June 2023, about 8 PM on a Saturday night, Coconino Nat'l Forest dirt road, about 30 miles north of Flagstaff. Due to an undercut roadside hidden by vegetation, my vehicle high-centered, and I was unable to dig it out. AAA referred me to AM/PM. They came out with a big 4-wheel drive tow truck. Due to the character of the road, the recovery was a bit complicated, but the tow driver was able to use a winch to pull the vehicle clear. As there was no damage to the vehicle, it could then be driven. Sometimes life's problems are a bit too much to handle by oneself. I was glad AM/PM Towing was available. For about 4 hours use of their tow truck and driver, and his expertise, the charge was $400, which was understandable. read more

Tonight I was at the mall and came out to find my battery dead. I called, told them my location and within a very reasonable time a young man showed up. I believe his name was Damian. He was courteous and professional, and once we realized that the battery was DEAD, he towed me back to my dads house. When I was getting ready to climb into the truck he opened the door for me and asked if I needed assistance since it is a couple of steps getting up into the truck. This entire situation was handled in the most professional way possible and he was extremely professional and friendly!! The prices are reasonable and I recommend anyone that needs roadside assistance or a tow to use this company! read more

Being told that a tow truck (flatbed or not) cannot come down a dirt road is beyond stupid. There are **way** too many dirt roads in Flagstaff And the lady on the phone was super-rude p.s. 1 hour later -- my friend Lisa picked me up and brought me (and my dog) home -- I called United Towing and left a message. He called me right back, came to my house, picked me up, drove to the place where my Jeep was, in his flat-bed tow truck and jumped my Jeep, then as a courtesy he followed me all the way back to my residential turn-off to make sure nothing else went wrong. That's service and AM/PM should take a lesson. BTW I called her twice and on the second call she hung up on me--cutting me off mid-sentence! read more

The company is so lazy, i'm slightly offended. My buddy got his car towed from NAU (unrelated) but we ended up here trying to get his vehicle and after arriving at 11:30 he noticed a *closed* sign on the window. He called the number and was told the worker was at lunch and would be back in less than 20 minutes. It is now 12:15 (45 minutes later) and we are still waiting. I also saw one man walk in while we were waiting but he told us he wasn't able to work the lock This company will not impress you and they might not even help you at all. I work for a major business in Flagstaff. Today, we had an "incident" with a semi-truck driver at one of our buildings. Apparently it was his first day driving, and he managed to get his huge unweildy truck stuck in the mud AND almost took out one of our fire hydrants . We put him in touch with AMPM towing and they arrived quicker than you could say "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!" The tow driver was awesome and professional. He helped problem solve the situation and get this huge stuck semi-truck out! The cherry on top was when the cool tow truck driver encouraged the silly semi-truck driver to fill in the dirt his tires kicked up, haha! Zach was Great! Highly recommend Ampm towing! My insurance said the driver would arrive in 60 minutes and Zach arrived in around 10 minutes and completed the job way faster than expected. He was very nice! I will choose ampm for any future towing needs. Hopefully not anytime soon though. read more

Saw one of their trucks recently and remembered to leave the Yelp review I forgot to do. Around September/November my car broke down on the side of the road near a busy intersection so I called this company to be towed to my apartment maybe 5 miles up the road. Woman I spoke to over the phone was super nice but the driver that showed up was incredibly rude, drove recklessly, and had I not damn near jumped in his truck he probably would've taken off with my car without me. These guys can tow big vehicles that other towing companies can't. I know because my 13,000 pound army truck broke down on the outskirts of Flagstaff. The company that was dispatched by Arizona Highway Patrol showed up and just laughed -- no way could they haul it. But they did recommend trying AM/PM Towing, so I did. Our truck got stuck off woody mountain road and no other towing company even entertained the idea of helping extract our truck from the mud and ice. The driver was super cool and helped us out. They were fantastic. Yesterday was horrible because I got into an accident which totaled my car. Thankfully, my car was taken to AM/PM Towing & Recovery so gathering my belongings before signing the vehicle over to the insurance company was easy and pain free. The lady who assisted me at the front window was incredibly helpful, and understanding as my vehicle is both registered to me and my husband even though we do not share the same last name. Lucky at AM/PM towing rescued us from a forest service road off highway 89, when other companies had refused. After having trouble with other companies, I asked the forest service for a recommendation and they thankfully gave me AM/PM towing number. The dispatcher reassured me the driver was familiar with the area and roads and knew our location. He came within the 90 minutes that the dispatcher told me he would, was very professional and knowledgeable, took great care with our car and even dropped us off at our hotel without charge after he dropped our car off at the dealer. I thought the rates were reasonable and he gave us a generous military discount for being a military family, which we greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this company for a professional and safe towing experience. read more

The female dispatcher was rude and not helpful at all. The tow truck driver calls from a "no caller ID" number, so it's not possible to call him back directly. Because of the dispatcher's incompetence, and insistence on being the "go-between" (can you say power trip?), valuable time was wasted, and my car was towed to the wrong address. I had tried to set everting up last night, with repair shops closed, and gave them my daughter's address, but because the driver couldn't find the car at the pick up location, I was trying to put out that fire, instead of getting the repair shop lined up. In the meantime, am/pm didn't tell me the driver had found the car and completed the tow, so I wasn't able to get the repair shop info to them on time. Dispatcher said I'd have to get a separate "re-tow". Fortunately, when I explained all this to my insurance company, they had sympathy and apologized (not something this am pm dispatcher would ever do), and we will now be using CC towing. If I could give less than one star, to am pm towing, I would. read more

When on a conference call with our insurance company, getting permission to move our vehicle to a repair shop, the AmPm staffer said "I'm just glad everyone is ok!". Our six year old locked our keys in the car while at Arizona Snowbowl over Memorial Day weekend while there celebrating a wedding. AM/PM was quick to respond once dispatched by our insurance company. I think the whole process, from calling our insurance company to having an unlocked car, took less than an hour. Jake was very friendly and professional. The part of actually unlocking the car took just minutes. Terrible service my bf and I were given terrible attitude when we showed up the day after the accident both on crutches. The attendant would only allow me the registered owner to enter to collect our belongings with no help regardless of the fact that I was on crutches. After I got our belongings out and tried to crutch my way back with a handful of stuff we were meet with even worse service as she yelled at my bf and my friends who were driving me. She requested that they leave the premises while I was inside, basically asking them to abandon me. Only for her to call the police who showed up and then asked if we wanted to all be escorted in to finish what we needed. She threatened to have them arrest my boyfriend which they refused stating no laws were broken. And made false claims of my boyfriend calling the night of the accident and yelling at her yet we were both in the icu all night being treated. Never in my life was that much disrespect and lack of compassion something I experienced from a business. So sad..... read more

I had broken down and my spouse came to help and my car drained his car's battery, so we were down 2 vehicles. I called this company because they advertise on FlagScanner, thinking they were a reputable company. When I called and explained my situation, the woman who answered told me that it was $65 for the tow and $65 to jump our other vehicle. I said really $65 for a jump? She said yes, like everyone charged that. Well, I said I'll have to call you back and she just hung up, no good-bye or nothing. The next company I called, United Towing, was more than gracious and said they would charge $25 for the jump if anything at all. Needless to say I will never use AM/PM Towing for trying to take advantage of their customers in not ideal situations. There are way better companies that are not just out to make a buck. read more

Our van blew it's motor 10 miles west of Williams around 8 p.m. We called AM/PM Towing and they sent out Brian to help us. Keep in mind there no hotel rooms available in Williams or Flagstaff. Brian was kind enough to exhaust all of his resources to find us a room in the area. Without any luck on finding a room thru his resources. We stopped at a motel 6 just west of Flagstaff. They had a room, but the catch was it was the last one & the heater was not working. The low that night was 16. But it was better than sleeping in the van. Brian recommended a mechanic shop in town and a taxi driver to get us to the mechanic in the morning. We ended up trading the van in at a dealership in Flagstaff. Brian even followed up with us each day until we got home. It is great to know that there are still good, caring people in this world. I would highly recommend AM/PM Towing if you are in need of them in this area. read more
