If you schedule an appointment it does not mean your service will start at that time. I made an appointment for an oil change tire rotation for 8 AM in the morning, I dropped my vehicle off at 7 AM, I assumed that it would be done by no later than 10 AM Seeing how I had an 8 AM appointment, but they just stick your vehicle in line with other vehicles and get to it when they can, I called them at 12 noon and my vehicle had not even gone back for service yet. This has now happened twice at this dealership, which is now under new ownership, the previous ownership I've never had issues with. I'm not going to be using this dealership anymore. read more

They've recently been acquired by Kunes and the price of an oil change had gone up drastically with no heads up on the website or when checking in. the cost went up from 83.00 to 135.00 which Is almost 75% I only have a little Chevy sedan so it's a little outrageous. I came here to do an oil change and i was very surprised on the positive experience i had with all the staff members. It was very easy bringing my car inside to get checked in. The staff member who helped me was nice and funny. He gave me recommendations on places i could go to eat something while i wait as well. Well where to start. We reserved a 2025 Yukon Denali ultimate as soon as it left the plant with a 2500 deposit. We waited for it to arrive it came in to the rail yard on I think a Monday so we took a gamble and flew in that Friday and it was not delivered which is not their fault at all. That Sunday we made the deal knowing we would have to fly back in to pick up the deal but they wanted to make the deal before months end which was fine with us. When we was making the deal we mentioned the 500 off coupon that you get on line the finance guy knew nothing about it and said he would check the the new car manager and we forgot about it our fault. But when we was making the deal we settled on a price out the door including the extended warranty and the 2500 deposit fine we signed. But when we came back the next weekend we was told oh no you owe 2500 more because the deal made did not include the down payment. I Asked them to listen to the voice recording because we was told that they recorded the deal. They would not listen to it they told us they could sell that vehicle in 30 seconds if we didn't agree. They did take 500 off the warranty and 500 coupon so we had to pay an additional 1500 even though on the proposal hand written paper it flat out stated the out the door price. Our problems began with the battery light staying on in March. We replaced the battery and cleaned the terminal connectors. The battery light remained on, so we brought our 2008 Pontiac Vibe to Valley Buick GMC (Apple Valley). Valley GMC determined it was the alternator. They replaced it at a cost of $741.11. We picked the car up and drove it home. Then we went on vacation. When we returned my husband drove the car to work and the battery light remained on. Back to Valley GMC. Scott told us that this time it was the ECM. We complained about the fact that they said it was the alternator and now the ECM. Scott said he would speak to Randy Rue, the Service Manager, and have him contact us. We told him to proceed with the repair. The cost was $611.36. We never heard from Randy. I left a message for the General Manager, Brett Paul, and never heard back. Scott assured us it was fixed. We picked it up and then had to return it the same day as the battery light was on again. Scott said the alternator was bad and they replaced it - again. Neither Randy or Brett had called us back, despite repeated messages. I spoke to the receptionist and left messages for Brett and also the owner, Jim Paul. Scott assured us the issue was fixed and that they drove it to make sure. We picked up the car and immediately returned it as the battery light was still on. Scott called us again and said that it was now the Canister Vacuum Pump and that we would have to pay $836.36 additional. My husband finally reached Randy who refused to do anything about the price and wouldn't listen to our complaints. We picked up the car because it had been a month since Valley GMC started work. The battery light is now off but the car has only been driven 60 miles. We have spent a total of $2,188.83. Neither Jim or Brett Paul has returned my calls, despite leaving voice mails and messages with the receptionist. Our car didn't need all of these parts. It was running fine but had a battery light on. They misdiagnosed the car and wanted us to pay for their mistakes. Very dissatisfied. read more

I would give zero stars if I could can never fix the car the first time I brought the car in there twice now for oil leaks and price seven times for a camshaft sensor that has was never fixed until the seventh time and the oil leak took two tries to fix. The GM never calls anyone back. I don't get how they stay in business with their very poor communication. read more

This place is in way over their heads. Management only cares making money for themselves. I would recommend taking your vehicle to anywhere else that actually treats their customers like humans and not a number. First took 2 hours for my oil change and then I showed a coupon after my vehicle was done and it turned into this huge argument over a $10 coupon and she "didn't know how to do it". Took 10 minutes of employees arguing back and forth over a coupon they sent out...My local dealer is cheaper anyways but this place was recommended so I thought I'd give them a shot. Worst dealer experience of my life and will be advising people to take their business elsewhere at every opportunity I can get! read more

Riley and team mis-diagnosed a clicking noise as a hazard switch. When I purchased and installed the switch, the clicking continued. I returned the part, which Valley GMC accepted, but never got my refund. I called a week later and got passed from service to parts and back to service, then put on hold for 45 minutes until the call was disconnected. Valley GMC said they cannot accept the returned hazard switch because it was plugged in, and would not refund the mis-diagnosis fee either. I understand mistakes happen, but it is unacceptable that they would not make it right. Very disappointing experience. read more

I brought my 2019 sierra Denali in for vibration issues. The first time they balanced my tires and said the vibration was solved. I drove it home amd the vibration was still there. I made another appointment and rode with the service manager to show him the vibration. He talked how it could be the 22 inch rims and he said there was nothing he could do to fix the issue. I had an appointment to meet with the service manager Randy Rue about a rust warranty issue on my car. Never once did he introduce himself, talk to me or shake my hand. Then Randy Rue walked away. I went back in to talk to Randy about his manners. I was brought back to the service managers office. He was in his office talking to another employee joking around. I waited and Randy Rue closed the door on my face. He did not​ even recognize me because​ he never even looked at me or made eye contact moments earlier when he looked at my car. In this day and age,​ I'm​ shocked that someone in management​ would treat​ a customer like they are irrelevant​. As a women business​ owner, I would NEVER be so condescending​ to a customer. Went in for an oil change and the service ran my vehicle through the car wash without even asking if I wanted it. Got home and noticed the whole rear end had swirl marks and scratches in the paint/plastics from the car wash brushes. I would not recommend getting a wash there. read more

We were given a courtesy vehicle w/o even being asked if we needed one which was super nice. WOW!! Small town dealer yet located in the Twin Cities. My wife and I purchased a Buick Enclave from Jerry Miller. Jerry made us feel at home right away. Earlier in the day we test drove the Dodge Durango and we were ready to buy it. We decided that we wanted to test drive the Buick Enclave to be sure. Not only did Jerry do a great job pointing out the features of the Enclave he was also very knowledgable about the Durango. Jerry asked several questions and found out that my wife was going to be the primary driver. He did a great job explaining several features that she would like and use that the Durango just couldn't offer. After my wife took the Enclave for a spin she was sold. Jerry didn't try and force the sale on us. When it came time to negotiate he was very fair. We had some damage to our trade in and we were not expected to get any real value for it. Boy were we surprised when we found out what we were getting for it. When it came time to go I to the office for the financing we were expecting to be pressures into buying extended warranties and accessories. Yet we were not pressured. In fact we were told that if we wanted to purchase an extended warranty we could come back anytime and buy one. I can't say enough about the experience we had. On delivery we also met the Sales Manager Brett who was great and you could tell that he really valued our opinion. It was not the canned speech you expect to get from the big chain of dealerships in the Twin Cities. Evedently we now have to pay for their service techs to go to school on our vehicles. We brought a 2005 Hummer H2 into this dealership because the rear air ride system was not working. They installed 2 ride level sensors, (1 at a time stringing us along) which didn't repair the problem, then couldn't locate the parts to complete the repair. They wouldn't return the sensors, so they forced us to pay $722 dollars and our vehicle is still in the same position. Being a proud GM owner, I will find another dealership to do my business in the future! A bunch of crooks here!!! read more

Worst car experience and rudest car salesman ever! I would not go to this dealership if my life depended on it. Salesman Reid lied to us about where the car came from. Said it was a trade in when they actually received it from auction after a car accident. If you don't know where it came from that is fine but don't lie to us! Made an appointment to look at the car again (and to get my license back since he forgot to give it back to me from the start and and after an attempt to go back and get it and being told by another salesman that it wasn't his problem.) Was advised they found out the heater blower was not working so would add $500 to the selling price. Got to the dealership and advised that we decided the car was not going to work for our needs. Reid continued to argue with me and finally yelled 'I'm not very happy with you!' and stormed off like a 2 year old. Not only will I never go there again, I will advise everyone I come into contact with to not go there as well unless they want to be disrespected and belittled. read more
