!!! Really????? His exact words in his description were "this is a rare, classic car that can be driven anywhere with no worries." Well that is a lie!!!!! 8 days later we have still not heard from Matt. We can't take the car out without worrying about what will fail next! The car won't start after driving it for over 15 minutes. Unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!!!! Be warned!!!!!!!!!!! Run away from Matt and Mad Muscle Garage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes their service prices are higher than their competitors, but I do think they have a higher level of service with videos for detailed inspections and great digital communication protocols. Last month, I scheduled a repair for a recalled Fuel Pump. Since the repair took a few hours, I added additional maintenance of oil change and transmission flush. Scheduling was an easy and quick phone call followed by a confirmation email with all the details needed. However, I received a nice competitors coupon in the mail and was considering moving to the competitor. I called their shop to explain, but they offered to match the competitor's coupon for 15% off up to $100 of service. At the time of pick up, there was a big problem that a LOT of white smoke started coming out of the exhaust when I was 3 blocks away. I texted to ask if it was normal and temporary after that repair. They said no and asked if I could bring the vehicle back. I brought it back and they gave me a free loaner car for the day since they couldn't get to my car that same day. It turns out that the turbo went out. Since I had lifetime warranty, it was covered and I didn't have the pay the $2800 of unscheduled repair. I was able to pick up my car the next day fully fixed with no added hassle.
