There's tons of parking for this building and the Tareen offices are on the main level. There's a cosmetic office on the right and a traditional dermatology office on the left, as soon as you enter the building. I was given an iPad to fill out the standard forms and give consent for treatment. My appointment was for a full body consultation. I was taken back quickly, discussed a few concerns and my appointment started. I was seen by a very nice, and bubbly PA. I felt like she listened to my concerns and was able to address all but one. She treated my surgery scars with care and attention. The procedure I had was fairly simple with minimal pain. I got the prescription I requested and picked up on site, that was great. Looking forward to my appointment next month.

Then they follow up with an email. Where was this effort when I was your patient trying to get lab results? You didn't have the time for me then, but now you do as you've been exposed. Sure is ironic... They flagged a photo of my interaction with the Yelp admin team in yet another attempt to hide their horrible business practices. I've now begun writing additional complaints to the BBB, medical board and to my insurance company. Additional reviews will be submitted on every platform. Original review- I'll start by saying I enjoyed the nurse practitioner, Kaitlyn, who saw me for my visit. This is the extent of my positive comments. I do, however, prefer to see an MD. After reading Google reviews this seems to be the norm here, I was leery but gave them the benefit of the doubt. The office seems to be full of nurse practitioners and no doctors. The office administrative staff are incompetent, disinterested and lack care and compassion for their patients. After waiting a month for results which should have taken 10-14 days I made several attempts to contact them to obtain lab results. Voicemails left, calling to be placed on hold - by my 4th call I offered to hold indefinitely until someone could help me. I was repeatedly told, "please schedule an appointment to come back in." No, how about you give me my lab results which I've authorized you to leave via voice message if need be and then I can decide if I want to come back. What's so hard about that?? If and when they do call back, it's after hours so when you immediately return the call you'll have to leave a message and wait for them to call you. Again, phone logs don't lie. Finally, being patient and kind wasn't working and my common courtesy cup had runneth dry. Upon demanding results after nearly 6 weeks post procedure I finally received them after refusing to get a call back and being insistent upon holding for the information. Clearly this has to be a breach of duty of care! Patients should not have to beg for information on services you provided. I've saved my call logs and records attempting to reach them. I'm truly blown away by their ineptitude. The office manager needs to be fired and the entire team would benefit from a thorough training in patient care. Then, guess what?! I get a notification that I have a balance due. Wanting to be done with them I log in and pay the bill hoping they go away forever. Nope. The next day I receive a message that I have a credit balance on my account. Wait, what? You sent me a total yesterday, I paid it. Now I have a credit? You seriously can't make this stuff up. I've been seeing dermatologists for nearly 30 years . NEVER have I had an experience at a "medical" establishment as I have had at this one. Simply put, these guys would lose a race when they're the only one running. They make the impossible possible - but not in a good way. Steer clear and go elsewhere.

From Simone (front desk), Lindsey (assistant), to Esther Ajayl (my PA) I had the best, informative checkup. They even helped me access my visit on their electronic medical record!

Got caught in what gadgets, services to make easy money but left out a few steps. Doesn't study aging women's needs like thought he was. Caught him in a few yellow lights that even though I appreciated all done for me, time to drop going there. Example: Visit is for 1 topic, when I got to weight loss, how my pee poops skipped over to promote a daily drink no one had read the ingredients .. was is gluten free. Honest staff and physician just not revealing potential useful information. There are people with a lot of common sense they haven't heard of .. like PBS Judith Wrightman.. not sure I got the last name spelling right. Dr. Amen about brain health are just 2. No mention of how grief support or being prepared is important. Was told he would make an area more male friendly then that didn't happen. He has males that at least accompany the females coming. I was hospitalized, went well, it could've gone better and was not given any reports, clinic notes to make any future hospital experience less upsetting and more pleasant. Having a PCP not mentioned and some of what was promoted there clashed with the common sense at a primary physician visit. There is potential at this clinic to be awesome yet they might forego it for what's easiest and safest financially. What they don't realize is a few tweeks would achieve concerns, be cheaper, turn them into an exceptional, very needed service provider niche.

In the course of my skin check, she looked at a spot I was concerned about and said it wasn't anything. Then - very casually - she said she could get rid of it (it was basically a deep pimple) and did so. At no point did she mention this was an extra charge. When I received my bill, it was charged at $300 in addition to the office visit. Had she said it was an extra charge, I would have declined and taken care of it myself once it was determined not to be something of concern. When I called to ask about it, the business manager said that it how it's done. She said they don't say what is extra and everything done in the office is billed. I mentioned I would have declined the service if I knew what the extra would be and she did not seem to care.

Over time, that personal touch has completely disappeared. Now, it feels like a large, impersonal machine. I see a different provider each visit, and no one stands out. Everyone says the same things and goes through the same motions--like robots. The care feels rushed and disconnected. My recent visit with Dr. Lee was the final straw. She seemed annoyed by my questions and didn't acknowledge my history, even though it's in their system. I left feeling dismissed and frustrated. I've stayed because my records are here, but I won't be back. Bottom line: If you want quick, anonymous care and don't mind seeing someone new every time, this place might work. But if you're looking for personal, consistent care--look elsewhere.

As it turned out, I ended up getting admitted. There was a bit of a hiccup with the ambulance however I was out for most of that so I don't remember all the details. The staff also took good care and communicated well with my spouse. Appreciate the care we received.
