Haven't been to this place in years. I was in this area with my girls and thought let's get something to eat. In this really small seafood shop, with a small counter top to sit or stand, paper all over the wall of different combinations or what they have available to order. I am glad to see that in this economy that the prices are still affordable. I was greeted by this young girl who took my order. I asked for some fried shrimp and fries and the food came out hot and fast. I have to say though that the food was just ok. My shrimp had no flavor and my fries could have been cooked just a bit longer. I did add some hot sauce and ketchup for added flavor and it helped. With the summer peaking right around the corner and with the pricing being right here, I would buy again from here if I'm in the area. My girlfriend and I were craving seafood on a budget. I actually found this place on social media and we decided to give it a try! We ordered the broiled flounder and a two piece fish combo. Their food did not disappoint! It really tasted fresh with good flavor! The broiled flounder came with fried rice and vegetables which were pretty good. The two piece fish combo came with tostones which were fried perfectly. They also gave us garlic sauce which was an option to add and lime sauce. Definitely helped enhance the flavor. I've been going here since the early 90s and it has not changed. Is that a bad thing.....absolutely not. The fried crab sticks are still amazing and so is the fried rice. I wish they would bring back the fried apple sticks. I miss those a lot. Service is always a 10/10 but now that place is super small and doesn't have a lot of space to eat. I'm still so glad that when I come back to visit, this amazing spot is still there. read more

The only think I don't like is the rice and the sweet potato fries. Other than that, I love to get food from here. The trader sauce is kinda sour so I usually get it as well. I stick with the shrimp and the whitening dish. Those are usually the ones I go to whenever I need lunch. read more

Pleasant, pleasant surprise. I ordered the chicken cutlet sandwich and it was perhaps, the most perfectly fried piece of chicken I have ever consumed. My only complaint would be the simplicity of the sandwich. It was simply a massive piece of chicken on two pieces of white bread that were likely purchased from the grocery store down the road. If I order a sandwich I want a bun or hero roll, but alas, it was an excellent piece of chicken and it went perfectly with some hot sauce. The fried rice was also quite good and when the meal was over I complimented the Korean gentlemen who owns the place on the excellent food and he bowed I mean come on, the guy bowed? Does service get better than that? What a humble yet badass gentlemen. He would totally kick my ass in a fight and the best part? I'd respect him for it. I was station in the bronx for work and discovered this lovely spot. They have the best steamed salmon w veggies. The seasoning they put on the salmon is so tasty and just enough.
