All the companies I called charged, what I felt were, incredibly high prices for the unit and the install...until I called dFlo. Danny has an A rating on Angie's list, and he sounded like a good plumber to me, so I called him. His prices were extremely fair and definitely more in line with what my husband and I had thought we should pay for the water heater and the install. Our house needed a 50,000 BTU, 50 gallon natural gas water heater with a power vent, so my husband and I knew the unit would be expensive up-front; I had researched and had seen various unit prices online. Danny got us a great unit (same one some of the expensive companies were going to put in), the right size, with the specs we needed and wanted, he installed it the same day, and he was extremely professional, detailed, courteous, and focused. I saved hundreds of dollars (between $370 and $800 when compared with the quotes I had gotten from other plumbing companies in the area) by going with dFlo for our water heater and installation, and the unit is perfect! When the other companies tell you, "that's just the going rate for the type of water heater you need with the install," don't buy what they're saying or their products and services. The tech took care of the clog and cleaned up after him self, final cost very expensive even after the coupons. The Plumber showed up a couple hours later (while everyone was sleeping) and replaced the flange and 90° fitting in the crawl space (very noisy) and reinstalled the toilet, the price he quoted was shocking, it seemed strange that he was able to negotiate the price down to $575 which was still very expensive. Overall complaint would be cost and the plumber left a bit of a mess, he left the toilet bolts long and didn't reinstall the bolt covers.

I was using my home warranty program, so JL Mechanical was assigned to me as their vendor.
