I've been seeing Sarah for about a year now and feel that I can give a thorough review...she is amazing! I was refered to Sarah by a friend, and she has treated both my husband and me with massage several times. She has been reliable, personable and knowledgeable. She has mostly treated our garden variety tension and aches, and we have both greatly appreciated having a reasonably priced local practitioner so that we do not need to go to a spa and pay crazy prices. This also allows us to get therapeutic massage on a more regular basis. Over the summer I developed a terrible case of plantar fasciitis that persisted for nearly two months despite wearing my orthotics, icing and stretching. When I mentioned it to Sarah, she was able to zero in on the issue, specifically a deep muscle in my calf that was in knots! She also advised pragmatic solutions specific to my injury. Within about one week after the treatment, and following her suggestions at home, I was 90% improved! Within two weeks I was back to normal and able to resume my regular active lifestyle. So yeah .... did a karate chop in the shower while trying to shave my legs. Always having unexpected fun over here! To elaborate (for giggles and also a stellar review), my right leg slipped in the tub while I was shaving my left leg, high above where it should have been located; past the12 inch max space that you can utilize for soap or any shampoo/ conditioner of your preference, orrrrr as I would like to reference that location as the Shower Game Spot- because we all thoroughly enjoy playing, "Will the Soap Stay in Place Today". For you Math lovers, let's just say my leg was wayyyyy past the standard height of the 48-60 inch said "soap dishes". Hopefully you see the fun is about to start. So, I slip (I'd like to add for my own ego I have never slipped prior, hm- hmm) and upon feeling the accelerated force & motion as I was lunging forward, I became a full-on, green-light-go, real life mofo ninja .... yea buddy. I caught the slipping in its act, karate chopped my left foot into the bottom of the basin tub, flailed both arms (in true ninja fashion) and caught myself from falling. Now, I will say the shampoo/conditioner bottles went flying and my left foot hurt like hell, but I figured that was the price to pay for being a mofo ninja .... and I thought "yeaaaaa, I'm awesome, that was slickkkk and I'm all good"; but what I wasn't expecting was the 40 mile an hour whiplash I gave myself, for- let's say it together kids-"for being a mofo ninja". Whiplash in the shower .... that's a new one for me, but I'm always up for some excitement in the least expected places. Ok, so here comes the review-THANK GOD FOR MY THERAPEUTIC RELIEF OIL I purchased from Sarah, who hand makes it!!! As a reiki master and epic masseuse (as well as all her other long list of talents), I believe she really knows what the body needs and when it needs to heal. This morning I was in horrible pain (in true whiplash form) and that pain and discomfort had started hitting me last night. I wasn't looking forward to the work day ahead but I remembered to use her therapeutic oil, and I cannot say this enough ..... it completely worked. I did not take any pain meds, muscle relaxers or anything other than applying her cream. It was smooth, easy to self- apply and work into the skin with gentle massage. Firstly, I was browsing through massage therapists in the area I was currently residing in, and one of the therapists I checked out went by the name of Jessica. After I found Sarah, I made the honest mistake of referring to her as "Jessica" because my condition can cause me to have brain fog. Where exactly is the "scam" that Sarah is referring to here? As you can see, she not once gave me the information she claimed to, but merely displayed confusion at the message, nor did I request a service that day, even when I corrected myself and apologized, she did not bother responding back to me, even during "proper business" hours. This "information" she even claimed to have given me is not even found in her website. This "professional" has the audacity to not only accuse me of lying when she didn't even bother telling me about not accepting new clients, but she also resorts to putting me down in a junior high manner, I could care less if others think you're the most kind and compassionate person in the world, your behavior here has not made the slightest good impression contradictory to your suppose craft and age. Snark all you want, but lost business is a far bigger blow to the owner than the client. Don't bother doing business with someone this petty and disingenuous. read more
