You don't even need to golf here to enjoy this magic.

The service here is excellent. Get the burger at the turn shack as well. What they don't tell you is it's a double Pattie smash burger. I'd put it up there with any in the valley. The golf holes near the course are in better condition than the rest of the course. Tee times are spaced well enough apart. All staff are friendly and helpful.

I walked into the Foothills Golf Club on October 1st asking if they could accommodate my wedding on October 10th..!! I emailed Cindy and she responded to me that same evening! Everything went seamlessly..and we had 9 days to plan everything! It was a beautiful venue..the staff were professional and the food was really incredible. Cindy was so easy to work with and made what could have been a stressful experience 100 % stress free! I'm eternally grateful to the Foothills Golf Club!

Pretty good layout, decent practice facilities, greens are typically in good shape and tees are okay (some mediocre, some great). I really like that it's not like those other "flat as a cookie sheet" courses on the valley. The clubhouse is kind of meh but the food is consistently decent. The pro shop is large but I've only ever paid for tee times or range buckets NOTE: Troon has taken over and it's currently closed (until Oct 2024) because they are doing all of the tees and greens over, which is exciting because those two components needed the most love. I am really excited for it to reopen because I think it could end up being my go to course if it's not too expensive.

Although Foothills has been here for a while, it has recently become a Troon course. I think there is still some improvements needed. They're going to have to dump some money into this place to bring it up to Troon standards. The carts aren't equipped with GPS gear. There was no Marshall to keep pace of play. The restaurant was even closed before we finished our round at around 5pm. With that being said, I still like the course. My buddy got a Hole-in-One on Hole #4 today. It was his first and he was elated. He's 70ish years old. If you like a good challenge this GC will keep you on your toes. It's a forgiving course. It'll cost you about $86 and change with a Troon card to play.

I will admit, I was not able to play the course so I'm rating on my husband and son's golf experience. I did experience a glass of wine and snack on the patio and it was quite lovely. Happy hour prices were an added bonus. Staff was super friendly. The patio was beautiful and looked out to the setting sun and shadows of the foothills. For the golf... it was a draw to play because it's owned by Troon but it does have a bit of work to do to get up to that standard. It had a nice layout. Greens were a little rough and fairways were patchy, but there is a lot of potential. The practice facility needs some work. My son is a long ball hitter and could not use his driver there because it was too short. We look forward to playing in about a year from now to see how much it's improved.

After playing this course and gave it some thought. There are some pros and cons here. Course is not in that great shape. Sand bunkers are more like rock bunkers. Very wet at some areas, and the greens were sporadic. The driving range is dreadful, no grass to hit off of. The only covid safety going on is you must wear masks going inside. Most courses have pool noodles inside the cups to prevent you from having to put your hand inside the cup. This facility does not. They also have sand bunkers rakes out, as most other golf courses do not at this time. Businesses really need to step up here in Arizona and do their part to prevent the spread of covid. Now the prices are decent, and the course is actually fun to play.

    The view is spectacular.

The views are so beautiful at sunset. We went on their very first happy hour and had a blast. Seating was limited but they accommodated by bringing more out. The live music was wonderful. The food was tasty as we got there early enough to order. The bartender was a bit new so she didn't know how to make a Long Island but after explaining she was able to prepare it for us.

Is the bunker wheel chair accessible?

Hi John, yes it is. You can access it from either side but the east side of the clubhouse is easiest.

Wanting to try another of their restaurants before the ungodly heat arrived, we decided to stop in for lunch. Parking: can be a bit nerve wracking, especially parking in the dirt lots east of the place. You have to walk across 32nd St & if you know Phoenix drivers, this can be dangerous. There is a pedestrian light now, though, so that helps -- but oddly enough, there's no "walk" signage. It's merely a blinking yellow light for north- sound-bound traffic so you have to pray to the universe drivers are paying attention & actually stop for you. Ordering: a bit odd. The main door we went in was more the middle door that didn't really take you to the beginning. There's a drink station then the food station. We skedaddled to the right of the main doors for the drink order, only to discover there's another door that people walk through to place orders. So we joggled w/ another customer trying to figure out who was there first. It honestly felt like a school cafeteria, a bit chaotic, as well as cramped. The patio was pretty large & well shaded, but it was also full -- and this particular day also the ONLY SHADE. We were left to sit at one of their many tables on the grounds with no shade. Food: not worth the $77 we paid. I get it's a working farm, & though we try to support local as much as possible, the food we ordered was not good enough that we will stop by again. The strawberry fields salad was a typical salad, no wow factor there. The Italian sammy was dry. There was a minuscule amount of some kind of dressing on it, but def not enough. Dessert: red velvet whoopie pie was so overpriced it's not funny. If it tasted great, I wouldn't complain...it did not taste great. The pecan pie was abysmal; not enough filling and very bland. Two "specialty" drinks, a salad, a sandwich, & two small desserts, for $77? No, sorry, not again.

Now I realize that the 2026 was a Summer Olympics and Curling is part of the Winter Olympics, but we didn't care Upon entry to go to the host stand and tell them what you're looking to do (activities vs bar/waiting). The space is relatively open and you can immediately see the fully stocked bar, the bowling area, the back axe throwing lanes, and the enclosed curling lanes. We opted for a package that got us unlimited games (any) for an hour. We started with curling and we didn't need any special clothes or shoes. We were lead to a lane and it's set up like shuffleboard (you can stand on either side and there's two separate color stones). There's ice where you glide your stones and you stand on rubber for traction. You can glide by hand or use a piece of equipment that is essentially a stick to help push and guide your stone. There's an attendant on duty to help any stones that are stuck or that don't make it down the lane The experience was awesome. We've always wanted to try curling, but it's difficult to find somewhere that is set up to let you do that. We were amazed that we finally tried it in a desert of all places. There are no brushes like in typical curling, but you still get a sense of the Olympic activity. The bowling was fun too, but it's a smaller version like you might see in some novelty bars. Axe throwing was that of typical ax throwing. You had a couple different sizes of axes, there's lanes and you throw at a wooden target. They had computers to input your name and keep track of points. It was sometimes difficult to stick the wooden target, but it was fun We didn't try the food or drink, but everything looked good. The staff were very helpful. It was a weekend, and it wasn't overly crowded which was nice. Overall it was a fun experience Some tips: If your stones seem to be getting stuck down the lane, ask the attendant to move you to another lane. That's what we did and it made all the difference Explore the rest of bustling Old Town Scottsdale. There's literally something for everyone, and definitely check out the Frybread Lounge for some great Native American fusion cuisine Chee

This went above and beyond any expectations, but they didn't want the guys hungry.) Guests marveled over the beauty of the entire venue, especially with the glorious sunset and twinkling lights in the trees. The food was absolutely delicious, not your standard event food, and I heard several people remark they had never had a wedding meal this good. Our photographer told us that every meal there was excellent, but our guests especially raved over the almond-crusted chicken tenders, an add-on dish, and the horseradish mashed potatoes. The flow of events from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to cake to dancing to send off was flawless; our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The yard games were thoroughly enjoyed; no one was ever 'bored' waiting for the next event. There was a wedding party in the large restaurant area that we passed on the way to our table in a separate area. The table was set with care and the rose petals were such a thoughtful touch! As a European I was pleasantly surprised by a small velvet covered stool, placed by my side, for my purse: these touches made the evening even more memorable. No rushing to seat more people or a check arriving while still deciding if something else was going to be ordered. I do enjoy a real meal in a real restaurant, with table linens, linen napkins, the proper glasses, the good silverware. Nick was taking care of our table and was very attentive to anything we may have needed. The cocktails we had were the " Ready, Fire, Aim" with rye whiskey, Drambuie, St Remy and bitters, and the "Dr Vincent's Penicillin" with scotch, lemon, honey, ginger and Laphroaig spritz: both were delicious. For the meal I had the Risotto made with Carnaroli rice, oyster mushrooms, truffle and asparagus; for me the risotto was just a bit over but it was creamy and all of it eaten! The Scallop Ceviche was fabulous, thinly sliced served with auicos, sliced jalapeño, leche de tigre : my chile allergy wouldn't let me taste this dish, but my partner ate it all so definitely good :) The main course consisted of the prime Filet for me, cooked perfectly!! to my medium-rare with emphasis on rare, served on pommes purée and enjoyed to the last bite; the other order was for the dry smoked Branzino (sea bass) with olive tapenade, artichoke and tomato: the fish was so moist and tasty, the skin crispy, and was presented beautifully. For dessert we shared the "Milk and Honey" which is a twist on panna cotta with brown buttercream and honeycomb. With dessert I had my usual after dinner espresso with a shot Sambuca to go with it. Thank you Nick for taking such good care of us. A perfect meal and ambiance for a special night
