This business has had 3 owners over the years it's been open. The new owners are very very good at their jobs. Chad had run Mirror Pond Cleaners in Bend for years when ownership changed he moved on and bought Ford Cleaners.All of the negative reviews you may see are from the previous owner. The new owners have received only 5 star reviews. You won't find a cleaner with more experience and knowledge in the art of cleaning clothes than Chad. Lastly I know that he has purchased the latest in drycleaning machines and now offers an organic product that is extemely gentle on your garments and is odorless. Your clothes will last much longer with this system and you will find them softer and cleaner. So consider this a 5 star business. I think he should be able to get the old reviews deleted. read more

I have had Ford Cleaners starch and press my jeans and shirts for years. They always do a great job and are always super nice to deal with. Even when ownership changed a few years ago, the quality of work stayed the same. I travel enough that I have had other cleaners do my clothes in other states and few compare to the value i receive at Ford Cleaners. I like for my jeans to be hard starched with a pleat and for my dress shirts to be medium starched with a pleat. This is how western clothes are done for cattle events, rodeos and dress! These people know this and that is why most people that rodeo or dress western use Ford Cleaners. Thank you to Ford Cleaners for continuing to keep Redmond's western heritage when we are being forced to be changed by many other businesses that came to town. read more

Love Ford cleaners. I had a brand new expensive jeans and I got stain on them. Took a picture of the can of stain. Took the jeans in and showed them what was on them and they got it out no problem. Then this last time I needed a dress altered. They did an amazing job. So friendly and very easy to work with. And very timely. read more

Ok, we HAVE to update our review. We were frustrated at how 'long' it took them to hem items and that they were closed on weekends. But seeing local businesses 'closing' we have to apologize. I had never used a dry cleaners before and was really nervous to send my husbands dress blues out somewhere but they did an awesome job! Very friendly and they had it done pretty fast. Ok wow... Where to begin!? If I could give less than 1 star, I would! Let me start by saying that this is the very first time that I have ever left a review for anything. I only do that now, on this occasion because of the following... This by far is the worse case of terrible service that I have ever received. This is my 1st time using this Dry Cleaner & regardless of the previous mixed reviews I decided to give them benefit of the doubt & give them a try... Bad on me! I dropped of a pair of new Black jeans & a black button down shirt(light starch/shirt only). What I received was a brand new pair of jeans completely ruined. They are now very shrunk & they were starched with creased so much that you could hold them up parallel & they wouldn't bend! (Which he said was the point of starch) I paid my bill & was handed my clothes. Which was when I brought my 1st concern of the creases & extra heavy starch up to the owner & told him this is unacceptable! I told him that I need them the next day for work & his response was that there was nothing that he could do because he already had all of his machines turned off & sending everyone home & he would have to basically start from the beginning to fix it. Mind you, This is at 1pm on a Friday & they are opened till 6pm! I called him after trying on the jeans at home & tried to appeal to his sensibilities & he said he believes his employee over me regarding starch & creases on the jeans & that she said I requested it, regardless of what I said. He offered to meet me half ways & give me $20 to cover the cost of ruining my new jeans & service. I told him, I essentially paid him to ruin my new jeans & thay This isn't about the money for me, this was about the principal of doing the right thing! I told him I would tell everyone about the terrible service & attitude of the owner, his response was, well I guess they will consider the source & that we aren't getting nowhere in this conversation & then hung up on me! Bottom line... DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES OR GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO THIS BUSINESS!!!! You will not be treated fairly, regardless of all of your efforts & good faith. Absolutely, the worse business experience that I have had in this town! Believe the bad reviews because they are TRUE!!! I myself am a Wedding DJ, I understand the importance of providing excellent service. I stay very busy because of word of mouth & great reviews! I have a 5 star rating because of great service! Not even a one star rating. I had my Ralph Lauren queen comforter mended and dry cleaned at Ford Cleaner's on Highland. I also had two Patagonia shirts and a vest mended. Long story short: The mending on all the clothing items ripped out after a couple of washes. The comforter stank like cigarettes after I removed it from the cleaning bag. The mending on the comforter was single stitch and VERY shoddy. I went back to resolve this issue after having paid $130.00 for this terrible work. I am fairly new to Redmond so, decided to try the cleaners that offered a coupon. With supposedly 10% off, I was charged $27 for WASHING, not dry cleaning, a queen sized blanket. Of course, I paid cash and wasn't offered a receipt!! I was half sick when I picked up the blanket so didn't feel like arguing. Anyway, I will tell EVERYONE I can NOT use Ford Cleaners. read more

I have been using this service for many years now and always have had great service. I know them on a first name basis and they are always friendly. My dress shirts and pants always look nice. Only a few times have they left the crease out of my dress pants. They are also easy to get in and out of. read more

I recently took in a hand made bag from Turkey in hopes that they could clean it for me. When I dropped it off I was told that they may not be able to clean it because of the material, but was told they would call me. Totally understandable! However, I never received a call. A few weeks later I stopped in to pick it up. I paid the $15 without looking at the bag, once I got in my car I noticed the bag hadn't been touched. So I went in and asked if they had cleaned it, the girl told me "we cleaned it to the best of our ability." I showed them the stains still on it and asked why it didn't smell like it had been cleaned. A different women came to help out and noticed on the receipt it said the bag was "rejected" thus, nothing had been done to it. I asked for my money back and was told the manager had to be there and they would call me later, I am still waiting on a call. Overall, the the experience with them was unpleasant. There was little to no customer service and the staff was very rude. I understand the situation and would have been happy with a simple "we can't clean this" instead of a runaround and rude service. I will be finding a new place to take my items in the future. read more

I WILL NEVER recommend Ford Cleaners and Tailors in Redmond. So my moms wedding is on Saturday, I'm leaving tomorrow (Thursday) to go down, and I went in to pick up my dress today for the wedding... It was supposed to be ready, yesterday. Mind you, this is the second time it's been sent in. (They've had it in there for a total of about 3 weeks) I go in to pick it up and they inform me they haven't done anything to it, out of fear it would be too small. They did not contact me to tell me so, and the seems they did put in have totally ruined the frame and shape and everything else of my dress, it is six inches too big and it has to be ready by tomorrow. Also when I asked the woman why I was never contacted, she had no answer. My number has been written down for them three times, and each time i gave them my number I was told I would be contacted. The lady was unbelievably rude and had a nasty attitude. They have two locations and I was at both, and had horrible customer service. They've had my dress for over a week for this second time around, and have not touched it this time and never contacted me to tell me so. Now I have no time and a close family friend is now trying to fix it and I may have to buy a dress else wear and it may be completely ruined. I hate even giving them one star. read more

I gave this place a chance and although they fixed my jeans they said it would take a week (no problem) they took down my number and said they'll call me. I waited a week and a half, no call. I decided to check on it myself they said it was ready. I asked them when was it done they told me yesterday. THEN WHY DIDNT I GET A CALL!! I thought ok no biggie I have another zipper for them to fix I give them another chance. This time they told me a week and a half(no problem). I waited 4 weeks for a call. No call. Again I had to go in there and check on it myself. This time they said it was done 2 weeks ago. This this I asked why I didn't get a call. The girl said "oh yeah the girl who does the call backs doesn't always do them" What kind of answer is that?! He's a person you pay to to a job and doesn't do their job.
