We haven't had a cat in two years, since our last one crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I really wasn't looking for a new cat, however, an acquaintance, Fatima, was volunteering for this group. She urged us to come look at a couple of them to see if we were interested in adopting one. Most people probably want a kitten, but I didn't. I fell in love with an older one and knew I wanted to adopt her. I went home and started filling out the paperwork to start the adoption process. They called me that night! I didn't realize it would go so quickly. I was able to bring her home the next day after a whirlwind morning of getting everything ready. The volunteer Betty was outgoing and was almost as excited as I was to adopt her. I did take her to our vet the next week. She's quite healthy but does need to have her teeth cleaned. This is what I signed on for and it's a small price to pay for her continued good health. I would recommend this organization for anyone looking to adopt a pet. They seem to be wonderful advocates for animals in need.

Is a fantastic organization! The fact that they don't just adopt to anyone, shows that they take the time to find the BEST homes for these babies. Fosters use their own money to provide food, toys, necessities...anything and everything a kitten or cat needs to be happy and healthy. Some of these cats come from the streets and have never even been in a household setting. Fosters aren't "cat sitters", they love and teach these animals good behaviors and prep them to be able to blend into another household setting that may have other pets. If you're denied as an adopter, there is obviously a very good reason for that. For example, A foster isn't going to give two kittens to an adopter who admittedly let their last cat die because they didn't want to pay the vet bill. That would be totally irresponsible of the foster to do. Christia works hard for the lives of these innocent creatures. Anyone who says anything different, has NEVER helped save or rescue an animal in their life.

Spent a couple days trying to adopt 2 kittens for here and was denied because my boyfriend who the owner of our home is not a "stable living situation" I was also not even going to be considered because I share my home with other people! Forster parent will tell you one thing only to completely change the next day! Wouldn't recommend if you want to get your hopes up just end up arguing with a horrible volunteer who won't even let you speak. Christa you need a new job!!

We adopted a kitten riddled with EAR MITES, RINGWORM, and CALICIVIRUS. It infected our entire household and Foreclosed Upon Pets refuses to pay our vet bills!!! We paid $175 adoption fee to ensure we added a healthy kitten to our household and it has infected both humans and cats alike. I am so disgusted with their lack of care. I am very angry and hurt. I thought you may be interested in knowing how FUPI treats their animals and costumers. I have been very patient in my attempts to get reimbursement but Christia (foster) and Mary (executive director) have refused.

When we first brought Chewie home, we were very worried because he had a cough and needed medical care. As a new puppy owner, it was stressful and scary because all we wanted was for him to be healthy, comfortable, and okay. I am thankful that Puppy Boutique Las Vegas did not ignore our concerns and helped make sure Chewie received care through the clinic they partnered with. I also want to thank Calvin for being friendly and helpful during the process. Even though the beginning was stressful, I appreciate that they stayed involved and helped with Chewie's health. I also want to give credit to Flamingo Pet Clinic for helping treat Chewie and taking care of him. Because of their care, Chewie is doing much better now, and that has been a huge relief for us. At the end of the day, I am thankful that Chewie is healthier, happier, and doing well now. I appreciate Puppy Boutique Las Vegas, Calvin, and Flamingo Pet Clinic for helping with his recovery and for making sure his health was taken care of.

There were only a few cats which was incredible, because so often they are full. The dogs, though, broke my heart. Their cages are clean and the animals were all healthy, just sad and lonely. We went to kennel after kennel and it was just heartbreaking to see so many sweet, beautiful, adorable, and needy dogs. It makes me want to beg all of Las Vegas to please go and adopt a sweet new dog, but I know that not everyone wants a dog or can have them for whatever reason. We don't even have dogs, but we do both love them. I just hope that the people who can adopt dogs will go to the animal foundation and help give an animal a forever home.

I hate this place so much. They euthanize animals... period…read more Also, getting a long term foster is such a difficult thing. I've tried numerous times to inquire about a posted pet and by the time I get a response- either it was adopted or an organization came and took the pet. It would be nice to know before I go all the way to north Las Vegas what the availability is. I would hate to go there and it pet is adopted. I've also dropped off strays I've found here like 3x. It's such a loooooonnnggg tedious process! Like they make you wait so long for thier intake. I had at one point had to get staff to help us asap when 2 of the dogs didn't want to go in! It took forever! I'm just disappointed in this place. They are suppose to help these pets but they are so disorganized and they have become one of the biggest high kill organizations here in Vegas. How sad!
