The service was great and the shirts were perfect, but $5 perfect shirt is very high. I'm back to washing and ironing shirts.

Had a shirt, vest and jeans pressed for a wedding. They did a great job and had it done when they said they would.

What an incredible dry cleaners do not go anywhere else! I…read moredrive here from the coast and I absolutely love it. They had the best prices and they are the sweetest kindest people I've ever met. I hope they'll be here a long time and if they aren't, I hope their kids or family members will take over because this place is a jewel to find. I love the vintage feel it's old-fashioned, which is really cool. An old parking lot with big shady trees and inside beautiful kind people who will dry clean your clothes perfect. I've never seen my clothes so clean. I can't even believe it because the place I went to before was famous for cleaning clothes in an environmental way And then they closed down. I've gone through two dry cleaners that have closed down. Dry cleaners are extremely important and hard to find. Again, I drive from the coast I hope they're here 10 to 15 years because I'll keep coming back and bringing all my beautiful vintage clothing and coats which they clean so perfectly. They even found my bracelets and put them in a small pouch which I was so happy to find because some people would've stole them so they are very honest And they pack your clothes so carefully. The only thing I wish they didn't do is use as much paper on the hangers, but what can I do? I took all the paper off and recycled it and I'm keeping all the hangers and recycling and returning those as well to another dry cleaner nearby since it's kind of far for me. I don't regret the drive. I really love this place and I will be a good customer here for years and years to come.

I was in bend visiting over new years and the shirt I wanted to wear for New Year's Eve got dirty in my luggage so I took it the day before and they already had it finished by the next morning. I dropped off my dry cleaning a few weeks ago and got it back and noticed they forgot a shirt. No biggie, I thought, I'll just pick it up when I drop off my next batch. Boy was I wrong. I got there today and told them what happened and asked them to look for it. The woman working flat out refused to look for it or even consider that they would have forgotten it. I mean, mistakes happen, but apparently not at Mirror Pond Dry cleaners. This devolved into an actual shouting match and I left without my shirt. I really liked that shirt. I wore it twice. And I know with 100% certainty that I dropped it off. So either it is still there or they mistakenly gave it to someone else. The fact that she refused to even look for it or consider that a mistaken had been made was wild. Obviously I'll find a new dry cleaner, but holy moly. I really am going to miss those tootsie rolls tho.

We've been customers at Mastercraft for almost a dozen years and have had good experiences all…read morearound. Given my hubby and I are both retired from corporate jobs, we don't give this cleaner the work out we did the one in our former home, with business suits and dress shirts and silk blouses in the mix and a regular stop on our "to do" list weekly. But we have used Mastercraft for trousers and cotton shirts and sweaters, from cotton to cashmere, and wool coats with very good outcomes each time. We've also used them for things like ultra big tablecloths I was too intimidated (OK lazy) to launder and iron myself. And most recently for the big test of a spendy Italian made cotton king size bed cover that needed laundering. I was prepared to accept substantial shrinkage on this piece, given the laundering instructions were cold water wash and hand blocking to dry. Happy surprise when Mastercraft beat my expectations and returned it in fine form with negligible shrinkage. The UPSIDE They do consistently good work in my experience and service here is friendly. Prices are on par with other Bend cleaners, a couple of which we tried and with which we had awful outcomes before finding Mastercraft. They also provide some limited tailoring on site, like having pants hemmed, which can be convenient. (But my recommendation for that service and things more extensive is Scissorbird in Bend. http://www.yelp.com/biz/scissorbird-sewing-and-alterations-bend-4 ) The DOWNSIDE This is an old building (circa 1970's?) with an awkward to access and falling apart parking lot right off of Greenwood Avenue. A tip is to pull into the larger empty paved lot alongside the building (look for the black and white mural with guys in ties and sans pants practicing their putting http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/mastercraft-cleaners-bend?select=h33JgLgIssHPqQY6A-ExqQ#EcmCZfvB87e9zpguvBw2qg ) and walk around. Also note, for people using wheelchairs to try to access this place, it is nearly impossible to do given blocked path of travel into the door.

I have been a long time customer of this drycleaner--for about six years, maybe longer. I have…read morerarely had an issue, but they were generally minor or not worth fighting about, so I did not complain. Generally, the work done on my silk blouses was good, so I trusted Paul with my business. Unfortunately, in June I had a family member drop off my Ralph Lauren blazer after they had dirtied it. It was ready a week later, but given the fact it was summer, I did not try it on. Fast forward to September 3rd, and I tried it on given that the weather was suitable today. I was in shock, as the blazer was so tight I could hardly move in it. I did not put any weight on in two months, and I am much too old to have grown for this to have fit so poorly. For context, reaching forward with either arm caused the worsted wool to tighten and yank back, making for an extremely restrictive and uncomfortable experience. Prior to this, the blazer was baggy on me how I liked it. Additionally, I don't know what he did, but the blazer was very coarse and rough; clearly the wool was stiffened and raised from moisture. The measurements of the jacket are, objectively, not the same as others for sale online. And, there was one thing I couldn't place, but strangely the fabric just feels thinner with less of a stretch to it. I was devastated. The employee at the desk and I spoke, and she kept telling me I could leave and come back. I said I would like to wait if that's okay. She agreed, and we talked about the problems with the blazer; she had no idea about fabric, and we consulted Google, which pointed towards irreversible damage. I waited an hour. She finally decided to text the owner, Paul, and about 5 minutes later he came barreling in very upset with a fake smile. He was almost frantic, going over my blazer saying "what what what you say?" We argued for about 30 minutes or so, where he continually talked over me and hardly let me get a word in. He tried to gaslight me and say that I took this blazer in last year, as if to say the damage was something I did. This is the only blazer I have had taken in recently, and in fact, I had taken it out of the plastic and hanger from his shop this morning. He proceeded to try to prove it by attempting to peel off the embroidered crest. Of course that failed. Over and over he kept trying to gaslight me, saying this wasn't the blazer brought in. Absolutely disgusting to try to gaslight a longstanding customer that pays these exorbitant prices. It gets worse. He kept touching me to either usher me or show me something, which I found annoying and weird, even if it was lightly. This was while he was telling me this wasn't his problem, and I only "feel" there's a problem. He then switched it up to "We are good Christians, we don't ruin clothes." Like what? I was so confused and told him that has nothing to do with anything. Then he goes, "OK OK OK But we are professionals, never would happen." I tried to explain mistakes happen, and I want to be compensated. He would just raise his voice and go "NOT MY PROBLEM. WE CHECK CAMERAS SHOW NOT THE BLAZER." So he takes me back to show the dry cleaning machine to show that no water can get in or something... okay? So what? That doesn't mean you guys didn't screw up. Something clearly happened. I have never met someone so shady, immature, and unwilling to take accountability. He then tried to blame Ralph Lauren and called it a manufacturing fault or something, I don't know. He was ranting incoherently at this point. By then I was getting extremely frustrated and said, "Look, I don't want to go to court over this, but I will, because this was my favorite blazer and it was also expensive." He started to go back to how he'll check the cameras and get a lawyer. I said that's fine. This went on and on and on for another 10 minutes or so. He denied me a refund or replacement and said he did not care, continually ranting it was my problem, not his, because he is a professional that does not make mistakes. I'm not a professional, so I cannot know he said. At the end, I asked why he is taking pictures and making measurements? He has no intention of refunding me for HIS mistake. He just said it's not his problem, repeating himself that he'll call me tomorrow to prove the camera's show it's not the blazer. Paul is a shady, greedy scammer that will destroy your clothes and then attempt to gaslight you that there's either no problem or you caused the problem, or he never touched it. Buyer beware.
