You'll find a co-owner of Forage responding to a review from the other day accusing a customer of "spreading misinformation" after a claim that COVID guidelines are not followed here. If you've stepped foot into Forage since the regulations were introduced, you'll know the reviewer was correct in pointing this out. I personally have witnessed employees purposefully not wearing masks while taking orders and I know I'm not alone in observing this. They also misled customers during a statewide shutdown last winter and allowed for indoor dining to continue despite it being restricted (it cost them a sweet $9k fine to OSHA for violating these rules, by the way). Oh Sweet Forage, whom I regretfully have given a lot of money to in the past: in carefully chosen, very toned down words, it is...really not cool to open a café by begging the community for funding only to turn around and betray that same community by deliberately not showing the easiest form of respect to your customers during a pandemic that's killed half a million people in this country. And then you double down and continue to lie to us on Yelp. It is not misinformation by literally just observing and pointing out the embarrassing missteps you bring onto yourselves. There are many lovely coffeeshops in the Rogue Valley who care about your health, won't gaslight you on the internet, and follow state laws...what a concept. Go to one of those instead. read more

It's okay. Menu is very small. Only a few food items. Coffee was okay. Can't warm up muffins--unless you want to wait. They use an oven! Plenty of seating--chairs, and tables. They also have outlets available in various places. Lots of light inside. Outdoor seating is covered and plentiful. read more

Forage is by far the best coffee shop in Medford! They have excellent service and killer specialty coffee. If you are looking for a good hangout spot with friends or a place to study, Forage is the place for you. PS. If you love plants and local handmade goods. YAY FOR FANTASTIC COFFEE IN THE VALLEY FINALLY!!!! Great coffee, decent service. They use Case coffee roasters here and I'm glad they do, makes it easier being in CP and not have to go all the way to Ashland for a great latte or mocha. What a cool place! One of few places open on 4th of July. We'd never been here and found them by driving around. We were looking for a substantial breakfast which unfortunately they don't serve. Forage Coffee is soooo cute, and they have amazing coffee! The thing that's keeps me coming back is how adorable it is. It used to be a gas station and is now converted into a coffee shop with lots of windows and natural lighting, and plenty of outdoor seating. They've got a cool chair hanging from the ceiling inside, and couches and tables to sit at and work or just enjoy a coffee and cookie. Employees are always so so nice and helpful. Also, this coffee shop also sells plants and cute trinkets (I guess that's what you'd call them), which makes it even more appealing in my opinion. I don't like the taste of Case coffee and so I do really hope that they switch to a new bean, but everything else about this place is really cool. As you can tell, Medford is in dire need of nice places to go that aren't chain restaurants. So even though I don't drink their coffee, I'd happily support Forage. read more

Would get a 5 but they don't enforce mask wearing at all, even employees. Masks are to be worn when NOT ACTIVELY EATING OR DRINKING. People sit there for hours on their computers inside, no mask, not drinking or eating and they are all too close together.... zero social distancing. Otherwise really like it. Best coffee in town by FAR. Forage is always our go to stop for craft coffee. In my opinion, they have the best coffee experience Medford has to offer. Pulling up to Forage Coffee I was instantly impressed! The building is a cute remodeled garage with clean and colorful features. The barista was extremely kind and gave great suggestions. While waiting for our delicious iced tea and americano it was very fun to look at the decor and cards they have on display. The Barista's were quick with our drinks and even let us sample there amazing chocolate chip cookies! Overall I was highly impressed and will be going here as often as I can! read more

Not very many drink or food options, but if you are just wanting the basics with very rich tasting coffee, this place is for you. We got about an espresso, a chai, and an americano for about 10.50$. The environment is honestly very cute. You can tell how they transformed a previous auto shop/gas station into a really nice coffee shop. The atmosphere is the type of place you want to go to, to relax. It's very cozy and I will definitely go again and try one of their baked goods. read more
