My Dad had always been close enough to help me out if I ever had an issue with my car, but that became difficult to rely on when I moved about 4 hours away for graduate school. I am so happy I listened to the recommendation I was given for American & Import Auto Repair because they just genuinely care about people over their own profits in a way that is HARD to find in this day and age. Every staff member I have interacted with has treated me with the utmost respect and understanding - even when I ask what could be considered "stupid" questions given my lack of experience handling even my own Auto Maintenance. I loved my first experience with them so much that I decided to switch to them for my oil changes as well. While at my most recent oil change, I saw a flyer for their annual women's car clinic that they host for free and reserved a spot for myself and a friend. This past Saturday I attended the clinic and they went so above and beyond that it genuinely touched my heart. They had wonderful goody bags just for attending with stuff that you actually need and can use instead of just random things. They even included a notebook for taking notes at the clinic too! I learned so much at this event and was able to ask as many questions as I liked. The really big thing that stood out to me was when the owner, Tim, spoke at the beginning of the clinic and clarified that they were not trying to sway us to use them instead of any other place an attendant of the clinic might regularly go to, but that the event was meant to empower us women no matter where we get services done. This place has earned my business for however long I am in this area and I will always recommend them to anyone I know!

As parents we were panicking because we are still several hours away and couldn't help. Our first call was to our insurance company for roadside assistance and it was going to be several hours before they could get someone dispatched out there to help him and he was going to just be stranded on the highway waiting. Luckily we found Garland Tire's number and called them......it was getting close to closing time, but the lady who answered immediately offered to have one of their guys drive out there and remove the tire, bring it back to the shop, swap it out, and drive back out there to put the new one on for us. Incredibly fast, professional, went above and beyond and now our son is safely back on the road home. If we lived in that area we would be a customer for life. "Nope you're good to go son" In Michigan he broke down and was towed, where they found the part had SNAPPED almost in HALF because not only did Garland Tire NOT replace it like they said but they ASSURED HIM IT WAS SAFE.
