They're always so gruff and rude like they could care less if you ever bought a car from them. The last time I went there a few days ago looking for myself a car, the car I was interested in (as most of the cars there on the lot) are blocked in by all the other cars. Whether it's cars for sale or cars that are being worked on, you have to wait for them to move many other cars just to test drive one and even then it's like a huge bother for them. I was on the lot for 15 minutes looking at a specific car and the owner and who I assume to be salespeople, all just looked at me and went inside. I'm not going to hunt you down and beg for you to let me give you a few thousand dollars. I don't like to be hounded but at least check in and see if your customers need assistance you know, it is kind of your job and why you have a business. Learn some customer service skills and just general people skills. Now I know why everyone says not to go to your lot.

He contacted me via FB as I had put my vehicle up for sale. He stated that he owned a dealership and could take my 2015 Tahoe in on consignment and sell it for me if I was interested. Being a single female and not having experience in selling cars he said let me take the worry off your hands. To me, it was an answer to prayers... So he came from Kingsport to Greeneville to pick up the Tahoe. We signed an agreement that he would sell the car on consignment and that no one would be driving the car except to test drive or move it while it was on the lot. After just over a month I ask for an update. He said there was interest but just had not found the right buyer. He wanted to keep it a little longer. I agreed. I later found a buyer myself and wanted to go get the car and Payton at that time all of a sudden had a buyer as well. (So he said). I got this long drawn out story about how it would take several weeks for the deal to go through as this buyer had to pull money from his 401k. I said I was coming to get the car and he made up other excuses and I finally said I want my car back! When we picked the car up.... it had 2800 miles on it and had been wrecked!! I have before and after pictures of course and thank God because he at first said it was like that when he picked it up... Not true! He even tried to cover up the damage. Now he is refusing to pay for damages and I am having to file a law suite against him and his dealership. What a low life of a person with absolutely NO integrity, dishonest, a boy not a man with no hope of ever having a real career that he has to take advantage of people who are in a tough situation. Do not do business with anyone at this address unless you want them to waste your time, threaten to assault you, and blow up in your face. This incident happened on 1/20/2020. I initiated contact with Angel Housewright (their saleswoman phone # 4232921975) early in the morning and discussed a vehicle they have available that I'd like to purchase. (2018 Oreion Reeper) We reached an agreement on the price and she assured me all was well with the vehicle so, I hooked up my car hauler and made the 5.5hr drive (one way) to go pick it up. Upon arrival all was well.....I checked over the vehicle and took it for a test drive. While it wasn't all she said it was I was prepared to pay them the price we agreed upon and take it home. I walked back inside the dealership and found the owner sitting at his desk. Payton asked me if I wanted it after making such a long drive and I said "sure". He then proceeded to tell me that he's a dealer and he has to make money/the price that his employee agreed with me on was no longer valid and that the price had gone up. I told him that I wasn't interested and he said "well what are you going to do about it, I have cameras?" I walked out of his dealership and was walking back to my truck when I heard him scream "Hey MF, give me my GD F'in keys back." To which I replied "I don't know where your keys are." He then started running towards me and acting like he was going to attack me. About that time I felt my pocket and realized I did have his keys so I tossed them towards the door over his head as to get him to go after them and leave me alone. He proceeded to run towards me, get up in my face, and demand I go pick them up. He proceeded to get in my face, cuss, spit, and repeatedly ask me "what are you going to do about it?" Clearly hoping to instigate a fight. I calmly told him to pick up his own keys and get out of my face. After fuming in my face and saying "do something about it, you'll regret it", he turned around and picked up his keys. Then he proceeded to yell obscenities towards me as I got in my truck and pulled off. He is lucky I know how to keep my cool and didn't have a gun/my taser in my pocket. This is not a safe dealership for women, children, or any man to go alone. To be able to purchase from such a dealer you should get something in writing, then proceed to bring buddies and weapons should he lose his cool on you. I don't have the dealers name but his phone # is 4234295899. His name is Payton Carter around 6ft 2in, in his late 20's early 30's tall and slender. We later called and he said "your a dealer and dealers screw other dealers". I'm in fact not a dealer, I had casually mentioned that my Dad has a wholesale license. I'm a 19 year old college student that wanted to buy a street legal side-by-side to enjoy. I found a good deal, drove 11+ hr round trip and I was almost assaulted. I wouldn't wish this man on my worst enemy and I can only imagine what in his life has made him this way. Suffice it to say Payton Carter is not a man of character or deserving of your business in any way, shape, or form. My car received a new fuel pump and the same day it broke down and started leaking. The communication from this company is completely unacceptable unprofessional and avoidant. They suggested me to bring my car back there after it broke down but refused to repair the vehicle that they damaged or return my money. Instead they suggested that I find someone else to fix what they have done or take my car to the JUNK YARD for scrap metal???? Or get it REPOSSESSED????? I'm disgusted and appalled with how they handle business. I highly suggest that you go somewhere else if you are expecting a baseline of integrity, honesty, respect, and a working vehicle. Who knows maybe I was treated this way because I'm a young lady that was able to drive a Porsche. They need to close the doors if this is how they handle business. Communication and honesty with your clients is how you remain accountable as a business owner. Not picking and choosing who you screw over. You're supposed to right your wrongs.
