This place has it down- you get a scalp massage, followed by neck and arms, and by then you're asleep (and if you're me, snoring!) while they work on your feet. The name is cute but the work done at this reflexology spa is serious business. Elizabeth provided a theraputic and soothing foot and leg massage that had my feet tingling for hours afterwards. The setting is peaceful and safe and if I lived on-island, I'd be scheduling treatments often. Be sure to pay for the extra Chinese cleansing tea ($ 1.00 ) that is poured into your foot bath. I really like this place and will definitely be back. It's across the way from Starbucks in central Kihei. They start off with a 10 minute scalp massage that's really relaxing while your feet are soaking in hot water. The foot massage was amazing. I'd really recommend this as it was the first time I ever had one and had a headache. Felt great when I left. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it's small. However, the price is really fair and easy to get an appointment. Definitely worth checking this place out as I was very impressed. Again, I had a headache when I came in and left feeling so much better. I'll definitely be back so I'd recommend this spot to anyone who wants to feel good and relaxed. I had high hopes for this place after reading other reviews, however I rate my 45min foot massage as "basic". The older gentlemen that did my massage was just that gentle.. too gentle! As read in another comment, someone mentioned "long holds", I believe we had the same masseuse. This guy had longgg periods of just holding my foot! 37sec I counted. I often would move so he could get the hint. I wasn't a fan of he soft sweaty feeling hands, it made the experience really uncomfortable. At the beginning of the massage he began with my face, I was not a fan at all.. again soft sweaty feeling hands on my face... really grossed out. However, towards the end of my massage I actually fell into a light sleep so yea it was okay... I would not got back to that gentleman I would maybe another. Never again... not even if it was free. So, on my lovely vacation i decided to give this place a go. The price for the reflexology is comparable to what is charged in so cal, so i figured hey why not.. Here is why not: Happy parts: :) #1 ---The owners were really nice. I had some trouble finding the place and the people i talked to were very helpful. That's all the smiles they gets. Sad Faces: :( #1 -- The massage was 1 hour long and i am not joking at all when i tell you the lady ( i think her name was Angelique. I cant even remember. she wore a purple scarf on her head) rubbed by face for like 20 minutes. It was weird. She just was putting lotion on my face and not even doing anything. What a waste. :( #2 --- So.. The whole serene experience was super bad. While she gave me the never-ending face rub, my feet were soaking in a bin. That was nice. However, when it came time to massage my feet- she took my feet out the basin, wrapped them in a towel and then left to wash the basin. She was gone for about 7 minutes!! ALSO.. my chair was right next to where she was washing it. so she cut on the light and there was a bunch of clinking and clanging while she was washing- it was so weird. #3--- For my foot massage, she used one of those things you buy to give your self a massage. It looks like a car and you put your hand on top of it to roll around your body (i dont know what its called). Who the heck uses that at a professional massage place. it was just so random. I kept felling the thing slide off my foot. So weird. #4-- The light kept coming on and off like 3 times. Just weird. WEIRD!!! Angry Faces: See all the sad faces above. Love this place for relaxation! It is reasonably priced and they hit most of your pressure points. The one hour always includes HOT STONE massage, which is awesome! As far as I know, it's also the only business of it's kind on the island. This is my splurge when I'm stressed out. I have had some really wonderful reflexology in ARIZONA and Nor Cal, and this is comparable (except smaller). The one hour reflexology could be improved if you laid on your stomach and they could do more work on your back/shoulders/neck. Also giving 4 instead of 5 because it's a bit cramped on the foot spa side (massages are in their own rooms). I will be back! read more

My first foot reflexology and was good. I love foot massages but this was the best by far even though I wanted it to be with their hand. I could really feel the knots and kinks in my arches.i almost fell asleep a few times. This place has nice staff and they do a great job. Wendy gave me a lovely foot massage today and it felt great. I was jet lagged and asked if the foot massage was a whole body massage. My back was aching so I wanted to be sure this was included. The nice guy at the reception explained that it was a full body and listed off the body parts that were included. Honestly, I have never had a foot massage where you don't flip over. In short, if you are coming from the mainland and want your back massaged, do NOT get a foot massage, get the table massage instead. This is not very clearly described on their menu- minus one star. Also, if you are used to paying $20, like most of us on the mainland be prepared to spend about 3 times more here. Yes, I know you're on holiday, so you should treat yourself. Not a biggy but also be prepared to pay a fee for using your credit card and Hawaiian taxes (which add another $4-6 bucks to the total). read more

Like many other reviews said, Teresa is the lady you wanna go with. Her massage is pretty great, there is a sense of continuity with her touch and pressure. She also checked several times with me to make sure the pressure is perfect during my 90 min body massage when a lot of other people just check with you once early on in the massage. I'm not one to fall asleep during massages and I ALMOST did when she was working on my leg. The private room I was in was dimly lit for mood and music was soothing and pleasant. Very disappointing. This place was great 2 years ago, but things have really changed. I made an appointment with "Linda" but when I arrived there was no "Linda" I was lead to a room and told to undress and lay face down, which I did. Then "surprise" a male therapist comes in, when I asked where in Linda? There was dead silence. I persisted, but my words were ignored. After about 5 minutes of lackluster massage, I got up and left. We are foot massage addicts and have our favorite spots back home. With a couple hours notice we booked two 60 minute foot massage appointments. My wife was pleased with Andy as her therapist and loved the hot stones. Well I can fully attest that Elizabeth delivered the best foot massage I have ever had. She went deeper into my feet than I would typically be able to tolerate but held the pressure right at the threshold of pleasure and pain. She never crossed that line and made me squirm. I didn't fall asleep either because she had me in a deep state of relaxation without going completely out and missing it either. So kudos to Elizabeth. I was really upset that I sprained my ankle the first day on vacation. I did the ibuprofen, ice and rest but it still hurt to walk on and I didn't want to hobble around Maui for the next week. I use to live in Vegas and had a great place that I went to for reflexology, but when I moved to Maui I wasn't sure I'd find some place good. This was the only reflexology place that seemed legit, so I went once and I've been going since (probably for the last year). Other reflexology places have popped up, but this is my constant go to despite being all the way in Kihei. THE SPACE - The ambiance is good. It's a small space, so sometimes it's annoying when people come by, but otherwise it's pretty quiet and just dark enough. THE STAFF - The main guy/receptionist is really nice and easy to talk to. I've never had trouble scheduling or issues with getting squeezed in. I don't pick and choose who I get when I go. I take whoever I get, but I've never been disappointed. They are all pretty good. THE EXPERIENCE - I have had a full body massage once, which was mediocre. I've had a lot of massages in my lifetime, so it's hard to impress me. That being said if you want a massage... it's a massage and I would go again (especially because the price is right), so no complaints about that. Reflexology is really why I come here and it's pretty good. I had a really great guy in Vegas I would see, so it's hard to top, but they do pretty good and are fairly consistent in their approach. It's also pretty consistent with other places I've gone to. The pressure they use hasn't been as hard as I'm use to and that's been consistent. I'm sure I could probably ask for more pressure, but I rather let them do what they do. I think that is the only thing I feel like I'm missing here. THE COST - Now this is the big reason I love this place. It's fairly priced. I can't complain about much of anything because it's pretty damn cheap. MY RATING - I give this place 4 stars because it's worth every dime and this place is such a treat for me when I'm having a crappy week. I didn't give it a 5 because I've been to better places (but that was in Vegas). For Maui I think this is THE BEST place. read more

I definitely recommend Footsie Reflexology! The atmosphere is nice and soothing. The moment you walk in there, a lot of stress and tension gets relieved. They have a nice and quiet environment with calming music in the background. The staff is very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable with what they do. I scheduled my appointment for my step-father for a deep tissue massage with Nicky and he was really impressed with her work. He was so relaxed, before you knew it, he was out cold and literally snoring. Probably the best sleep he's had in a short amount of time compared to a week's worth of sleep at home. His body was relieved from a lot of muscular tension, therefore he had a much better time sleeping when he got home at night. Peaceful and professional place for hour-long massages! Got a full body massage from Theresa ($70+) and a "foot" massage from Elizabeth ($50). The full body massage gets you a private room and special focus areas if you need it. The "foot" massage comes with some care for the face, neck, shoulders, lots on the feet and some on the legs. They even use hot stones to really get the pressure points on the feet open. Elizabeth was able to tell areas that were more sensitive and focused on those without asking any questions. She was friendly and applied consistent pressure throughout the entire hour. Highly recommended! read more

I have been going to Footsie since I moved to Maui in 2012 . They only have the best masseuses and I am grateful because I LOVE massages. The staff is very knowledgable and let me know which styles of massages were safe during the progression of my pregnancies. After an extremely difficult workout or day in the water, I always head to Footsie for recovery. Of course I have favorite masseuses but all are wonderful! Teresa fixes virtually ANY muscle pain and don't let her petite frame fool you, she's VERY strong. Wendy is VERY good and Andy is my favorite male masseuse- I prefer female masseuses but if none are available, I am more than pleased with Andy. Enjoy! read more

Awful. 4 of us got foot massages. The 2 that had women massage them were happy. The two of us that had men massage us were not. I could not wait to be done. Picture a cold rock being put between your toes. Repeatedly. Here was what I felt for 30 minutes. Light rubbing of the calves ( effleurage , as if someone was putting sunscreen on you) then jabbing repeatedly at my heels with the edge of the rock. Then holding my foot tight in 3 places for 30 second holds. It's really too bad that they don't hire better masseurs ( or train them better). I am airline crew and get to the island several times a month. I could have recommended them to my coworkers but I will not. I have gotten foot massages on my layovers all over the world. This is on the top 3 of the worst. If you are considering going there, know that it's more expensive than any foot massage place anywhere I have ever been. L.A. or N.Y. even. They charge you $2 to use your CC. And they charge you almost $5.00 in income tax. Something I have never seen anywhere in the U.S. a tax on a service. They stated Hawaii charges it to them. ‍. Anyways if the massage was good I would not have even noticed those things I am sure. But if you decide to go, maybe make an appointment with a woman massage therapist. The person with me who also had a man has since read the yelp reviews and believes he had the " long fingers" masseur and he too, was not happy with his massage. read more

I don't like the fancy massages. I like the deep, kneading, types. Came here for a massage, asked for trigger point deep tissue and got lucky with Teresa as my massage therapist. One of the best massages I've ever received. She knew about where I had knots and how to untie them. If I lived here, I would come here at least once a week. This place when it comes to massages did a good job. I only gave it a 2 stars because of the front desk. We asked several times about the price and what we wanted and he reassured me what we would be paying. When we got done he over charged us and changed what he had said.
