We had a team building event here and it was a lot of fun! Our team played the ice curling which was fun. The room is a little chilly so I would recommend bringing a sweater or jacket. There are waiters to take drink and food orders while you play which is nice. The food isn't anything too special just bar food, nothing too fancy. They also have duckpin bowling, which was lots of fun. My first time playing and it's more fun the regular bowling.

Had a team work event here and it was a blast! I think it's really neat they have ice curling in addition to axe throwing and duckpin bowling. This will be a great spot in the summer as it's all indoor fun. The area can get busy as it's in downtown Scottsdale but it's easy to find. Check-in was easy and the employees were super friendly and welcoming. We even ordered some food items and definitely recommend the funnel fries! I'd love to bring the family back for some fun! Thank you.

I went here for a group event earlier this month and had a blast here! I love how Lane Park uses their space and how fun their activities were. When you walk in, the check-in process is super smooth and quick. After that, we were able to do some curling, axe throwing, and duck-pin bowling. Each area is clean and well kept, with staff constantly making themselves available to you should you have any questions. Extra shout out to the staff that helped us learn how to properly curl and axe throw, they were patient and friendly. I love that we could also grab food and a drink while we were playing around. This is such a great place to host a group of friends or work teams! Bonus Points: Drinks were affordable, there is a lot of availability for lanes during the week, and there is lots of free parking nearby.

I don't know if I can ever go back to traditional bowling after this.. how nice to avoid yucky bowling shoes and sore fingers!! We had a great time with our team of 7 people at Lane Park. We tried all three activities, and here's a breakdown: Duckpin bowling: 5-stars. So, so awesome. Think ski ball meets bowling. Smaller balls to throw down at the pins, with a raised bowling lane like ski ball, but all the same scoring etc. as bowling. This felt like such a elevated fun experience, you won't regret it! Axe throwing: 2-stars (probably because I am NOT good at this!). I would stray away from this as your main activity if you are not experienced, or have a team that's never done it before. It was a while before our team got the hang of it, and fun was not really had during the process :-P Ice curling: 5-stars. I was pleasantly surprised by this one, because the room is pretty chilly, and I thought everyone would get a little annoyed at being cold, but we all had a great time. Also, they offer 3 free large jackets for people to use at any time, which was a HUGE help, and a really nice touch. Think shuffle board meets curling. You don't have to get on the ice which is awesome.. .their onsite team helps you re-rack the game and keep score for you which was another nice touch. We had a blast getting competitive with this game, highly recommend!! (just tell your group to dress in close toes shoes and a jacket!).

My friends and I did a thing Saturday night and that would be ice curling! After spotting a quick reel on IG that Lane Park had made recently, we all thought, "What? You can do this here?" and we made reservations! We thought it was something just for Winter Olympics, but now us regular people can partake in the sport too. You should think that this "sport" would be easy but I greatly underestimated how tough it would be sliding 40-ish pound granite stones across ice such a long way. It seems like giant shuffleboard almost with slightly different rules but more physical. I had to use two hands while on my knees to effectively push the stone. My husband, well, he effortlessly did it one handed but sometimes too strong. There was definitely a balance! Christian helped gather the granite stones at the end of each round and got them into place to start again. He helped reviewed rules with us and some techniques and how to score. He maintains the ice itself! It's "his baby" he said and takes very good care of it. He was so awesome! He was our judge and tie breaker at times because my friends and I got pretty competitive! Lol! Caity was the lovely bartendress and the first one to greet us and check us in. She was so helpful and so good at making sure we had drinks and food if needed throughout our stay there! The decor was fun inside and there were other games like duck pin bowling and axe throwing available if we wanted to stay longer. The prices for ice curling were $20 per person per hour which isn't that bad if you think about it. We had so much fun and will definitely return!

Still very new! I felt that even though it may seem obvious that it will be cold while you play ice luge/curling that you could remind those who book to dress warm or bring a sweater if playing luge/curling. It was very wet in there and I'm guessing most don't want to kneel in water to play the game. Christian was very helpful but we also learned that every host in there has or honors different house rules. I would post the rules and make sure each host knows the rules. When Christian's peer took over she had different rules. Also the bumper/sides/lanes are broken and probably should be stronger. This might be a great place to go in the summer to stay cool, we were freezing. Food was ok...only had sliders and chicken strips and the strawberry vodka drink. Although it wasn't too busy in there our server seemed annoyed with us. I know you are new and things will get better. Great place to go on a date or bring your friends. The curling room gets crowded if all 4 lanes are booked. Thankfully we went on.a Wednesday.

We loved going to Lane Park. We had a great experience there. We got to try curling, and ax throwing. It was a great spot to go to with teenagers. And we had a couple appetizers which were fantastic. All the way around I highly recommend this place to have some family time and or it would be a great date night Place.

Had a great experience at Lane Park! Loved the pizza, the homemade potato chips with the onion dip and the prickly pear margarita! Great for a group event!

Staff was friendly and helped us. It was fun trying something new like ice curling! Only thing was that it was dead on a Friday night, we were the only group for the two hours we were there. We asked for a shot but they had already shut down their payment system because they were closing early. Hope they can stay in business!

Chris the curling attendant was amazing. Very patient with all our questions. Helpful and made the experience so fun and unique.

The restaurant is trendy, stylish, and undeniably cute. I especially got a kick out of the little lamps on the tables that turn red when you want a tableside martini. We aren't drinkers, but I thought it was a fun and clever touch. One thing that surprised me right away was that bread wasn't included. Instead, we were served some crunchy snacks to munch on. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I'd much rather have warm bread. It feels simpler, tastier, and more welcoming. For appetizers, we ordered the burrata and calamari. Both were tasty, but the peppers in the calamari packed a serious punch. I wish there had been a little warning about the spice level because it definitely caught me off guard. Then again, I suppose anything called "Sexy Roman" has to bring a little heat. For dinner, we shared the chicken parm and the lobster pasta. The chicken parm was decent, though I found the chicken a bit tough. The lobster pasta was flavorful and well prepared, but once again, quite spicy. At least that time we knew what we were getting into. Service was fine, but not exceptional. I was inhaling water to cool down from all the spice and had to ask for refills multiple times, which felt like an easy thing to stay ahead of. In the end, there wasn't anything terrible about the experience. The food was good, the atmosphere was fun, and the concept is unique. But between the high prices, smaller portions, and service that didn't quite match the upscale vibe, I don't think we'll be rushing back.

We sat outside in the evening shade for a nice gathering. We shared the Cuban Caesar salad with romaine, manchego cheese, sliced pears, toasted pepitas, masa croutons, avocado, fried plantain chips and Aji amarillo Caesar. The salad was crisp, well dressed and delicious with the fried / curled plantain chips. The shrimp cerviche with fried plantains, blue corn tortilla chips, lime, cilantro and cucumber pico de gallo was ok but not remarkable. Our final selection was the Gaucho spiced skirt steak with chimichurri, and masa potato cakes. The steak was overcooked, not medium rare, bland taste and tough. The potato cake was tasteless. Overall, the ambience and service was good, however, the food lacks any hint of Cuban flare except for the fried plantains. When I think of Cuban food, I salivate for the unique taste profiles with a hint of sweetness from the fruits. At The canal Club, I found it non-existing. The name, setting, and environment is good but the kitchen needs to let in on the theme being Cuban.

If you're doing a celebration, they give you a small box of four chocolate truffles. The parking garage nearby is free. Highlights: I think Pinyon is a top restaurant in the valley for sure. I've been here twice, but I have very little complaints with the food. My favorites are the chicken skewers which are so tender and juicy and I love the lentil rice that comes with it. The shareable hummusiya platter is really fun. I usually like to get one hummus, the baba ghanoush and the pistachio labneh if they have it. The lobster salad is also really refreshing and delicious. I love the variety of foods that's offered here. The service is also exceptional and they are so kind and attentive. We were celebrating a birthday and they let us bring in a cake and were so on top of bringing us extra cutlery and dishes and even keeping the box for us in case we had leftovers. Lowlights: It's definitely a spendier meal than usual - I would come for celebrations and not just a casual dinner. I think the least worth it items are the patatas bravas because you only get six, the chicken schnitzel because it's a very small portion, the shashuka was overwhelmingly salty. Sadly, our oysters did have sand and some shell pieces in them.
