I came here to test my 2012 tundra that I purchased new and at that time purchased a Toyota Racing development intake that was approve by California Resource Board and had a sticker on it stating it is approved. The technician went online pulling up an old approval from 2011 that didn't include my year. Toyota said it is approved. The technician should of call carb. I had no problem getting it smoged else where. How can a paper dated 2011 have 2012 truck on it. Tester at this facility put his effort into denying my truck instead of calling carb and asking them. read more

Quicky Smog is not only a great deal (cost wise) for a smog check, but they actually live up to the name - Quicky! I have 6 vehicles and take all of them to Quicky. They are open 7 days a week which makes it super-convenient. I recently took my 2006 Jeep Wrangle TJ for its bi-annual smog check and it didn't pass. I had to come back three times (no fault of theirs) because I disconnected the battery to change out a part and the computer wasn't ready for the smog check. The technician printed out the factory drive profile to make the computer meet the required amount of driving necessary to pass. It didn't pass that time either. Then the technician gave me a suggestion that had worked for others to get the vehicle to pass. I looked it up on the internet and there's a lifetime dealer fix available that modifies the wiring at the ECU - for FREE! I took the Jeep into the dealer and got the modification done. Then I took it to Quicky and it PASSED! The takeaway from this is that none of the rechecks they performed cost me any additional money and the helpful information they gave me was spot on. I was contacted by the owner, Indra, via Yelp, asking me to please contact him because the rate that he quoted me was the standard rate that he had and he didn't know how my husband was charged an extra $5. I also had Indra call on my home phone a few times the day I left the review but I wasn't around to take the call. Later that day, the Asian man who swindled my husband called my house and, in his heavy accent, told us to come back in and get our $5- he didn't admit anything but just said to come and get it. I told him that I would get in by the next day and the guy actually called me again the next afternoon asking when I would be in and I told him I would go down on MY time, not his. Anyway, I went down (my husband told me to take care of it, LOL) and saw the guy and told him to hand over my $5. He immediately went and got it and then I asked him why he had taken it, given that the test was only supposed to cost $35. Once again, he played the I-can't-really-speak-English card and I couldn't understand the majority of what he said; the only thing I did understand was something he said about a coupon, to which I replied, "Yeah, right, whatever, dude", and then left. All in all, I know that $5 isn't a big deal. To me, it's the principle of the matter. If you want people to populate your business and be successful, then you have to have honest rates and do honest work. When I dealt with the owner before, he was honest and nice and I felt that I received a great rate in a timely manner. Unfortunately for him, he has an employee who has no problem swindling extra money out of customers and hiding it behind an accent. I hope that the owner fires that guy because he doesn't deserve a job at his place- he's giving it a bad name. read more

Terrible experience. I went over because of the reviews and the coupon. When I got there, the individual working there was rude and inattentive. He finally told me that I was next and that it would be 20 more minutes. There was really no place to wait, so I basically sat in my car for what ended up being closer to 35 minutes. When the car left, I pulled up but he waived me down. He then told me that there was another car ahead of me and that I would have to wait another "20 minutes." I don't know if this was a friend of his or something, but I reminded him that I was next and he rudely insisted that I needed to wait longer, but that if I didn't trust him, I could just leave. I did. What a horrible waste of time. I ended up paying more somewhere else, but I was treated respectfully and was out the door in less than 20 minutes. read more

I found this place on yelp and tried it out not only for good reviews but because he was open at 5pm. My car is old and didn't end up passing the smog test but he showed me a paper and explained to me exactly where it failed and possible solutions to the problem as well as places to get it checked and fixed. The whole process took about 25 minutes. Very fast, very courteous, very professional. Would recommend to anyone. read more

Best place I've been to get a smog test done (smog, test only, star). My 4runner needed a smog this year and found this place on yelp. It was 5PM, and they close @ 5:30PM, so figured I'd go the next day so called ahead to see what would be a good time to bring my truck in. They said to just bring it in that same day. Dropped by and nobody ahead of me so they got my smog done in less than 10 minutes. $35 flat rate and they do send the cert electronically so was able to complete my registration online. It is in the same lot as the car wash and all the way in the back like others have said. Follow the signs once you pull into the car wash lot. read more

This is the second time I've taken my car here for a smog check and I've been really happy with their quick and efficient service. I noticed that there is more signage directing you to the location. It will look like you are driving into the actual wash area of the car wash don't worry, you're not! The smog check is right beyond that tucked into a corner. read more

Frantically searching the internet for an open smog inspection station late Sunday afternoon, found this outfit in close-enough Upland. Count me a grateful customer. Every other smog station was closed in all Christendom. As already mentioned by other posters, it's hidden/concealed/located behind a car-wash on Foothill Boulevard. You'll be well-served to make your way here. The smog inspection was done by an easygoing, friendly young man who took the time to explain and keep me (and the customer behind me) continually updated of wait time while servicing the junker in front of me. Mine, being a newer car, which they define as model year 2000 and later, was done in minutes. If older, then apparently it'll take longer. This is definitely a place I'll keep on my short list. FYI that they also go by the business name "Foothill Quicky Smog." read more
